Excellent and powerful app
The app has a lot of powerful features and it works very well. The new bike computer add-on also complements the app well. The only criticisms I have is that the UI can be unintuitive and since the app has been around for a long time ( I have been using it for years) it could do with a UI refresh to modernize it. Their support is responsive and helpful also.
Apple Watch no longer links to app on phone.
Watch app stopped linking to phone just before renewal. I waited until renewal, hoping that would fix. It did not. Now I must use my phone. I pay $14.99 per year so I don’t have to keep taking out my phone every time I start or stop. I will cancel and demand a refund if the folks at cyclemeter cannot fix this.

Great app
I’ve been subscribed to Cyclemeter premium subscription for a while now and it’s a great app and not super expensive for their annual membership. Four stars instead of five because they did raise their prices $5 from 9.99 to 14.99 this past year. Otherwise, great app and will continue to use so as along as there’s not another major price jump.
Some painful quirks
One of the quirks is so unnecessary - you enter some notes, perhaps a bunch of important things about your workout. It will dump all the notes if you accidentally swipe the tiniest bit to the right, which is easy to do if you are manipulating the cursor at all. It also labels “Cancel” as Back so if you look in the normal place and hit Back thinking it saves your notes like every other app. Nope. Normally Save would be the left button and Cancel would be the right. Too many little issues things which makes me think the developer doesn’t actually use all the features themselves. It did have some of the coolest features way back when and has fixed some things (like being able to, somewhat awkwardly, trim workouts you for got to stop right away) but it still makes some things painful. For a monthly subscription I would hope the little kinks would work out over this many years.

They keep deleting my reviews prob because it’s the truth! I’ve gone back and forth with this app for years but today I’m finally done with it and will rely on my Wahoo! It continues to upload wrong data to Strava! Numbers are WAAAAAAAY off from what the app says!! Developers don’t bother me if youre reading this cuz like you I work hard for my money don’t want to waste it on something not worth it anymore
Good but
Nice app but the gps tracker is way off . When I hit the measured 1 mile it only shows .91 miles They need to correct this.

I swear this app trolls you. I can find motorcycle under a list of exercises but anything else I have to create. Isn’t as laid out as every other fitness app either.

Fantastic Customer Service and product
I’ve used Cyclemeter for around 3 years now. Their customer support is one of the BEST out there. They helped me set up a custom dashboard the way I wanted it to look and it came out perfect. Recently I had an issue with the iPhone and I watch syncing due to a Apple update🤯. Fran Taylor worked with me through all the problems and really helped me out to get it all working again. I can’t tell you how nice they were to help me. Fran Taylor is a brilliant Customer Service employee that really knows the product. I highly recommend Cyclemeter as you go to app for any type of exercise. Thanks, Fran.
Was a great app
Was a great app until they added ads that you cannot close without opening the App Store and internet. Can’t start a new ride without an add you can’t close or see any trip time/stats afterwards without the same issue.
Cadence is always low
Great app, been using it since 2016. One thing that has always bothered me is that there is no way to ignore zeros for cycling cadence. If you’re not peddling it’s always on purpose. The other thing that just started happening is mileage is now significantly lower than Wahoo (they used to always agree) and I can’t figure out why. Both apps are using the same sensor and the same wheel circumference……
Excessive price increase on subscription
I’ve held an ‘elite” subscription on cyclometer for years. It’s a decent app. Today’s announced 42% price increase is ridiculous and insulting to its user base , so goodbye to dear Cyclometer. You lost this long-term user due to cash-grab. Now to explore other app options.

If u ride its worth getting I ride different bikes so its great for me to get total miles from one source
Lost ride data on a big ride
App is OK, but losing data with no way to recover ride history is rough. It’s the one thing I need the app to do. Really disappointing to lose a big ride day and not be able to upload to Strava.
Great app except , for two things
1. It would great if the elevation tracking would total up ALL of your elevation climbing, not just the highest point that you reached. 2. When you click start, it makes 4 beeps. After your ride when you click stop, it makes six or seven high pitched beeps that are ear piercing. It would be great if it simply reversed the same four beeps that play when you click start.
Increasing prices
I used this app for years and now they decided to increase the price a 50% without say anything at all, no mails no nothing, that’s completely unacceptable.
Fantastic, configurable, private
Overall I like the app; it’s very configurable. The downside is that I’ve had it , a couple of times now, randomly drop the watch heart tracking midway through a ride, and the only fix seems to be uninstall/reinstall, which sucks rocks.

Excellent does everything I need to keep up with my ride. I use the history to track my progress. Great app.
Location missing
After the latest update, the stopwatch screen does not show the current location, distance and speed. I love this app so much and heavily relied on for my bike activity (stopwatch, map, log, powermeter display, live competition with my previous records, etc). So please fix this bug ASAP!
Like the app not the ads
I have been using the app for many years, and was surprised to see the latest update splashes a fill screen sized ad now when I launch. This is annoying and hurts the usability as I am usually riding at the time and having to click through ads to get to the program, and being click baited off to another screen.
Some improvements
Cyclemeter for some reason now embeds itself unnecessarily in the App list options when opening any file on your iPhone. You cannot delete it. Very irritating and an example of “app creep”. I’m deleting until this is rectified. Cadence data is still not recorded and can’t be viewed after a ride is done.
Knockdown Version
Hate the ads on the free version. Don’t need all the functions on the subscription version. Would like something in between - same functionality as the free version at a lower price point.
Great app
I use it every ride. Plenty features, more than I could ever need. Easy to use. Always updating app with improvements. Recommend to all want to track and organize their outings. Love the latest update. Much easier and safer to start and stop app from the lock screen. Must have app for anyone who tracks their outings.
Nope deleted
Just deleted. The pop ups on this app are crazy. Every time i open it there is a scam trying to lead me to someplace that says my “account” is being closed unless i re subscribe? Also the crawlers at the bottom trying to get me to click on porn girls? If you’re that desperate for funding for your app… it’s not that great.
Smart Updates Continue…..
Ive developed a preference for not being preoccupied with dashboard when I ride. Cyclemeter does this beautifully, and continues to improve. Thank You‼️

I’ve had Cyclemeter app. for 8 years, used it around the world and found it to be reliable, accurate and easy to use. I don’t leave the house without it.
Finding routes in history
I find that finding routes I’ve already ridden in my history is really difficult as they are ordered by date ridden rather than route name and I’ve been using this app over 5 years so can’t remember when I did them so can’t find them to share with someone else. Being able to sort by name or search your history would be a big help.

I bought this app
I purchased this app for $5 when apps came out that was a lot most were free. I’ve done couch to 5k on it multiple times NOW they want a subscription and no longer have couch to 5k I’ll probably no longer use this app
Great App
Been using this for two years only one that supported independent Bluetooth speed hand cadence sensors. Latest version has ads in the free version which disappear when you have a subscription, remember to restore purchase every renewal!
A few minor annoying glitches.
The app will sometimes quit half way thru a ride for no reason. I’m not sure it measures distance correctly. I’ve noticed discrepancies from posted distance on trails.
Firmware Update
Great app and cycle computer but won’t download new firmware for some reason, really disappointing!
OH, ALL your data is really just your data
So many reasons to love Cyclemeter, but by far my favorite is the fact that I retain 100% absolute control over all my data unlike every other fitness app that give you limited fake partial access to your data – I love those apps too— can’t beat the Strava segments— but I always record on Cyclemeter.
Incorrect pricing posted
The app is advertised for $14+ with a 7 day free trial , but was charged immediately for $21.31! This is false advertising!

Too Many Settings!
I used the app for 13yrs….i just checked….and all was mostly good. Now, with my Apple Watch etc there’s WAY too many things that can go wrong and I was spending WAY too long retuning this and trying that, as suggested by support, all to try and get my heart rate to record during workouts. “We” failed to get it to work. Life is too short to be looking for settings within settings and secret settings. It’s a great app….if you don’t expect too much. I’m gonna use the Apple cycling app from now on. It works all the time and it’s free. Sorry Cyclemeter, I tried.
Bike ride
This app is very detailed. It gives you the pacific-miles and calories . what I like most about the after tracks you’re every moment. and gives you good history on what you have done for the year.
Unusable
This app has become unusable with added What’s New screens, repeated login requests, and frequent redirects to miscellaneous screens. All I want to do is run, but it takes 5 minutes to wade through the detritus. That is extremely difficult when you’re out in the sun and can barely see your screen… I’m going back to the iOS stopwatch.
Indoor workouts
Won’t record and indoor ride , as it thinks I’m on the road … yet has the option to set the hrm to indoor only . Fix that ? Only a few days into using it so let’s see .
