Laggy
Used to love playing this game, but now the game lags after two or three words typed in. End up having to restart to try to play. Cumbersome and I just shut it down. It’s a real shame.
Game keeps freezing
I’ve had this app for years and for the last few months it’s been freezing. Up till now it would have been five stars. Every response is ‘contact us through the app.’ I did, nothing has changed.
Was my favorite
This game has always been my favorite to play on my phone. Not anymore. The whole thing keeps locking up and won't work. I have deleted it twice now and erased all my high score to see if that would fix it. It hasn't!! Is there something that can be done about this issue or is this game just too old to be played anymore?

I have tried five times to move to the next level. Each time I got an ad that continued until I opted out of the game. The ads did not respond to the X which would normally end them.
Used to be Fun!
Have loved this game for years, but the never ending ads that won’t turn off have ruined it. Looking for a new game. I’d pay to stop the ads!!
Long Time Fan
I’ve had this game downloaded on my phone and/or iPad for at least 15 years. I had gotten up to level 839, playing off and on over the years. I was so proud of my high score. But one night, I played while I was extremely sleepy. By the time I woke up, the timer had gone to zero and I had no choice but to start over from zero. That was I’m January of this year (26). But my point is, a LOT of games come and go, but this one will ALWAYS be a staple for me. It’s simple and not flashy and it keeps my brain fresh lol. It’s more than one of my favs, it’s like an old friend.

I’ve had this app for well over ten years, always a go to. Now it glitches constantly. Very disappointing.

Wish there was a paid version with NO ads. Spend 1/2 my time watching ads to get to a new game. Ugh!
Literally my favorite bedtime game
I just honestly want to say thank you to whomever created this app. I play this every dang night and basically can do it with my eyes closed at this point. I love how simple it is. I love how zen it is. There is a timer but you can make it as easy or as challenging for yourself as you want. This app is probably helping me beat dementia and whatever other brain health things I could be experiencing if it weren’t for this simple, wonderful little game lol. I have played it for years, and hope to play it for many more. It’s been a bit buggy and glitchy lately. I really hope it can be fixed. The game now often freezes up and lags randomly. Either way though, I love this game so much I’ll play it as long as I can lol. Thanks for giving me this. 🫡✨🥰 Sincerely, a 31 year old hippy gal who just loves a good old fashioned puzzle
Ads Make it Unplayable
I played this game for years and decided to play again. It puts you in a loop of ads you can’t escape from. Such a greedy shame.

Love the game but keeps freezing up. Deleted and reinstalled but after a while it started doing it again. Also, I know ads are revenue, but makes it difficult to play when they last so long

UPDATE: This game has been buggy last few months as it stuck on timer but I’d wait it out as love the game. Worked with the buggies yesterday but today it won’t even open I get a black screen and eventually it pops me out or I have to manually close as it will lock up my phone. Please fix the game. Since last update it now allows one word then screen freezes up. I either must wait sometimes two minutes bc if I go out fermenter game it will freeze again after entering one word. The ads won’t close out so o never even play unless off WiFi now so rarely. Sad. I used to love this app.

After the last bug fix the words stick and do not open inspite of the word being right.

This game lags TERRIBLY. I don’t know why but it is suddenly hanging and it drives me crazy. It also has started affecting my score which is very frustrating. PLEASE FIX IT. My WIFI is great so don’t blame that.

Latest update causes issues/lots of ads
Changed review to one star. Now eight months and the game is still not fixed. The company that owns it is garbage. Only worried about collecting ad revenue and not actually being able to play the game. I am giving one star because I can’t give zero or negative stars. This used to be my favorite game but the most recent update has broken the game. It constantly freezes about every minute or so for a minute or longer then plays for another minute or so before freezing again. This update runs ads after every round now. I now play without Wi-Fi or cell data on to avoid the incessant ads but the freezing continues. Do not download this game.

15 years later the app now has issues
I’ve had this app since 2011 and it has been my go to many many times. But over the last several months this app has frozen a number of times. And now in June, this app now has ads when I paid for the ads to be removed way back in 2011. So I don’t know what’s going on, but this is driving me crazy. I really want to see the app fixed so it goes back to no ads (like my purchase ) and not freezing. I’m only giving two stars, but I’m thinking I should be doing one only because the app is currently unplayable with all the freezing.
Freezes a lot!
This used to be my favorite app game but it’s gone downhill over the years. The app freezes a lot which is irritating for a game that has timed levels. You basically have to stare at the screen until it unfreezes or you lose time. Or just shut the app and forget playing at all.
New version
I didn’t like the new version at all but it looks like they revised again and it’s working much better now. Thanks

Totally unusable.
Good game but too many ads
The earlier versions did have ads. Then suddenly after an update there were ads, very noisy ads whose sound can be turned off. Now there is often more than one ad between each game. Slows down the playing time and interrupts the flow. The noisy ads make it impossible to play in public spaces. Not what I originally signed up for. An ad free version would be very appreciated.
Doesn’t work anymore
I liked the simplicity of this game and have been playing it for a few years. About six months ago this app stopped working. It freezes up, is non responsive after just a few seconds. It is non functional.

Update (part 2) - thanks for listening to our concerns over game play and getting things back to normal again. For those that hate ads - too bad but what do you expect for free. Perhaps the developer could offer an ad free version for purchase? Thanks Team. Well done. Update to previous. The game now works after updating to current iOS. However, gameplay is not as smooth as previous versions of game. Now whenever you enter a word, the deck just returns to the same order as when the round opens. It used to hold the order of the letters of the word just entered to make it easier to repeat for plurals and derivative words. I hope you fix this soon. Previous review: I’ve enjoyed this game for many years. Unfortunately it is crashing on my phone since it updated yesterday. I’m currently using iOS 13.6.1 on an iPhone Xs. Hopefully this can be fixed quickly....

This used to be a fun game, despite the ads. Then recently it started regularly freezing up to the point where it’s no longer playable on my iPhone. Oh well! Hope that gets fixed someday.

Sux
This app is offensive. The ads are overpowering and sometimes quit you out of the game. They have gotten much worse lately. Often they force you to go to the App Store for an app I would never buy. I would be happy to pay for an ad free version but alas, it is not available. I do like the ability to look words up in game but that won’t keep me from deleting the game.
Fun, but...
It's a fun app that I've been playing now for many years, but there's just one thing that bothers me. The ads. They used to only come up like every 3 or 4 games, but now they come up after every game. That irks me because the only thing that changed was going from a 32bit game to 64bit. That's all. No updated features. If you can handle ads, then I say go ahead and download it because you won't be disappointed.
Ad insanity + crashing
Game freezing makes it basically impossible to play. Can you curtail this ? It essentially makes YOUR game useless...
Game freezes all the time
I’ve enjoyed this game for years and with the most recent iOS update, the game now freezes constantly. It’s just not playable anymore. I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions the game company provided, but the freezing did not improve. Looking for a replacement game now.
New format ...😩
I don’t like the new format at all , used to play a lot but don’t now , totals don’t add as you go, harder to push letters in place Please revert back to old way
Unplayable now since the update..😡
Since the update, pressing on a letter doesn’t work half of the time, you have to go back and press it again. And…the ads get into a loop and stops you from accessing the game…I loved this game before for years, and now…unplayable! That sucks!
Great game lots of ads
I’ve been enjoying word warp for years. A quick few rounds every day. Reliable, fast, good flow of playing games. Only recently interrupted by annoying ads that I have to pause and wait to get rid of them. Is there an ad free version?
Ads make it unplayable
I cant with the ads on this app anymore. I have had this app for i dont know how many years and has been one i always play. However i cant deal with the obnoxious inescapable ads anymore and have deleted it and am looking for similar but sane.
So many ads
Great game. Used to play it all the time and now the ads are constant. The game hasn’t changed in many years so not sure why “development” is the reason for all of them. Give people the option to buy it without ads if you’re looking for revenue.
Was great
Change it back. The way that the letters don’t rearrange after finding a word disrupts the gameplay. 5/5 if you fix it. BTW, if something’s not broken don’t fix it.
Ads have ruined this app
This used to be my go to game for several years. Now they have ads after every single round, and it’s annoying. An ad after every few rounds is fine, but after every single round?? It’s to the point where a third of my time is waiting for ads to finish. I’m done with this game and will uninstall. Such a shame.
An Excellent App
This is one of the better Apps I have used to solve jumble word puzzles. Quite addictive. Would have given 5 stars but for the fact that many words that I know do not figure in the Apps dictionary. So sometimes it is quite galling. Perhaps the Developers will expand the options in future versions.
Sometime progress ruins the thing it tries to improve.
They had a wonderful little app here and they insisted on ruining it. That may be a symptom of our new world.
WSO0 ad locks
Game is great and I get ads are a part of the price for playing for free but the World Series of Poker Ads don’t let you close when they’re done meaning you have to close the app and hope it doesn’t pop up again when you open it because of it does you have to close and try again. Super annoying and on principle I’d never use the WSOP app and am considering stopping use if Word Warp because it is THAT annoying. Don’t let an advertiser ruin your app!
