Update ruined it
Loved this little printer for shows and things around the house until the update. Now it won’t print because I’m using “counterfeit tape”

The label maker works fine as is. The app is easy enough to figure out. However, it would be really nice to be able to upload custom templates to the app. .aml seems to be the popular choice.
The app runs the printing experience
This seems to be quite a capable app, but the cramped screen makes it annoyingly difficult to use, or even to find all the features. I had hoped it would be easier to use on an iPad., but sadly there is no specific iPad app, so there is no benefit from all that extra screen real-estate. It would perhaps help were one able to prepare content in one's app of choice, but I can see no way in which such content might then be imported into Katasymbol - which is the only way I have of actually printing! It's a shame, as the label printer I use with this app is very nice, but the app itself ruins the otherwise excellent experience.
Could be a lot better
No standard menus, no save or save as etc etc virtually all editing software follow the same menu formats allowing access to functionality. So why does this not follow convention. The printer is excellent but let down by the app. It needs redesigning from the top down. Currently it is usable but it’s hard work.
Quick & Easy
Very simple, easy to use. Great alignment tools! Photos are easy to add, lots of font options and allows you to save custom templates. I never have connection issues when my iPhone is nearby. 5 Stars!
Update makes it nonfunctional
After an update, it says it detected counterfeit supplies and won’t work. Been using this for years without issue.
USB Cable?
It appears you must use a USB-C cable to connect to a Mac? It would not connect via Bluetooth…or I could not get it working.
Awful
Not the easiest app to use. It is not very user friendly. I cannot enter text how I want to. I have to find an alternative way to get the text how I want it. Hope someone makes the app more efficient.

“Compatible” Tape No Longer Works after App Update
Purchased the label maker last year from Amazon. Worked fine with the original tape, bought some tape clearly marked as “compatible” from (and actually suggested by) Amazon. Worked fine. Now with the most recent update of THIS APP, the tape that’s already in the maker, marketed as “compatible” fails the RFID check. Apparently the app update enforces stricter checking. So while that isn’t the app’s “fault”, per se, the app update DID cause this. Naturally the SUPVAN tape costs more than the label maker cost originally, so this app - and the label maker it is associated with - are being replaced by something else.
Great labeler; App straight forward to use
Great label maker(E11) and love the option to use continuous tape vs fixed length labels. App is easy to use. Like the idea to adjust letter spacing and line space but could be better. It doesn’t allow you to go closer than the default spacing between letters and closer between the lines. You can only space things out/further away. This would come in handy to eliminate the white spacing between lines, etc. and use a slightly larger font size in the process.

Worked great…now not so much
Version 1.3.23 now rejects label rolls that have previously worked for months with my E10. The app reports ‘Counterfeit supplies detected’ on rolls that were successfully used before the update.

App funktioniert toll und stabil, aber die Übersetzung in die Deutsche Sprache könnte besser sein. Kann bei Bedarf da unterstützen 😉
Template storage limited.
Stored my 6th template and it seems to have disappeared. Would appreciate more clarity— is app storage limited, or does it use available space on my iPhone? App is functional but could use a lot of improvement
Unable to use the app
Absolutely loved this devise but now having issues signing in the app keeps crashing and won’t let me in I sent an email to their listed address but it bounced back kinda feeling scammed
Use with my mac
Super easy software for convenient label making. I love that I can use it with Mac or my phone. Convenient with Mac because of the full-size keyboard. Can also do bar codes for pricing. Highly recommend.
Can’t use my tape after new update
I’ve been using third-party tape without issue. After updating to 1.3.23, the app now says ‘Counterfeit supplies detected’ and refuses to print. This changed after the update and now I can’t use my tape. I used this last night. Today, no dice.
Nailist
I have been very happy with my label maker. This weekend I was in the middle of project and had a problem it had an error message about data and then wouldn’t print or turn off. I put it back in its box it eventually turned off and I charged it fully. Next day tried and it worked for one label I was busy and turned it off and now a few days later I tried and it is doing the same thing error with data and won’t turn off ? I replaced paper and checked that my app was updated and nothing had worked so far. Love the machine. Help?
Constant connection issues
Every time I want to use it, I need to delete the app and re-download it. I constantly get an error message not being able to connect. Super frustrating.

Works great. Disregard the low ratings. Easy connection. Easy to make and design labels. Does what it’s supposed to.
Cannot connect to T50M Pro
Label creation, import, export works… but it does not connect to the T50M Pro over USB or Bluetooth.
Happy so far
So far this app has worked fine for me. I’ve only used it twice and the app has opened and connected with no problems, as I see it’s been issues for others. Crossing my fingers it continues to be ok.
No Round Templates
I’m using this to make labels for spice jars and there are no round templates, and as mentioned in other reviews, this app is a headache to program. Aligning text, resizing images to accurately fit the label, navigating the menus, etc, not user friendly at all.
Not great
The app is slow and you have to wait after tapping for it to respond and to then proceed further for each thing you do.
Life Saver
I love my Little Machine. It has many templates. Easy to use. I love it.
Unfortunately does not connect
Unable to get this to connect over USB or Bluetooth on my Apple Silicon MacBook on MacOS 26.5.1. Had much better luck with Print Editor, which is an iOS app but which runs fine on Apple Silicon Macs and appears more polished anyways.
Used for over 1 year
I’ve been using this app & label printer for well over a year. I love it for the most part. Sometimes I accidentally print a 2nd label when pressing the off button but other than that, it’s great. It lets me save my own templates. For example file folder labels are so easy. I just choose my template and edit the words.
Won’t stay open to use
Super frustrated!! I downloaded this app a year ago and things were working well. Went to use it today and the app won’t stay open. I have removed the app and re-downloaded it multiple times with no improvements. Still can’t use the app!! So now I have a label printer I can’t print with - thanks for nothing!

My app crashes and freezes when I try to make/edit a label, rendering my label maker printer useless. Please fix soon.
So easy to use
I absolutely love this product. I own a catering business and needed labels to fit my products . The variety of labels and shapes is awesome. I am still reviewing the accessories but I am so happy with this product.
Data Mining Scam
Read the privacy policy. It’s an overly permissive app with potential access to collect tons of data. Would not recommend if your phone contains any type of sensitive information.
Feel like the ratings are low for what this nice little ap does.
I was concern after seeing the star rating. I decided to download and give it a try and am happy with the ap and label maker itself. I watched a couple of tutorial videos and was able to do all the things they show. Honestly, I will probably keep to the basic stuff, but it has other creative features for those who would like to embellish their labels more. Overlook the low star ratings; it deserves better than that.
auto-identify
i like some of the new updates, it help me with some things but now the auto-identify doesn’t anymore. i have to input the size of the label every time i change it. very upsetting. make it work again.
Can’t save more than one thing
The app works well with the tape printer and is quite fast. It would be 5 stars if you could save more than one template. Each new one overwrites the old one so is pointless as I have to redo each one again and again.

Very easy to use
Horrible. Don’t fall for it!
This app has short “instructional” videos that do not solve horrible glitches in the device not printing. Even when you follow all the instructions, you’ll be right back where I am…returning their product and getting a refund! Support is also not available on the weekends, which is awful. Clunky machinery and technology with cheesy videos along with FAQs that aren’t addressing common issues…it’s a no for me.

Font size problem
Was always easy to make labels before. Now using the printer, there is no longer a way to increase font by sliding scale. Every print out is tiny. Unable to find help for this particular problem anywhere online
Good but can’t save more than two templates
I like this product, the printer works really well and the app is easy to use however I when I create my own templates it only saves the last two. Each time I try to save a new one it replaces one I previously saved. Very frustrating.
My little helper
This little guy has been a lifesaver! I carry it with me wherever I go. We have multiple properties, short term rentals. Also known as Airbnb’s. I am now able to label light switches, drawers, sugar, containers, laundry, soap, containers, dishwasher, tablet, containers, and so much more! These little labels give us a very professional look. I am super happy with my purchase!
Who ruined this app?
I purchased a SUPVAN T50M Pro Bluetooth Label Maker in Feb 2025, and this app was the one we had to use to create labels. It was clunky and awkward to use but I stuck with it and was able to produce the labels I needed by using the app on my MacBook Pro. Recently a new version of Katasymbol appeared on my MacBook, possibly as a result of an OS upgrade? The new version of the app wiped out all the templates I had saved! The new version tries so hard to be something more than what it is that it is now basically unusable for label printing! Fortunately I have the old version on my phone and finally was able to produce two labels. Annoyed.
Good; but bringing back 'Preview' option before printing
Neat and handy - I'm not sure why it was updated as it was fine as it was. Very good for printing labels, which is its job. Preferred the preview before printing option when the 'Print' button was selected prior to the update. Be careful when selecting font and size - it works but could be a better user experience.
Crashes and Hang
At the beginning, I really enjoyed using the app. But now for some reason it started hanging and crashes most of the time. I tried removing and reinstalling the app in my phone. But no changes to the problem. Can you please fix the issue ASAP! Need to label my gifts.
Tape Printing
The printer works well as long as you accept the automated text size. The only way I can get smaller text is to fill the area, the text defaults back to full size regardless of what I set the text to be, also the instructions are very very basic and it’s not intuitively written software but if you’re only wanting labels it’s a good machine.
