Great Game!
The game is very well made — great graphics, intuitive interface.
Ads lock screen, require hard boot
Don’t install this app! I’ve played it for years and enjoyed it but I’m deleting it today. When I click “New Game” the app goes into an ad for some mah jong game, won’t stop and won’t let me swipe or tap my screen to get back to my home page. I can’t even call up my control center. Only a hard shut down stops this. I’m not having any app that takes over my phone. There’s no telling what it is doing in the background while I’m locked out.
Spider solitaire
Seems that the same game keeps popping up after I have played it. New game starts but it’s in the same configuration as the last game. This has been happening a lot
A lot of dishonest advertising
In principle it is a great game, however, by accepting dishonest advertising in its games, Brainium also acts dishonestly. It is acceptable that there is advertising on the platform, but it is unacceptable to use advertising that does not end while the user does not interact with obscure links existing on the screen that lead him to other destinations outside the game environment. Unfortunately, this has become standard in APPs at Apple and makes the use or download of applications uninteresting.
Locking up more often
Locking up more and more often. What’s up?!?! Tired of reloading the app. Not tolerable much longer.
Great game
I like the fact that you can keep adding points. It’s always a challenge and if you’re having difficulty you can skip the game. Please don’t get rid of this version. I have tried others and I don’t like them too hard to play the next game on those.
Will not load
I have had this for years and not working
Very good game with minimal advertisements.
I like this game and kept it around for far longer than any other ad supported game. But I am deleting all games that have advertisements. Especially those that use ads that do not represent the actual game. Good job, developers. Bad job marketers.
The game is annoying
Can you move the undo button away from the hint button? Simple fix.
Ads that will not EVER x out
I know and expect ads, I tried doing a note to support, these ads come up and you can not get rid of them. I had to try to even turn off this iPad to get rid of it, I click on new game and there is the ad again! Can not play! What is the deal, this is the only game I play! Please fix it. I have screenshots of them, can find no place to attach them. Thanks!
Cyndi
Out of all the spider card games available I enjoy this the most.
Great Game But Ads Make it Unplayable
The game used to be great! But lately it will open ads that are literally impossible to close. The ads either don’t have an “X” (even after waiting for a while to see if it shows up, and tapping the corners where the “X” usually should be also doesn’t work) or they’re the interactive type that get you to play the game and the interactive ad never closes and never has the option to close. It just keeps going until it freezes and then refreshing the app just opens another ad. Usually I don’t care about ads because it’s a free game, but I quite literally CANNOT PLAY THE GAME.
Deleted
I had to delete this app due to ads that don’t go away.
When you can play, it’s great
The constant advertisements between games are missing a method to CLOSE, so you’re forced to restart the app multiple times in order to play. There is no countdown for how long you’re forced to look at an advertisement you’re never going to play.
Blocking Ads & Freezes
The game freezes, especially in landscape mode, often. At first it was every 2-3 games. Now it’s multiple times in every game. And the pop up ads block the game and can’t be closed. Looking for alternatives.
Passing time
Challenges me to think and very enjoyable
Can’t get out of ads
Ads every few games. And you can’t get out of the ads. What a waste.
Love this game!
Ads to upload the new version (which I already have) won’t let me you play until I respond. So, I just turn off the wifi …. that’s one way to beat the ads. 😊
AWFUL ADS!
Like the game but the ads have gotten worse over time and are extremely INTRUSIVE. The ads INTERRUPT your game and are extremely annoying. I do not recommend downloading the app because of the ads.
Mad
I love this game! However latest updates have pop up adds that cover the game! This is frustrating! Considering deleting!
Always return
I get distracted and play other games but I always, always come back to Spider.
Too many ads
I like the game but it is enoying and almost insulting to have see the same game ads after every game. Stupid too. I will just quit playing if it continues.
Hospital Pleasure.
I recently spent some time in hospital and made good use of this app.
Sometimes You Can Play Solitaire
Randomly jumping to the browser with scams and pop-up videos make this a poor way to play solitaire.
Ad Issues
You can’t exit poi of ads sometimes for hours
Great Solitaire Game
Great version of solitaire. Many options and difficulty levels. I sometimes play 2 suits or the very difficult 4 suits. Which, by the way I still haven’t won. But I gotta admit when I want to just relax I play the easy single suit level. I find this to be a very enjoyable game.
Malware redirect
While playing, my browser opened up with a malware alert redirect. Don’t support an app that does this.
Hate the ads!
The game is great. The ads suck.
Malware
The game works great, but the ads - without my prompting - have been auto opening malware sites and I therefore must warn people that this app should be considered malware in itself. I’m happy to redownload when advertisers receive more scrutiny.
Norton doesn’t like it
I finally deleted this after Norton warned me multiple times about the site.
Opens spam windows
Game play is smooth and usually nice but lately it has been randomly opening a browser tab, used to be once a week and I could overlook but just happened 3 times in 30 seconds. Shady!
Unplayable with add at start
The add at start blocks the game as there is no possibility to close it. It used to be a good game but now I will have to look for other solitaire games on the market which shouldn’t be too hard.
Great game
I enjoyed playing this daily but am not happy with the banner ad at the top. It cuts off the screen and don’t see the bottom cards in the row. I hope it can be changed. Was a great app till now.
Program freezes up
In the past several months maybe the past year I’ve noticed that the program freezes up quite frequently during ads and I have to reboot my iPad in order to play the game this is very frustrating!
Updates
I’ve had this game for years and never had one bad thing to say about it. You could play it w/out multiple adds taking over the game, choosing different fonts for your cards—even making the deck one of your own pics. All great stuff. Their latest update has changed things. I completely understand all companies using adds. I have NO problem with that. What’s maddening is how the adds are popping up. They pop up right in the middle of your game…not just once, but 2 or 3 times, and they’re hard to close out. That’s a bit excessive. A big disappointment from a game that was a 10 star game until recently. Use adds before and after the game….but please, don't interrupt the game to show the same adds you’ve already seen 10 times.
Love it
I play it every day. Can I please have 1 change? Please change the location of the menu caret. When I am tapping to move a card the menu pops up and somehow always leads to me clicking on 'How to Play'. Outside of that. It is my favorite game.
New version is awful
I’ve played this for a years and it has long been a favorite. . All of a sudden I began winning every time. No challenge at all. I am looking very a different spider app that is more fun than winning every time.
Bandeau pub suite dernière l’an
Spam pop ups
I’ve played this game for years. For the last month I’ve gotten spam Apple warnings. I’ve tried contacting game support to no avail. I’ll have to stop playing now. I’ve played over 5500 games. Sad.
Too many ads
This is one of my favorite games, but now ads are popping up constantly during a game. I will have to look for another game.
I love it
I think it is the best card game ever any age people can play this amazing card game.
Ads won’t clear
I’ve played this app for years. Now the ads won’t clear to play the game.
Spider Solitaire
Really fun game
Ads are too much
Deleted this app after years of playing because now ads will randomly appear during in-game play as you’re concentrating. It’s like if you take too long, here watch an annoying unsolicited ad that also may not close correctly and make you completely restart the app. Not for me.
Seizes up my iPad constantly.
I have enjoyed this game, but now it freezes constantly and stops my iPad from working. Now looking for a new developer of this game.
Spider Solitaire
Love this game! FUN and ENTERTAINING! Great Design! ENJOY!
Absurd price for ad removal
I’m the type who will happily spend a few dollars to get rid of ads in a game I see myself playing regularly. I’ve been playing this game again for a few week or months. Fantastic game. I assumed I paid for no ads at some point because I wasn’t seeing any at all. I guess the app updated or something because now I’m BOMBARDED with ads and seemingly no way to restore purchase if I did pay in the past. Now they want 12 bucks. 4 or 5 absolutely but guess I’ll be looking for another idle game to pass short stretches of time.
Spider Solitaire
I enjoy playing this game it relaxes me keeps my 81year old brain alert I think
The ads… seriously?
Loved this game with the card customization and ease of use, but now I get in ad in game every 30 seconds at times. Ads. In the middle of gameplay. For SOLITAIRE. Uninstalling.
Annoying
Takes off and makes several plays on its own if you happen to touch it the 'wrong' way. Annoying as they would not necessarily be your intended plays and several happen so fast in a row you don't see what happened Update. With new update, not only are there ads every time you start a new game, but ads scroll across the top of the screen the entire game and are very distracting
