You need to turn IOS voiceover on then try and navigate your app. A real mess for blind users and it used to be so clear.

Possibly the most annoying app feature. Sucks that it can’t be disabled in settings.
No App For AlphaSpace…
Yahoo Finance’s app is exceptionally designed and delivers a solid user experience. Though, as a Gold subscription member, who’s actively using the AlphaSpace on my desktop, I’m not able to seamlessly transition between the desktop web platform and Yahoo Finance’s app, as the functionality features of AlphaSpace don’t exist in the basic app. Paying a premium for the premier tier service should definitely have a related app for seamless use between desktop/laptop and mobile (both phone and tablet).

Does not save alerts list
Good app, but the alerts added to the alerts list just disappears. This started around 2 to 3 months ago. Took all the actions shown on google, but still no success.
My Daily Brief
Please make the ‘My Daily Brief’ floating tab optional. It’s always in the way and it’s not wanted. Please let me disable it or I’ll find another app.

Great to get current pricing info. The new comments section is much less useful than the old. Less functionality and buggy. Financials section is very helpful.

Biased and full of BOTs
Yahoo Scout is clearly biased towards stocks. If it against your stock it tries to subtly suggest negative sentiment. The messages boards are completely overrun with BOTs.

Yahoo Finance used to be an app I highly regarded…. Then the chat format changed and users complained. Many articles are written by Zach’s—not enough information from other sources. I no longer rely on Yahoo Finance as I did in the past.

Usually decent app
Have had this app for well over 10 yrs. Most of the time it works as a basic research and follow the market app. In the last few years it has progressively gone downhill. Too busy tryin to move into a realm that falls far short of the goal to replace higher level trading platforms and the whole purpose of it’s niche is lost. Currently not working is the ability to add lots to different lists for the same ticker. Limiting usefull tracking and research options. Not the first time features disappear or fail to function properly. Which is why it would never be a trading app to depend on.
Linked Broker feature doesn’t work
Whenever I try to link my SoFi account it won’t show any of my positions. It used to.

Needs work to help users with bad vision, low vision
If you have bad vision or low vision, it needs work. Does not display things well on an iPhone if you have the font set higher. This was not an issue on android

Won’t load
After recent update Increasing problems with loading data… Newsfeeds disappearing, unable to access posts.. inaccurate quotes. On iPhone 15 with most recent update ios 26.6.1 …waited two days still not working..useless is. Will look for a more reliable app. Yahoo finance mobile going down hill for quite some time.

I don’t wanna have to set up or manage a yahoo account in order to be able to post on the message board. How can I still communicate without a yahoo account?
Information overload
I have been using this application for over 10 years. Overnight, it went from a 5 stars to a 2 stars. You just can’t get any decent news anymore. Articles are pumping by the second and the real information gets lost. I believe it is a push to subscribe to their premium content. Imagine not finding earnings articles one day later because they pumped so much junk articles right after. What a downgrade.
Portfolio
Portfolio doesn’t reflect actual profitability which can be fixed . Also it should have shown fees paid , which can be useful tool for investors. Also it should give options to select multiple currency under same portfolio.

Locks up every time it’s opened
For the last several weeks this app locks up when opened. I’ve rebooted iPad, rebooted router, closed app and reopened, but it makes no difference. This needs to be fixed and responses from Developer to try rebooting, etc. are worthless. Developer: please get this fixed ASAP
Biased reporting
I enjoy the accurate tracking of what is actually happening but I don’t like it when writers assign reactions in the market to unsubstantiated causes. Leave the politics out of the speculation and stick to actual facts.

I use Yahoo Finance for quick broad market updates and to also drill down on individual securities to get relevant and consistent data. I use it daily.
Several weeks after latest iOS and app updates still not working and freezing when opening!
Yahoo Finance 26.16.0 crashes after about 10–20 seconds on startup on iPad 7th generation. Problem began on iPadOS 18.7.9 and persists after updating to 18.7.10. App was deleted and reinstalled; Wi-Fi on/off makes no difference. Crash occurs before Yahoo login. Yahoo Finance works normally in Safari and Yahoo Mail works normally on the same iPad.
Great app tracking stocks
When have many group of stocks, change and saving the symbols always impossible with errors. Also some symbols are not available especially if they are international stock ticks

hey developers: IT DOES NOT CHANGE WHEN I CLICK ON A FIELD. It opens that field but when I return to home page, all market data is STILL shown as percentages. why? how can I change it back to actual figures? WHY IS THERE NO SETTINGS OPTION?
Slow like the 90s internet
Since the AI adoption, it doesn’t make any difference for users. But it sucks up my phone resource, heating up and draining battery, moving slow like the 90s internet, and frozen screen sometimes. What’s the point of AI integration if it doesn’t move faster but slower?

Makes the iPhone heatup
It used to be good, now it's just a resource hog. It makes my phone heatup like a frying pan. All you need to do is open a watch list on the app and wait for a couple of mins, very disappointed
