What people like
- Lots of different card game variations
- Challenging but still fun to play
- Great way to pass time anywhere
What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- You might only win two out of ten games
- Cards freeze or won't stick in place
Great Game
I play this all the time.
Instructions wrong
Russian solitaire how to play says alternate color. Game will not let me do that. I have to build by suit on both tableau and foundation Options allow me to turn off effects like “animate deal” but now there’s an animate on launch and no way to shut it off. Just a small annoyance but just enough to make me not want to open the game.
Challenging
Contains enough solitare games to keep you entertained, busy and challenged forever. A real brain exercise that provides enjoyment as well.
Crashes
Crashes every time you click on “Options” Mac OS 26.4.1
Forty thieves
A very difficult game takes some concentration . Goo game. I love this game as it challenges me.
Missing Card
I have been playing Spider Solitaire on my macBook since I bought it in February of 2026 and have thoroughly enjoyed it. TodayI ended up with just enough cards to fill in the last blank slot. However, there was an extra Q and was missing the 9 from the deck. This has never happened to me before or in the years that I played Spider Solitaire on my PC systems. How could this happen?
Not Fun
You might win 2 out of 10 games.
Solitaire games are great
I enjoy the variations of the game. Although a few of the games have errors when selected and I’m not able to play them. But over all the games are fun to play.
Forty thieves noise
The new version is unpleasant with all the noise features added, hopefully this will be fixed soon. The older version was great.
klondike
Game is OK, but cards are too large. Can't see the bottom cards in a stack.
Some way to spend time.
A good way to pass time in an airport.
Ray
This is a very fun version of solitaire.
Bold cards
It updated once and had great outlined bold cards and then 10 hours later another update came out and now the bold cards are gone. Bring back the bold!!!!
My review
All good games
OVERALL
IT’S OK,NOTHING MORE
Forty thieves steals time
Love this game
Gardening Grandma
New version has become pay only. Not prepared to do that so no longer play this make of Forty Thieves. A mean, retrograde step.
Very difficult
This game continues to be very difficult and very challenging. Can’t say I enjoy playing but continue anyway. Can be addictive.
Why are there ads?
I paid a premium for no ads and suddenly after the last update I am getting ads again. Fix this please.
Review
Sometimes it is impossible to win and it is really anoying
Love it!
Hard enough to challenge, but still able to win. 😊👍
Update unable to play from Apple Music when forty thieves open
Do not like the “jerky movements” of the cards hard on the eyes
Game layout
I love the challenge of this game, however it would make play much easier if the stock pile of cards was at the bottom of the screen. As it is you have to reach over, this requires more arm movement and also covers the face up card. Mal..
A challenging game
Forty Thieves can be frustratingly hard and getting it to go out feels like a real achievement. Unfortunately this version is slightly spoiled by the way the whole screen moves if you aren't careful so I can't give it five stars. Hopefully this bug will be sorted soon.
Ok
It’s ok
challenging
This game is partly luck and partly skill. Experience does help you improve your win percentage; but getting good cards is important too. This is my most favorite card game.
CLEAN UP YOUR ACT
Give us a FAIR deal. Nobody likes playing a rigged hand !!! Re: Your reply to this review. If I can make the effort to write a constructive and sensible review to help you improve your product, then at least you can send me a sensible reply. I am offended.
Love these games
Addicted to these games but currently very frustrated that I can’t get cards to stick. I’m particularly having trouble with accordion. When I move them the just return to their original position and I have to try several times before they stay where I actually want them to. Using fully updated IPhone XR.
Spoiled
Latest version constantly pauses.
Timer
The timer shouldn’t begin until the first card is moved.
Good Collection of Games
I haven’t had any problems with this app since a few updates back. I enjoy playing the games, and I especially enjoy the variety. It offers games that I hadn’t heard of since I was a kid fifty years ago and we played with real paper cards. I recommend this app. It will keep you busy for quite a while just trying out new games. It’s a lot of fun.
Boring
One dimensional boring game with too many annoying pop ups that ruin any wish to play it
Forty thieves
Good game
Good game
Very relaxing game ease the stress away
1 Flaw - Otherwise Great
Works great and if they fix the ability to move a stack of cards based on open space - it will be perfect.
Fascinating group of solitaire games
Devilishly tricky and well designed for a lot of fun. I wonder if I will ever master 40 Thieves.
Too many ads
Good game ruined by all the ads. Please give us the option to buy an ad free version. I'm ready to stop using the app because of all the ads. Just deleted the game - sick of the ads!
Hearts review
Great game, plays well.
Nice game
Lots of fun, no glitches, ads are not intrusive. Good game guys.
Not bad
Good sets of games, but so many bugs that need fixing!!
Very enjoyable
Very enjoyable would recommend
Solitaire
Challenging but not too difficult, addictive. There are a few glitches where the cards freeze, but other than that, it's pretty good.
Not as good as osx app
It's a bit buggy. Has an issue with the 2 of diamonds and pressing automatic will move it to the top even if the Ace isn't there. I reported the bug but it never got fixed Adverts are annoying but you can lose them if you disconnect from the net Can be difficult to drag cards outside the screen area and the app doesn't make best use of screen real estate Would be nice if tapping a card would move it to any available card and not just the top row
