Love it
Great app . Helped me to find someone to help us while I was postpartum
Ridiculous to have to pay to join
Seems to have good options to choose from, however, you’re required to pay a monthly fee to join. Not a good business model if you just need a caregiver for short term. They need to make this free and then charge caregivers a fee to have a booking
Great Selection
After a few false starts - it’s great to have an experienced helper.
Boo
You have to pay for a subscription before you can even try to get a babysitter. 49.99 on top of actually paying for the sitter.
Paying but always glitching
I don’t appreciate the fact that I have to pay a yearly fee on this app but it’s constantly down. Because the mobile version doesn’t allow you to do everything, if forces you to the app. You come to the app, and it’s constantly down. I’ve barely been on the app for 2 weeks and it’s already been down 3 times. It makes you look absolutely unprofessional to potential families because of the late replies due to not having access to your messages via app. When it’s working, it’s nice how you can be so detailed in your bio, while also seeing what families are looking for.
Employer using Care.com
This app has helped sooooo much finding full time and part time child care. I tell all of my friends and family about it! I have found some quality Nannie’s using this app
Too expensive and can’t pay hires through app.
Not worth it. $188.02 for paying for unlimited “enhanced” background and MVR checks. On top of the annual or monthly rates they charge just so you can message potential caregivers that don’t have reviews because they themselves don’t even know how to use the app. Try another app.
Helped us find a nanny
Great resource for finding a nanny. Finding the right nanny is a lot of work and it is much easier to track with this app, although it is not perfect. A couple things to note - the nannies are able to apply with a generic description to many jobs, so you don’t know if they’ve read the job description. I found many had not and I had to reiterate the start time and that it was a full time role, expecting at least 6-12 months. Many did not respond but the ones who did were often excellent candidates. The “not interested” feature displays in a very confusing way so I accidentally selected “not interested” for the wrong person and had to go back and undo it several times!
Buggy
After adding pets to profile, you have to re-add for each job. Then when trying to add multiple pets, it errors out, essentially becoming unusable.
Content is fine but app does not work in landscape on iPad
Maybe it’s the millennial in me, but I hate typing something long and serious via my phone. I’d rather type it with a physical keyboard on my iPad. Unfortunately, this app only works in portrait me on the ipad which is terribly annoying. Please fix. Otherwise, why download the app if I’m going to be directed to the web? Jira ticket. Please and thank you. JK. but not.
Single dad
Thank you so much for providing a service that has given me piece of mind
DONT download
You have to pay before chatting with a sitter
Seems great
Two weeks back surgery post op. We signed up for care while my wife returns to the office 3 days a week. We did this last week when we found out about the service. Tonight I received an email saying they had no care givers. This has placed us in quite the bind. Not very satisfied to say the least.
First Source for Child Care
We have used care.com for the last 10 years, it is a great source to find and hire quality’s child care professionals
This company is a scam
If I could give it zero stars, I would. I called multiple times to cancel my membership and each time I was told that I would receive a callback from a manager. I never did. The app itself is extremely challenging to use and very glitchy. Do not waste your money or your time. You will not receive a refund no matter how hard you try totally a scam.
Fix Your App!
Probably one of the most frustrating apps I have ever had to use. The whole first tab has never loaded since downloading the app. The app is extremely slow to load anything and several times images of people appear on other people’s profiles. Whoever does your app and coding needs to either fix this or be relaxed.
Good
Good app
Membership is a scam
Get in and get out. As a caregiver they try to nickel and dime you.
Doesn’t Remember Logins
The worst and most annoying thing about this app is that it doesn’t remember your login data. Every time when you open it, you have to enter in all you info in a pop up window. In some cases it then also stays in that pop up, so you’re basically using it on the browser instead of the actual app. Its very frustrating and making it unnecessarily complicated.
Great
Easy to use
They will keep renewing your policy, even when you cancel
Do not use this company I tried to give him the opportunity to refund our monthly fee we canceled in June showed them all the paperwork and they just kept charging never found service never found Help do not use them
Grateful this app helped
This app helped me feel secure in finding someone trustworthy to watch my little one.
Needs better app creators
Terrible navigation and not at all user friendly.
Helpful tool
Found lots of great candidates for our daughter
Hate being forced to leave reviews
Love the app but I hate being forced to leave reviews and there was not a way of opting out and not telling if I like the app or not.
Reliable
Very good thank you
Non-Existent Customer Service
Easily one of the companies most lacking in any semblance of customer service. Their app frequently has tech issues, such as messages not appearing. Their standard turn around time to speak to a supervisor is 48 hours, if you're lucky. And if you have a tech issue, then they say it could take about a week for a response (not the solution necessarily, but a response). As far as companies that link you to service providers, I would look elsewhere
Dennis Bradley
This is a much NEEDED service for our county!
Only useful to subscribers
It’s fairly useless unless you’re planning on the subscription. It says you can wait for applicants but even if they apply to your listing you still aren’t allowed to talk to them without buying the subscription. You’re going to have to subscribe if you want to use it for anything.
