A beautiful game
This game was amazing! I loved the art and the peaceful music. The concept was so cool. I would highly recommend this game. Kudos to the designers. You clearly put a lot of heart and soul into this game and it was a joy to play.
Another disgruntled kid story
Disappointment started on the opening screen. Another sad story about a disgruntled child. Ugh. Just No.
Challenging
Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that I’m personally finding it a little too challenging, to the point it’s less fun. However, I will persevere and see how it goes. It’s a very beautiful game with awesome sound too. Hopefully I’ll get the hang of it more as I go.

Great game!
This was a really fun, unique puzzle game. The paper folding mechanic was interesting and fun. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible, new elements were added to keep it fresh. The game was nice and long, i enjoyed it a ton.

Good
I really enjoyed this as another monument valley like game the story wasn’t my favourite but the puzzles were lots of fun

Beautifully crafted puzzle
Such a good game! I wish it was longer. It’s a puzzle and adventure game. You basically have a double sided board that you can fold (like origami) to create new paths. And the art is so amazing and peaceful. If you like puzzles, this is such a unique concept and once you understand the concept it’s really fun!

No sound?
It seems it should have sound, but nothing works for me on my iPhone 12.
Touch controls finicky
Awesome concept. But with gesture controls now a thing, it is quite difficult to control the folding without swiping the menu to appear or close the game. Would be better fit for an iPad.

great game with some technical problems
This is a great game of space puzzle, making me remind of monument valley series, with impressive pictures and enjoyable music. But when I was playing half of it, it told me to log into Netflix again. I did log into Netflix official website again, but still couldn’t log in paper trails, which made me uninstall it, and downloaded it again. Then, I finally successfully logged in this game but no data saved, and I needed to start from the very beginning, which made me out of patience, and just wanna drop it.
No idea!
Hints and tips are needed! I have no idea what I’m doing…
Help there’s a glitch on the first level
There’s a glitch right when you enter the game in which the tutorial tells you to fold the paper to make a bridge but the step quickly moves on and you aren’t able to fold the paper. Pls fix!
Part 2?
Is there a part 2 of this game? Do we ever figure out what happened to her brother?

Mostly good, a little buggy
The game mechanic is fun and they do a lot of interesting variations on it. The problems, on my old iPad5: 1. In the bits between chapters, it freezes if you fold the picture in half horizontally. I missed the big reveal in the plot. (If there was no big reveal, that’s lousy storytelling.) 2. If you try to go to the Autumn chapter, it takes you to the Ruins chapter. I played the Ruins chapter 5 times trying to find the missing Autumn origami. 3. They don’t show you chapter titles inside the game, the chapters are not numbered, and the map of chapters isn’t linear. Figuring out the sequence of chapters isn’t easy if you don’t check the map and take note the first time around.
Very strange puzzle adventure game
I enjoy puzzle games and I also enjoy adventure games. Unfortunately I don’t enjoy playing whatever Paper Trail is supposed to be. The controls are poor and I often can’t tell if I am stuck due to not aligning the folds properly or it really is meant to be a puzzle. The story sounds interesting but I it isn’t enough for me to put up with the frustrating gameplay.
AMAZING!!!!!!
Beautifully designed!!!! Love the sound of the paper folding😻😊
Glitches make it unplayable
This was disappointing because I enjoyed the gameplay. The art and sound are also lovely. But when I log in, it now gives me an all black screen (with sound!) and no amount or restarting/rebooting will fix it.
If there was stage selection it’d be perfect
All using World Select does is take you to the last stage you played in that world, usually the last one. Not exactly good for when you want to backtrack in search of origamis. The art style is lovely though, and the folding mechanic is just enough of a brain teaser to be fun.
Not an enjoyable experience
Far too much prodding on the screen to ‘guess’ what the fold should be, and always ending up using the hints. No logic, just poor gameplay, rendered pretty by the artwork (hence the second star). As for the story… it’s too long winded, and interferes with the gameplay, whilst adding nothing. Thank you Netflix for making this free to those of us with a subscription. To the developers, have you ever played your own games?!
Beautiful and thoughtful game
One of my favorite puzzle games I’ve played! Beautiful storyline, enjoyable gameplay. Overall, a really good game.
Need a login and password
No thanks
I just wanted to play the game
Why for the game? Do I need to enter my Netflix account? Second of all? What are you getting from my Netflix account? Oh well, I guess I won’t know what the games like
Enjoyable!!
If you’re looking for a game that will make your brain work, look no further. If you’re looking for a game that will make your heart happy, look no further. Brain feels worked and heart responds, “Ha! Solved it!! I’m so smart.” 😁
Game only shows black screen on iPad Pro!!
UPDATE: I have to update this to note the game now only shows a blank screen after touching the start button on the title screen (similar to the issue reported by Buttonkrys). I'm running this on an iPad Pro with the latest iOS version. (Original review) The mechanic is so simply and brilliantly executed. The art direction, while lovely and enjoyable, comes off as dissonant to a contemporary tale of an aspiring astrophysicist running away to college. All the NPC's I've met so far don't seem to live in that world either. Quite a puzzler, in all senses of the word...
面白かった！

Original concept and visually beautiful
Enjoyed the game from beginning to the end credits! Loved it ! Kudos to the design team.
Fix
I can't log into my Netflix account in the game. Please fix!

awesome
it's a bit confusing in the beginning; and all the dialogues are quite annoying; but once you figure out how the game works, it's great. so smart and creative. although you need a large screen to really play and enjoy the game.
O jogo é legal mais tem um pequeno porém
As vezes dá um big e as dobras n desdobram.
