Great for personalised and photo greetings cards

I love using Touchnote to send personalised and photo greetings cards. Loads of designs available and the cards are always quick to arrive. Much more convenient and personal than sending via regular mail.

Don’t waste your time on it

This app is the opposite of “usable”, it’s super glitchy and difficult to use. I’ve just spent a long time crafting the perfect post card for my family and after I selected recipients it turned my message into “hope you like my card, bye!” ! Infuriating! What a waste of time this was.

Too many pop ups and issues sending multiple postcards

As others have said the constant pop ups to try membership features are a pain. We just want to send simple postcards from our holiday. The option to send the card to another recipient has a major glitch. As soon as we enter the new address it deletes our message and replaces it with a short, we have you like this card one. Our original message was lost and had to be retyped. Once we knew we copied our message and pasted in every time. But this is a major failing. We have used TouchNote for many years and the app isn’t as user friendly as it used to be.

Postcard

I’ve used the app many times but for the first time, check out wasn’t easy. It kept adding on the £65 for a year or the 5 postcards. If I hadn’t been paying attention I would have paid for it. Very annoying, not happened before

Despicable Business Practice

Touchnote expires PAID credits after six months. Credits you purchased with your actual money simply disappear if you don’t use them within their six-month window. I’m sure it’s disclosed in their terms. That doesn’t make the policy any less absurd or despicable. These aren’t promotional credits, rewards, or freebies. I paid for them. Touchnote already received my money, yet they’ve decided that after six months they can erase what I purchased while keeping what I paid them. It genuinely never crossed my mind that paid credits would expire because the concept is so ridiculous. A company shouldn’t get to create an arbitrary expiration date on something a customer has already purchased just so they can keep the money without providing the service. Absolutely gross, anti-consumer business practice. Paid credits should roll over. Period.

Handy card app

Great for creating personalised greetings cards, but they do take a bit of ‘creating’, although relatives love getting pics of the kids, as well as cards from them. You have to use up your ‘allocation’ though; worst part about it is unused credits don’t roll over month to month. Sort this out, and it will be a huge improvement.

Great easy online international postcard app

We have family across ther continents. It has been so great to have something like this to share treasured moments. We have credits, we create cards—and it’s sent. user interface is well designed and is smart, everything you need to cards. Only problem is sometimes it takes too long to mail and everything is a week late. You really need to add 4 days to the service

★★☆☆☆ United States · v13.61.0 · 7 Dec 2025

Locked into membership

I really want to like this app and I have used it many times in the past, but it has become harder to justify. They lock very basic features like adding a stamp or including your location behind a high membership fee. It is frustrating because those used to be simple options and now they require an expensive subscription just to create a standard postcard. I love the idea of the app but the pricing structure makes it difficult to continue using.

★☆☆☆☆ United Kingdom · v13.69.0 · 12 May 2026

Deliberately extortionate UI design

If you review the pricing, design your first card, enter the address, and hit send, an Apple Pay will pop straight up for your approval. Very smooth expect that that Apple Pay pop up is 65.99 for annual membership paid up front. I understand that I should be more diligent in reviewing whether the Apple Pay pop up aligns with what I am buying, but you should also not design UIs to swindle people.

Love it, but prices went way up :(

I love it! I send postcards to my grandchildren- even the local ones. They have a basket I gave them to keep them in to look back on their time spent with me. They have a plastic covering. Perfect for the age I’m sending them to. I use it for birthdays, Christmas … any occasion. Prices went way up. :(

Not as good as it was

First up, the cards are expensive. Anticipating a reply from the creator bigging up the quality, yada, yada - but it’s still not cost-effective. Second, what happened to the landscape option? Severely limiting. Yes, yes, thank you for my feedback, etc. But you don’t seem to have acted on any of the comments raised in other reviews.

— Boots's Mum

★★★☆☆ United Kingdom · v13.62.0 · 3 Jan 2026

What a hard upsell!

The app fundamentally works, no crashes, no problems sending things but the horrific pushy UI trying to get you to take out their subscriptions plans and push you to add extras here there and everywhere was horrendous. If they removed (or at least toned down) all this then they would be great, as it is i fear a lot of people will click the wrong thing or just simply be conned into something they don’t want and won’t benefit from. It’s this sort of business that really annoys me thus 1* for usability but 5* for possible outcomes with the tool if you’re prepared to try to navigate and keep declining their asks.

Could be a Scam

I had a subscription and most of the postcards I sent were never delivered to the recipient. It’s not a one off event either. And I checked with the recipients post office and they get other mail delivered to them so it appears to be an issue from TouchNote.

More than a 1000 cards sent

Fantastic service that has allowed us to stay in touch with family and friends all over the world. Recommend to anyone who will listen. Would appreciate it though if they didn't add their ads inside card envelopes. I find that super rude to sneak a flyer in as a ride along with greetings that I am sending.

Beyond disappointed

When I started using this app I was thrilled. The card stock was great quality, the photos I uploaded looked amazing and delivery was prompt. The first four cards that I sent arrived on time and the recipients loves them. I sent myself a card to see for myself and reproduction of my photo was stunning. Unfortunately that satisfaction was short lived. I sent two cards to myself on August 6 and two months later one of those cards has still not arrived. Being ever hopeful I sent two more cards to friends in early September and neither of those have been received a month later. My email enquiry has gone unanswered as well. I have given two stars because the cards that were received were beautiful. Extremely disappointing😞.

Good but unreliable

I’ve found the app mostly user friendly but on more than one occasion it decided to crash (especially when using back button then going forward again). It crashes without warning and when you go back in to pick up the draft it crashes again. Only way to fix is to log out (which loses your draft so you need to start again). Frustrating…

Scam! Postcard never arrived!!!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience using TouchNote. I ordered a personalised postcard for Valentine’s Day to be sent to my boyfriend, but it still hasn’t arrived. It completely ruined the moment. Valentine’s Day is a special occasion, and I ordered in good time expecting it to arrive as promised. These cards aren’t just pieces of paper - they’re thoughtful gestures meant to make someone feel loved. When it doesn’t arrive on time (or at all), the whole purpose is lost. I understand that delays can happen, but reliability is crucial when customers are paying for personalised cards for important dates. Sadly, this experience has left me very disappointed, and I wouldn’t recommend using this service for special occasions.

Disappointed

Apparently they changed their membership levels, and by some reason still not clear to me, they claimed there was a billing issue so my old membership was cancelled which means I lost my card credits which I like to save. Only after complaining did they offer to restore my credits. Was a great app originally, but this left a bad impression with me.

Great Greeting Cards

For the most part, I enjoy this company. However, I dislike how the person/people’s names are put at the top inside. I always have to go back - erase their names and put it the way I originally did it. I also dislike the fact that my return address is left off the envelope. Some recipients have said they almost didn’t open the card, because it looked like a piece of advertisement.

Has potential but watch out for credits expiring!

I’ve tried a few postcard apps and this was one of my faves - the designs and functionality are great. The downside is the limited timeframes on credits/memberships. Twice now I’ve disappointingly lost all my credits, which leads me to instead use other apps with longer timeframes.

I had been using this app for a few years. This past Christmas I had sent a bunch of cards but things weren’t working, because of the issues I had sent duplicate cards. Don’t bother unless you want membership

Used this in the past for postcards without issue paying per use. Just tried making a greeting card and having designed a card it’s forced me into a loop that gives no option but sign up for membership- basically there isn’t any ‘back’ option that works. That seems like aggressive sales tactics so I’m abandoning and will try a different app.
