AMAZING
I quite literally would have failed out of school or had a nervous breakdown without this app. I never write reviews, but I recommend this to every single student I meet; it keeps all of my assignments in an easily recognizable place, I can color coordinate my classes so I can easily see which class has the assignment, and it is FREE. Genuinely, if you have any problems with forgetting or losing track of assignments, due dates, and projects this is the perfect app. Everything is customizable so it can be as organized and detailed as you would prefer. I usually spend a few hours at the beginning of every semester putting in every single due date, class detail, and special instruction and then its just basically checking things off for the rest of the semester. I seriously cannot recommend it enough!
Glitchy
Cant enter class times, just a grayed out keyboard space with a 9:00am button at the right edge no ability to scroll or manually enter the time even with the apple pencil
Good app but needs some improvements
I really enjoy using this homework app overall. It’s clean, easy to navigate, and helps me stay organized with my assignments. It’s been especially helpful for keeping everything in one place and tracking what’s due. That said, there are a few features that would make it even better: First, the weekly view. Saturday and Sunday aren’t always visible—I have to click to expand them. It would be much more convenient if all seven days were automatically displayed in the weekly layout. Most students have weekend assignments, and having the full week visible at a glance would improve planning. Second, widgets. I have the premium version, so I was expecting access to a homework widget, but there isn’t one available on my end. A functional widget would make it so much easier to quickly check assignments without opening the app. Lastly, completed assignments remain visible in the to-do list with a strikethrough. While I understand some people may like seeing what they’ve finished, I would really appreciate an option to fully hide or remove completed tasks from the assignment view. Currently, they can only be removed from the Home view, which makes the assignment list feel cluttered. Overall, it’s a strong app with a lot of potential. With a few improvements to visibility, widget support, and task management options, it would be excellent.
Doesn’t work on phone
Works on laptop great but doesn’t work on my phone. First it just didn’t carry over the updates to both phone and laptop. Now it won’t even open on my phone. I checked for updates. There isn’t one. This has happened multiple times. I shut my phone off and back on. Nothing has helped.
Pretty nice
Easy to add classes and tasks. But confusing to add class time becuase it make you choose classes for everyday in the week but my school uses A and B days
Best app ever
I literally swear by this app. I love how I can access my information on my iPhone, iPad, laptop and basically anywhere. Keeps me reminded and on track! 🕺🏽
Basic Functions Don’t Even Work
I tried to add classes to my schedule. I guess that would work if all of my classes started and ended at 9:00 am (since that is the ONLY option I am given, and there is no way to type my own entry). Same thing happened with assignments (only it is 9:30 am instead). I emailed tech support over a week ago, and still have not received a response. Maybe don’t try to charge people a monthly subscription fee if you’re not willing to fix major bugs in the app in a timely manner. This is, unfortunately, what happens once developers get a constant revenue stream and don’t rely so much on new downloads for their income. Uninstalled!
It’s nice but there’s some bugs
I do really enjoy this app for organizing my college life. However, the app seems a little dated and there are some annoying glitches. For example, I must’ve accidentally selected a block based schedule one time for a class, but quickly changed it to what I actually use (time-based). But since then, every day in my calendar displays either Day A or Day B on top of my list of classes and it’s just annoying and adds clutter. I have yet to find a way to fix it. I can’t even contact the app to troubleshoot it because the “Need help? Contact us” button doesn’t even work.
Please Fix Glitch!!!!
Been using this app since 2019 when I began college, it worked great then in iPhone and MacBook. As of now, every time I try to use the app on my IPhone to add an assignment/class/etc the app freezes. You literally cannot even finish adding it and the app freezes. You have to close and open the app to try again and see if you have luck that time getting it done. I do not have this problem when using the MacBook version, it works great and it syncs well with my iPhone. I just wish I could just use the app on my phone when I don’t have my laptop with me :(

Great for assignments
I’m a college student with ADHD. This app has a great UI and makes it easy to plan your assignments and see them. It’s nothing fancy but it gets the job done well and there really isnt anything that would be better. I like that i can use it on myiphone and windows laptop and it will update immediately.
Won’t let me delete the account
After using it once, I quickly realized it was not for me. But when I tried to delete my account, I couldn't find an option in the settings. I reached out to customer support via email and instead of helping me delete my account, they just sent me an activation link. When I clarified that I wanted to delete my account and all my information from the app, they stopped replying altogether. This app is a total trap and I would not recommend it to anyone.
i dont like the block schedule feature
i've been using this app for years and it's great, but the one problem i have with it is recently theres this thing where it shows a block schedule even when i try to remove it. it alternates Day A and Day B and it's annoying and takes up space unnecessarily
App constantly force closes since last two updates
I’m on iPhone 11. I love the app, but recently I can’t use it because it force closes as soon as it is opened. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Please fix this. I will gladly give 5 stars.
Need MacOS Compatability
I love this app for keeping track of my homework throughout the semester. However, the app needs to work better on computers. Obviously it works great on my iPad and iPhone but it is glitchy and tempermental on my computer. If it wasnt for the lack of compatability with the computer I wouldnt hesitate to give this app 5 stars
I LOVE THIS APP
I saw someone on Reddit recommended this app for college students and I absolutely love it, all the other apps keep asking for you to pay for more and more all these subscriptions this is like the 20th calendar app I downloaded, hoping for luck and it was all worth it, especially as a college student. You have so many helping me so much stay organized with all my assignments and everything and I just love all the features here thank you so much creators for making this app, i appreciate you all for your hard work!
Doesn’t sync across devices
It syncs fine for a couple of weeks but then breaks again for several months
Good, I but not perfect
Pretty good. I wish it had a calendar that broke up the day by time, basically in more detail. It also feels like it doesn’t have a good system of reminders and stuff, and I think i forget about it half the time. I like the amount of options it has and the way you can slide to “check” things off your to do list. But I think I really just want a physical planner, I forget about the app and find it annoying to get on my phone every time I want to add something.

After the most recent update I can no longer see my calendar, and can’t sort my assignments by class/priority/etc. Up until this update it was the best app, especially for online school.
This app is almost perfect!! Almost
I love this app and it help me stay on track. However I wish they added these features that would make the app 100% better. 1) in the task tab (where it shows all the things you need to do), I wish it was divided in weekly sections, instead of all in one block /list. This way, users can get a feeling of accomplishment and better organization: “okay I completed this week’s work. Let me start on next week’s.” But instead it feels like the work is never ending bc there so many things within just one list. 2) i wish for the “completed “ switch, I wish there was also bar that you can move to determine what percent of the assignment have you done “10 percent completed” 3) I wish there was a checklist you can add to each task, that way you can break down the work 4) it would be cool to add multiple assignments for a class in one go instead of adding each assignment one by one. 5) lastly, for assignments that have a specific time due (due at 9:30 pm), i wish you can see on the overall list when each assignment is due when entered to the app, instead of clicking each assignment individually to check. I love that app and don’t really feeling downloading multiple apps and re-adding each assignment due date, so imma just stick with this one!
Big Fan
I’ve been using this since my sixth grade history teacher introduced the class to it! Now I’m a freshmen in college and still love MyHomework. Super helpful for organizing your assignments by class, due date, and priority.
Premium ruined it
Was a great app, especially because it worked on my laptop but now you can’t go to any page without a constant pop up asking to upgrade to premium. I get you have costs and what not but every time you click the home button? Uninstalled.
very helpful
i’ve been using this app for a little while now and it works so well, and is very helpful. you also get access to a lot of things for free that many apps would put a paywall. my one issue is that the app on my phone won’t sync up with the app on my watch - it’ll tell me i have something due that i marked completed. even if i mark it completed on my watch it’ll just reappear. the watch app will also make like 5 copies of one assignment for some reason. but just looking at functionality on a phone or a computer, it works amazingly
Really buggy
I just downloaded to the newest update and now the app is insanely buggy. The buttons at the top don’t even show up so I can’t switch between options. Please fix!
Love this app, but…..
I wish we could archive classes. It would be helpful if enrolled in a class but had to drop it and take it next semester.
My opinion
I tried using this app in the past when I was in my 20s in community college and I gotta say it really helped me out. I had a paper planner too, but it helped me remind me of my turning dates and everything for homework so whoever created this app, good job it was awesome. Very helpful.
Barely works
Have been using this app for a long time, but it has been crashing constantly recently. I have been unable to even click on assignments I created and mark them as completed without closing and opening the app at least 4 times.
Love this app
I love this app and have been using (and paying for it) it for years. For context I am in college and love the organizational aspect of the app! Unfortunately the last few months it has been “laggy” and hard to use. I contacted customer support and have yet to hear anything back from them and do not see an update. Please fix the lagging issue!
not working
somehow i can’t get into my account keep trying to log in but it says it’s incorrect but when i try on the website it works straight away.
Can't Switch Between Tabs
I've been using myHomework for about 6 years now and after the recent Mac update to the app I can no longer switch between the calendar, home, and homework pages. I have to go into the full screen mode to get the pages to switch, and if I exit full screen then the app goes back to not working.

It was Great until I needed it
This app was wonderful at the beginning. I spent 4 hours meticulously adding all of my assignments, projects, readings and their due dates for 3 classes to the app. All was fine until 2 minutes later I needed to add another detail to an assignment and I noticed that over 75% of all of that work was gone with no trace. I was a little heartbroken, I’ll admit. I’ll make sure to thoroughly read through the reviews next time 🫠

I’m usually not one for making a review but i have to pmo this app frfr like its really good for keeping all your assignments in one place, I personally like the feature where it syncs between all your devices including your phone, so i can legit be in any class just adding any assignments directly from my phone. Personally i prefer the payed option its like $5 PER YEAR which is really nothing or .60 cents per month which i would gladly pay to keep my hw and other stuff organized!!!! PMO!!
App is great but NO WIDGET and NO SUPPORT
App is great but there is not a widget like it says. The website talks about iOS 7…. They are just a little bit behind! If you email support they will never ever get back to you. It’s been over two weeks with no response.
Easy to use but can't change the time
I am in 6th grade and I like using this app. This is my first calender application and it works well for me. The only problem is I cant change the time for a class. It seems that there is a glitch and all clases are 9:00 - 10:00 am when using the time based schedule.
No notifications
This is actually a really great app but recently it’s stopped sending me notifications. When I go into settings > notifications, the app isn’t listed and so I haven’t been able to turn them on. Is there a way to fix this?

This app is nice and helpful, I like how it syncs across my devices but I really miss the points system. The button to activate it on the computer is constantly stuck on loading and on the mobile app it kicks you out and shuts down the app when you select to view the points amount. I would be so happy if it could be brought back! Otherwise, great app.

FREEZES/CRASHES CONSTANTLY. (8/30/23)
1️⃣Glitch: Manual due dates placed are changing by themselves whenever you edit details. 2️⃣Constant lag, the app freezes/crashes randomly, and worse—when frozen, it still registers taps, so if your keep on taping to make a new assignment (for example)…you’ll end up with 10 blank ones by the time the app unfreezes. 3️⃣When typing in the “additional information” section (which is at the very bottom) when editing/creating an assignment…the keyboard (on the screen, I’m using an iPhone Xs Max) eventually blocks the screen where I’m typing—the screen can’t go scroll up higher, please make it so, so that I can see where I’m typing in that area.
Minor Bug But Great App
I find this app extremely helpful, no others have helped me keep track of my course load as well as this. I have used the app for about a year now, the only issue is that I’ve never been able to consistently use the file features (ie., uploading files to the app). It consistently crashes or freezes when trying to do this. Aside from that it’s great.
If won’t load anything on my watch
I just downloaded this app and added all of my homework. I tried to look at them through my watch but it would just keep going black. How is that meant to help me? It needs to be fixed!
issues with widgets
i recently got the premium version of this app and it said that it has widgets but i cant add it onto my homescreen or lockscreen? i have ios 16.3.1. i’ve been trying to figure out how to add this app as a widget but whenever i try there’s no option for it
Easy for tracking homework
I really appreciate this tool. I don’t always have my planner on me so being able to quick check what is coming up is really helpful. Also, it is great to mark something as complete (it’s a part of my homework process now!) and seeing what all I have accomplished and how much farther I have to go. I recommend it for a great basic homework tracker!

i really like this app but all the themes are locked by a paywall, the widget which me and a lot of other people wouldve really liked is also blocked by paywall. its so annoying but other than that the app is good. just a lot of things blocked by paywall but mainly minor things and nothing really major. plus anytime i click on something related to points like the 20 beside the themes or the “view my points” the app crashes on me. i have a 15.04 apple ipad so i dont get it

New user, premium probably not worth it
New user here. So far it seems pretty good. Paid for premium as it said calendar integration would be possible and that doesn’t do what I expected. Premium doesn’t seem to add much. It’s otherwise functional. I like the suggestion someone else made of having a “to do”scratchpad. I also think it could be a little prettier. It’s a very basic design. It is more functional on my PC than my iPhone …setting the date and time on my iPhone is annoying (scrolling those time wheels …ugh…and they are way off in the corner)
