Sales transaction breaks the vault
When i added a sales transaction it completely messed up my vault tracking. So i had to restore a backup and just mentally make the adjustment of that sale in my mind or i may have to delete a purchase to show the total correctly. Idk the specific issue, but its on the app side and not user error. Something is broken with sales transactions. I tried several times and never works
Kind of clunky
Not the smoothest of interfaces. You have to set weight units globally. So I’ve bought gold in both ounces and grams. I can’t choose the unit when making an entry, have to make the conversion separately.
Horrible Technical Support
The app delivers as promised, but if you encounter any technical issues, you’re on your own. I’ve had it for a few years and it worked fine until recently. Now, the app crashes upon opening. I’ve written tech support 4 times to no avail. I haven’t even received any acknowledgment of receipt of my messages.
A bit upset
I love this app I use it for work and for personal tracking of my investments. I updated my phone which also updated the app and I lost my whole vault. I spent so much time putting all of my stuff on there to track I feel too heartbroken to use it again for a while.

Missing $amounts of each item in vault
Under vault each item is listed. There use to be the amount / worth of each item listed line by line. The worth item $ amount is now missing. I’ve been using this for 10 years and it was always there. I go to shows and can see what each item was currently worth. Now I have to sit down and calculate what each item is worth. It’s time for me to find an app that shows the amount. This app is no longer useable to me. Their screen shot where they show the amount line by line is now incorrect.
Great First Impressions
I’ve recently switched over to this app from another after they announced they will be moving to a membership model. After putting in my inventory I have to say I’m quite impressed! It’s well thought out and shows everything I’ve come to expect from an app like this. Well done! Edit: After using it alongside another app for over a month now I find this one much nicer with a few recommendations to the developer. Please allow edits to items. I traded silver in for gold at spot for spot with no cash involved. I wanted to edit an item to reduce numbers but had to do a sell off instead. I’d also love to take a picture of the actual item to add it. Also many items missing. An example is Gold Sovereign and Australian Kangaroo’s. Keep up the great work!
Too old, does not work properly
The app is not optimized for iPhone X and the vault can’t count. I tried adding some purchases and now it’s saying I have more than I actually have. The prices are always up to date, that’s about all that this app is good for. Needs to be updated. 2 years ago your last update said “more updates soon”. Well has it been long enough?! Don’t know what your definition of soon is.
App doesn’t let edit an order once it’s done
I was entering all the orders to keep track of them and it was fine, it works really well. I realized I forgot to put something in the order, and now it wouldn’t let me add items. Also I was entering a super big order with around 10 items. I accidentally scrolled because the keyboard was in the way and it completely deleted all I did, going back to the previous menu. That was very frustrating. Once you are adding products to an order it should lock in and not let you go back until you click a button, or at least save unfinished work :(
Best precious metals app.
This updated version synchronizes flawlessly. The app itself is unique, in that one is able to enter purchase and sales with ease, and keeps accurate records of the metals inventory. After searching the App Store numerous times, I found NO OTHER APP that fulfills all of these requirements. Kudos to the developer.

Lost my vault in update
Any pointers so this doesn’t happen again? Had purchase prices, type and everything in there which took some time and after update not there :(
Single entry for purchases
Useless in the current status as it only allows u to enter one time metal purchase. So what if i purchased gold continuously during the past 5 years!

Great app
This app is great and allows to keep track of purchases and sells and profit and losses. Would recommend.
All data gone
For over the years I have catalogued hundreds of gold and other precious metals items in this app. Suddenly one day all the data is wiped. I can no longer access the vault as the app crashes. There is no support from vendor.
Update needed
It’s a GREAT app for tracking your stack 🦍but it’s also been a few years since the last update. Silver collection needs expanded and a few bugs need fixed, but as is you can manually enter any shiny piece for it to track, you will just have a generic picture of a coin/bar instead of an accurate representation. Overall best app out there for tracking your stack. 🦍🦍🦍
Only works on WiFi
Very good app - great design, very flexible. But only works for me when I'm connected to the Internet, which renders the app almost useless. Frustrating.
Value of metal not right
Would give more stars but it doesn’t calculate price of metal correctly. If I divide what I paid by value per unit item or ounce price isn’t exactly right. If I put in number of 1 oz rounds it calculates fraction of ounce. And it has no help explaining anything that values represent like the values needed entered to compute actual value.

Bad App
This App has been a huge disappointment. The Vault feature has not worked in months and all of saved info has been lost. The App will not even open and when I try to open it crashes the App.
Works well enough
Can be a little weird when going back into the app if you were in the vault. Also there are several popular coins missing, like helvetias and silver kruggerands. But it tracks everything you enter, has all the relevant fields, and is a lot easier than using an excel spreadsheet for me. Whenever I buy something I just whip out my phone and punch it in.
Bad
Looks great at first but then when I start using it it says 1000 gram gold 24k would cost around 440 euros, while the price is 1394 $ /ounce now. Doesnt work well, refuses to work sometimes aswell..

The total holding of specific items is incorrect in some areas. A true holding of 8, confirmed in purchases review, returns an answer of 9 in the inventory overview

Good Reference
A quick reference for when I want to know what is going on in the metal market and when I want to review trends so I can plan for future transactions and purchase. I don’t use the inventory feature. Input is time consuming.
Good app
This is a good app, and the customer service seems goods, however it always crashes while on 3G and seems to only work on WiFi.

I’ve been using this app for years and it’s by far the best, but now with the new widget function, it’s in a league of its own. Highly recommend for any precious metal aficionados out there. 👏🏻
Vault no longer works
I really liked the way this app kept a listing of my stack and its current value, but about six months ago the vault stopped working and my holdings disappeared. Now when I open the vault it just displays my name and password.
A good app
The app is clear and well laid out. This is the main app I have running all day when checking spot prices. What would turn this good app into a GREAT app would be a feature to alert you when a MIN and MAX price of each metal is reached, and the ability to zoom in on the charts.
Productive
Good app, does what it says. I like the vault, good idea but already done in goldbugvault and a little better but limited as it only does gold. A visual appealing concept like the one mentioned above but for all metals would work well. , like most apps this one has graphs but is boring. Give us moving safe combinations, spinning locks, swinging doors and visual chunks of gold, silver etc with markings,weights and the ability to individually name bars (owners), make the app more exciting / visually appealing, I'll be the first in line to buy. The real estate in smartphones / visuals etc is not being capitalized on with this and most apps. Anyway as stated good app, does what it says ........... but could still be better !

No longer Premier.
This app no longer works on a iPad. The app display runs off the screen. When trying to add items to the vault the blue cancel and Done selection at the top of the page is off the screen. My vault details and purchase history disappeared. The app has no way of backing up the important data. Originally I liked the app a lot. It seems to no longer be supported. App support isn’t responding.

Widgets can’t be installed! The app is not listed in available apps to offer widgets after making my purchase. I’ve restarted my iPhone, refreshed the app …IT SIMPLY DOESN’T WORK! They got my money and I have no widgets!

Crashing
Today, 26-Sep-10 this App would no longer open. It just crashes every time. I've installed the latest OS for iPad, and re-downloaded the App, but it's still not working. Worked well up until today.
