Jumpy cards
This has been fix, nice job
Latest update
Is very slow. Impossible to play. The lag is super annoying
Pleasing
Well explained, nice layout. Fun.
Normally this would be a six star review, but the latest update keeps crashing.
Solebon Solitaire is by far the best solitaire app in the world. I have played it for years going back to Palm Pilot days. Sadly the latest update (Aug 19 2026) keeps crashing. 😢
Random format
Random changes in format make play difficult
The Best
This is the solitaire I always go back to.
Solebon
The new “Gold” appearance is impossible for me to distinguish one card and suit from another. I am unable to play this game. How do I revert to the original cards?
Visiting Strange Websites?
I’ve had this for years and gameplay is great! I have Xfinity as an interface provider and when I played, I started receiving notifications that my phone was trying to go to strange websites and they were blocked by Xfinity. I decided to delete this game and I stopped getting those notifications. Be wary…
Was great
10 times harder to run it then before
AI?!
What is this…?! I know what my statistics, IRL, should be playing solitaire draw one with a real deck of cards. Since AI has become the norm, I'm suspicious that this game is using it to generate the deals for solitaire, draw one. It is literally getting harder and harder to win a game that I should be able to win, >75 to 80% of the time. Stop using machine intelligence for every freaking thing. Sheesh.
Problem quickly resolved!
I had problems with ads appearing after I paid to be ad-free. In less than 30 minutes, they replied and said that I had the wrong version. They provided a link and the new version is great!
Awful gold
I did the suggested upgrade to the gold and it is hateful. I can’t distinguish to see the cards at all. How do I get back to the older game?
Would’ve been 5 stars…
I can’t turn off the tips, they pop up like bad mushrooms (otherwise I like the app)
My favorite game app
Perfect for when you need a quick distraction. Great variety of games, well designed and never a glitch. The only Solitaire I will use.
Latest update issue
The latest update seems to have a problem with the game timer. It works fine as long as you’re playing, but at some point, it keeps on counting so all of my games. Be taking over an hour even if I haven’t been playing them that long. Other than that, it’s been a great app and I’ve had it for years
Love
Play it a lot
Ads ruined this game
I have played this for hours 5211 games it’s been great. But when I installed on new iPhone the ads are the most intrusive I have ever seen. Sometimes I have to shut down the app together out of the ad.
Still the best
Just works
Great app, lousy display
In iOS 18 and iPad Air 13 the cards are tiny, teeny tiny. eenie weenie teeny tiny. Even zoomed-in, half the screen is green table. You can space the cards out, but they don’t get any bigger. Was my fave to play, not now. It’s kind-of annoying, so I quit. You don’t see a lot of great apps made awful, but Solebon did it.
Great app, new issue despite otherwise good updates.
Update August 2025: after closing the app, games with a few moves vanish & a new deal appears. Changed from 5 to 3 stars till it’s fixed. Update: After leaving the review blow this one, and after reaching out via email (to which they responded), the developer actually addressed the exact issue with card sizes that I had. The best solitaire app on the store, and the developer actually listens to user feedback. Can’t beat that! The classic mode is what I prefer. That said, why force a huge card size? You used to have an option. Screen too cluttered! Please bring back card size option!
Review
Good great
is not free
They charged me without consulting me
Clean and simple.
One of the great long-standing apps. Slick and fast. Could use new or customizable multi-touch gestures (like 3 fingers to autoplay on iPad or change double tap to autoplay on iPhone), but that’s the only feature I’d really add.
Nagging app begging for money
The app will sometimes constantly nag in the middle of games trying to get you by mistake to send the developer money as he apparently realised he does not get subscription money for the app. It was initially a nice app, but now it makes you think if maybe you should get another app after all.
Why do my games now reset?
I never write reviews, and if I had written this 2 weeks ago (before the last update), it would have been 5 stars, but I now have to give it 3, and even contemplate stop playing because now ongoing games reset after some period of time. I have a whole playing style that includes sets to 21 games won, and i do this throughout the week. And now every day when I come back to the game, the cards are reset. Why did you do this? There have been times in the past where I have left a game for days/weeks/months, and when I return the cards are how they were left. No longer! Please undo this change.
The best card game ever!
Lots of games, no adds. It’s perfect! I have been playing it for years; it’s the only card game I play. Love it
Version 9.0 is off putting
Please restore the smaller cards for those who have played for years and don’t need a new look.
So ugly after the update!
Used to be one of my favorite no frills game app, now this latest update has ugly looking cards, like some cheap knock off! Hideous. And yes, I did put everything in the game settings to Classic mode, etc
Good …not great
I mostly play Freecell which has a couple of problems. When there are 2 options, Tap to play always moves the card or stack to the longest column (vice the shortest). And the scoring system overly rewards speed against fewest moves. Anybody can prod quickly but you need forethought to beat the existing least moves score! Both of these are annoying enough to reduce the star rating. Other than that a good solitaire implementation with an excellent variety of games!
I’m game purchase pop ups
I’ve been playing this game for years and bought it soon after I started playing. I really enjoy the card games and play most days. Sadly the new update shows nag screens prompting you to pay to keep your winning streak. Not what I want to see in a paid for game. I just want to play cards. If this stupid money grabbing continues this game will be deleted and replaced. Unhappy customer.
Completely happy with this one
I’ve spent many more hours with this, over many years, than I ever want to calculate. i like everything about it, from its graphic design to its many customizations.
Bigger not better
I love this game but version 9.0 is awful. Please bring back smaller cards.
Don’t like the new splash screen —too slow
Not sure why this was added. Seemed much faster launching before the latest update (June 2019). Hope this gets fixed. Overall a good app though.
Freezing when you try to deal a new hand
I’ve been finding that when I can’t get a game out and try to deal a new hand the app freezes.
Stop prompting for reviews
Stop prompting for reviews every week
Lots of Games
A lot of games. Can be played offline. I like the stats kept. I play on planes all the time.
Disappointment
I used to love this game and I have had it for years. However, now after every winning game there is a stupid ad which I inadvertently click on of course. It’s extremely annoying so I’ve had to delete this app. I guess I will have to find another one and promote it instead. Sad to see you go Solebon. Au revoir!
Solebon solitaire
Preferred the old version! Demon is as nasty as ever.... What’s with the long loading screen?
Great game, but for the new graphics
Great app with many games to challenge or occupy time with. New graphics are terrible though, bring back the old or make it an optional look...
Shouldn't have updated
I hadn't updated this app in years, as I never liked the sound of most of the "improvements" that were being implemented, but eventually relented. I wish I'd not bothered. While the game looks nicer, all the online stats and being able to select whether you want every deal to be winnable are completely unnecessary. This was a perfect, simple five star card game, but it's now a three star one with all its superfluous nonsense. There's also an annoying bug where the screen is unresponsive nine times out of ten when opening the app, meaning it has to be force closed and reopened.
Great Games!
This is the best set of solitaire games in the App Store. The addition of the winnable games feature is great. I especially like the Bakers game. It has is the most interesting and doesn’t get boring!
Solebon
Was good now I must buy an add on to play!!!!! Delete this app.
Excellent
Very well implemented with a great variety of forms of Solitaire. Actively maintained.
Cards
Why change the look of the cards. Don’t try and fix what isn’t broken! Find it difficult to view and focus on each one. Spoiled a relaxing game for me
Rules have changed
You've changed Penguin! I deleted this app from my phone this morning as I'd been playing it too much - over 200 rounds of Penguin in the last few days. I've just re-added it, and the rules have changed (as has the look of the cards, not keen at all but guess I'll get used to it). Used to be able to move a sequence of cards into the reserve pile but now no longer able to do this - why is that?
Never gets old
This has been a staple app on my phone for years. Highly recommend it.
One Star
Because they constantly annoy you with request to rate them.
Excellent
Excellent little time filler. Had this for some years, love the Auto-Play-on-Click.
What changed?
All of a sudden won’t allow a string to be transferred to a different column!!! Please fix ASAP.
Super!*****
Tolle App.
