What people like
- Great for checking news and scores
- Easy to use overall
- Good place to buy club gear
What they complain about
- Keeps crashing when you open it
- Links and articles do not work
- Logs you out constantly without warning
- Only shows Premier League fixtures
Good
Great for shopping and news. Great content too.
Still a disgrace
The app is still largely unusable on an iPad Air (M3). The sliders keep flashing, the navigation is unresponsive, so the app is close to useless as the pages won’t open. How can a Premier League club embarrass themselves with this junk?! I’m currently paying a monthly subscription for content that I cannot access. I’ll need to reconsider my support for LFC, I don’t see the point in engaging when the club neglects and disrespects its own supporters like this.
The official Liverpool fc app
It’s a bit laggy and glitchy but overall it’s good
Disappointing
Can’t read any of the news articles from the main page as they won’t open and when on the video tab it flicks from one video to another uncontrollably
Disappointing
Only works in portrait mode on my iPad the app it replaced had no problems working in ‘landscape’ to take advantage of the full screen
Best app
This was really good for people who track games and scores 5 stars
Horrible app for blind and visually impaired users
I have a visual impairment, use VoiceOver on my iPhone and find this app is horrible to use, clearly there has been no testing with VoiceOver screen reader, which is a widely recognised and used screen reader built-in into the iOS. It is extremely disappointing that LfC choose to release this software in their name, I'm a season ticket holder of 40 years, and now I have to deal with this half hearted attempt of connecting with me, it is extremely disappointing that no effort has been put into ensuring it works for all users, customers, fans. This is not inclusive.
Live notifications
When I enable live notifications, i5 doesn’t appear on my lock screen , on other apps it work but it doesn’t on this app
Subscribed for full access but …
Then it constantly says I need to subscribe to get access to the videos. Total waste of time trying to use it. There was no contact form for support that I could find so it’s just a wasted month on my part. Don’t bother with it honestly just use the app for the free stuff.
Disappointing
Since replacing LFCGo app this has content that will often not open. In addition finding and playing video clips is much harder and at times does not function. Please restore the separate LFC Go app.
Liverpool are massive
Great app
Shocking - doesn’t work
Never used such a poor app. News articles only work if you press the notification. Even then sometimes they don’t work. If you try and press on any news article on the app it doesn’t do anything. What a pathetic waste of time of an app, unfortunately the only solution is to use the website, by which point you’ve wasted any time that you save using the app to begin with. Poor
Constantly signing me out
Everything is fine but every single couple days it signs me out
Please stop the crashing!!
Need this App for the 3pm blackout games. Just had to reopen the app between 45 and 80 times to hear the Palace match. Yes, I was on very stable WiFi, didn’t help. The App just kept closing, missed 2 of the 3 goals and half of the controversial Palace goal. Please can you fix it?!
Display issues
The latest update doesn’t allow iPad users with a keyboard to view the app in landscape
Liverpool is goated
The website is great but the team is better
Abysmal
I don’t believe there’s a worse official App Store app from a professional sports team out there. None of the links work, you just click on them and nothing happens. On the media page, the image carousel just spins. Awful. If I could give zero stars, I would. Expect a lot better from LFC.
Nice app
Finally works with iOS 26, just need the all red video app to be updated the same way.
Glitches Recently
I’ve had this app for years, but recently have been unable to open articles or continuously listen to the audio commentary of the match. The app has been incredibly glitchy and no matter how many times I delete the app and re-download it. It doesn’t seem to fix it even with app updates.
Far too many notifications!
Even as a die hard LFC fan, I have had to g obi to the app settings and turn off ALL notifications as it just bombards you with them.
App working again!
Please can developers now move on to tactics and team cohesion. Thank you.
IT DOESNT WORK
Not sure what’s going on but the older app worked fine. Now it’s all fancy pants and All Red it no longer works. I don’t get live commentary any more, can watch interviews or videos. It doesn’t eve update on the scores for matches. I guess it’s another way to get money out of the fans so I have to pay for a subscription. Disgusting and not happy at all.
Erratic and clumsy.
When first updated this app. looked great, and I was willing to relearn the navigation of the various menus and associations with other LFC sites, understanding that it help the overall security of a very large operation. For a couple of weeks or so then crossing from one site to another had a very erratic linkage but eventually it settled some reliability. Sadly for the past couple of weeks it has become the app. that will not open. Despite deleting and reinstalling it, it continues to show its handsome opening screen before disappearing back where it came from; on a promising occasion I may catch a glimpse of cookie options buttons but not long enough to actually select one - then it’s gone again.
Too many crashes
Keeps crashing
iPhone IOS 26.1
The app does not work with the IOS update 26.1. Apple say it is something wrong with the developer side. Please help
New App Update on iOS 26.1
Updated to the latest version of the app and it works great now!
Time warp
Someone left their 2015 app in here. Don't auto-rotate my screen because you can't be bother creating a decent app. And video in portrait? Which stooge allowed that?
One, simple, minor request…
Unless I’m completely missing a setting somewhere, I would just simply want audio notifications for match start, half, final, and scoring. Only notifications that I get are visual, most of the time I miss them. Had to go back to the (shudders) ESPN app to receive the notifications I wanted.
Cannot login - unusable 😔
I am a paying member and cannot get logged in. It logs in, shows the membership screen for about 5 seconds, and then auto-logs out. Pretty much unusable without this basic feature.
Not working on my new iPhone
When I originally installed this app on my old iPhone 12 mini it worked perfectly even after upgrading the OS to iOS 26. I got an iPhone 17 running the latest version of iOS 26 and this app refuses to run on it I have deleted and reinstalled the app and it still refuses to run. The other LFC apps (LFC Store & All Red) work within a hitch. What’s going on?
Not opening
I updated the app recently on my iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 26.1 but it shuts down as soon as I open the app … what’s wrong here ?
Nothing work
Just downloaded latest version now cannot select any items to read or view. Do they not do any testing before they issue a new version
Liverpool
I like to read it often to keep up with what's happening and the fixtures for future games
Recommendation
The app ought to be upgraded to stream live matches
Lost landscape view with latest update!
Just updated the app and lost the landscape view on my IPad, which worked fine in previous version. Please fix this!
It is good
It is good
Horrendously glitchy!!
Really poor app. Can’t click on any of the news items, and when you hit ‘Video’, all of the video items just move around randomly! Don’t make an app unless it works!
Really good
Yep a really good app.
Help?
When I finally found the help menu, I clicked on it and I received a message that stated the url couldn’t be found. I love my Liverpool, but they need to really improve the ease and functionality of the website. YNWA!
Login in issues
I try to login and when I do, it logs me out. They need to urgently fix this.
Update Please
It would be great to have the app be in landscape mode instead of portrait especially when using an IPad. The app is great otherwise.
Shocking app
Won’t work App doesn’t work at all loads but you press on anything and it just doesn’t work at all
LFC
Great application
Buggy and poor GUI design
Brought to you by the $7.35B FSG. Fixtures & Results will only show Premier League matches, so don’t count on this app for getting info about other competitions LFC are participating in. General GUI is poor. It has the same general layout as the official website, which is actually great,… if this were the early 2000’s. A graphic design student in his/her first year could do better.
Can we say glitchy?!
The app looks good at first, assuming you are a paying member with full access, which is really the only way to get anything out of it. The problem begins when you actually try and move around and find anything or update anything etc. The app is so glitchy I’m constantly being logged out, unable to get screens to load, unable to get links from menus to work, and God forbid you have to update any membership information. Perhaps the app works better in Europe. But in the US, this global brand has A LOT to work on. In Europe there is a lot of club loyalty. In the States it can be more difficult to build and maintain a fan. Having functional, quality Apps, including the Liverpool store app and LFCGO, that work well independently but also in cohesion, is vital. Liverpool and their marketing team should be better… a lot better. To put it in LFC terms… we want prime LFC Fernando Torres quality apps. We currently have Torres at Chelsea apps. Get it together LFC!
Amazing
An amazing app for me and I love the reds
Made for mobile only
App doesn’t open full screen on iPad and, as a result, videos do not fill the entire screen. Highly disappointing when the old LFC video app has been discontinued in order to push this app. Hopefully app can be updated for the other pre season games so they can be viewed properly.
Good source of team info
Easy to use
Missing matches?
Last year this app showed all of the matches on the schedule and then the results. This year only showing EPL. Plenty of news stories, but why not update the schedule?
Good app, bad fixture calendar
App works ok, not great, for most things LFC. When listening to the audio cast of a game, and the phone locks the sounds cuts out. The fixture calendar only shows premier league games; no domestic cups, no UCL. You have to go through the web page to get that info.
