Review
Very helpful for school and keeping my stuff organized
Gave it a try, but unusable.
I downloaded on two Macs and couldn’t even get through the process of adding my schedule without having to force close in Activity Monitor many times. Gave up after having to force close through Activity Monitor for the fifth time and only on my third class.
Simple and perfect, just one small thing…
I love using this planner in college. It is not overly complicated and it’s easy to add and remove things. I am on Mac btw. My only complaint is the new update which made the sidebar for the app version permanent so I wish there is a retractable option made in settings but otherwise GREAT APP!
Todavía tiene algunos errores
Estaría estupendo que tuviera disponible app para Apple Watch.
Great App!!
I have tried so many different apps. This one has been by far the easiest and cheapest. Th e only thing I would ask for if they could have a subsection for a class. Many science classes have labs that are a part of the class but are separated in grades and affect your overall grade. It would make calculations much easier for me. I would also recommend an option for classes that use points instead of percentages and the option to remove the classes when it’s exam day during the semester. Other than that, I would recommend this to others.
Love powerplanner
I swear if this app ever shuts down i’m gonna crash out. I have used this all throughout undergrad and am currently earning my doctorate with this app by my side. I have it on my computer and phone so i know all my deadlines
I love the mobile version, but Mac version is not usable
I’m glad this app finally comes macOS. However, I feel really disappointment that the app always crashed instantly after running it. Hope the developer could fix the problem soon.
Love this planner!
This planner is great, I have used it for years and I have recommended it to so many people! Two things that would make it even better would be adding a search feature to search for assignments or events that are already on my calendar, and also adding an option to repeat annually. But otherwise I love it!!
Notificaciones, widgets e idioma
the best
Best homework planner app.. undergrad, grad school, + beyond
Issues all around
I tried to submit a ticket through app support, but that didn't work. Also, I'm having issues deleting things off the schedule, the pop up box. never goes away and I can't put things on the schedule for future semesters that I'm trying to plan.
Simple, Lovely.
It’s simple and that’s all I ask and love it for. Just PLEASE make a compatible Mac version? It works well on Mac too but there are more glitches on Mac than iOS since it wasn’t created with Mac in mind. Other than that, thank you creator.
Generally great
Love the app for the most part, but there is no way to delete classes (like for if you have a day off) or remove classes for a week (for like fall break), which throws off which week it is (A/B)
Got me through high school!
Power Planner was so helpful for keeping track of all my homework in high school, and it even told me what grade I needed to get on exams to keep an A in classes so I didn’t have to worry as much about some classes! The widgets are super useful too!
Latest update broke the app
I cannot view, edit, or manage any tasks created before the update. Don’t download until fixed
I love this app! But…
Yes, I love this app and how feature packed it is, it’s very useful, especially during high school. However, a native app for Mac would be so useful, since I alternate between my Windows Laptop and my Mac Mini daily. And also, not only home screen widgets, but Lock Screen widgets as well would be nice. I know it might take a while to implement as an independent developer, but I hope you take my feedback into consideration. Thanks!
Awesome Service
I highly recommend this planner tool to everyone. It offers many unique features like customizing class color schemes, organizing your lists into tasks/events/holidays. And is completely flexible to a busy schedule. It is student-friendly with many ways to keep track of tasks (calendar, agenda, etc). Plus, customer service is fantastic. If there are glitches, they are quick to fix them! Though there are some in-app purchases for a premium account, it is overall worth downloading.
Custom Reminder
Please have a custom reminder in which we can choose what specific date and time the app will remind us about our upcoming class and tasks that are due. I hate it when you can only turn the reminder on and the time is already fixed.
I like the app a lot. I also have a suggestion
I really like that the app has a simple layout which allows me to take a good look at my schedule without mixing things up. I want to suggest if it’s possible to make the subjects/classes and all their details for the semester show on the same page so that there isn’t too much going back and forth just to check the details of classes entered for a semester. This could be better implemented for iPads seeing that they have large screens and can display more data at a time in a comprehensive manner.
Great app!
Makes my life so much easier
Amazing! But need help...
I love this app it is perfect for keeping me organized in university. So much so I purchased the pro version! I created a new semester so I could keep track of my grades for semester two (current semester) but can’t find a way to move all my classes and assignments to the second semester. Is there a way to do this or do I have to recreate the classes and assignments again?
Great alternative to previous app
I switched to this app after my old app that I have used since hs released a new update that was terrible. Power planner has been a great alternative and I see myself purchasing the premium option in the future! The only thing i wish it did was give reminders 15 minutes before events and also not place task on the calendar. Thank you!
Thank You!
This app has helped me so much in school, I love the color coding and how personalized you can make it. It’s super easy to figure out.
Does not sync
Why it does not sync with my account done thru windows 10
its a pretty solid app!
thank you for developing such a nice app it needs some improvements, i hope they’ll be included soon in the future updates - more customization options - more themes - option to change the auto dark mode display - more customised swipe actions - maybe some animations to make the home page and the using experience more fun - add task/event without the need to click the + button ( long press or just tap on the day ) - more options to the kind of input ( exam, assignment,….) - add customised badges ( referring to the number tasks, events, exams, or all )
The Gold Standard App for a Planner
Getting straight to the positives, this app is made very precisely and deliberately with how people would actually interact and use a planner app. The user interface is just as I would want it for an ideal planner app, and not only is it clean, but also functional and intuitive. The app has a one-time purchase which is extremely affordable. I do not throw such praise casually unless it is well-deserved, so kudos to the developer. I have used it for a while, and I am glad there is now a Mac version.
No widget which is most important
this app is not providing widget which is actually key and important feature of planner. Hoping for development sooner!
Power planner
Good stuff would love to see an option where you can in large the table size.
No ads :)
It allows me to plan my events, homework, and classes with no ads so automatic 5 stars
Doesn't work?
I love the app when I use it on my laptop, but because my computer is an older generation the battery isn't at it's strongest so it is not mobile. I was quite excited to hear that I could have this app on my iPhone, but it is refusing to download onto my phone. (I have more than enough storage to hold it). Kinda annoying and not to happy with this app anymore.
Good app but bugs noticed in "details" section of a task
This hopefully reaches the creators. The app is amazing and I love it but whenever I type in the "details" section of a task, my words / text will get deleted in real time, or it will simply not type out. Whenever I try to add a space it will delete the text. It's weird and annoying. I have to write in a seperate notepad then copy and paste it into the app's detail section for a task. Device used: Mac.
Developer here!
Thanks to everyone using Power Planner! I built this for myself years ago in college, but continue maintaining it for all of you!
Widgets?
I love this app and would highly recommend! I have purchased the pro version as well and it’s been great with keeping me organized with school. The fact that this app is available on multiple platforms as well is super great as I have a Windows laptop, Samsung phone, and an iPad. However, on my phone I have have a schedule widget and an agenda widget and I would love to see some sort of useful widget on iOS as well! Until widget support comes, it will be 4 stars from me.
