Great but…
What will happen with this app once Apple support for PC chip is gone? What other option do I have. It works well, and I have not issues, but want to know what to use in the future!
Can no longer print without paid subscription
My app has a glitch, at best. When I press the check mark to print it takes me to a popup to buy Labellife’s paid subscription packages. Shameful business practice.
打不開
這幾天都打不開，點圖像進去開啟畫面的logo後就沒有反應了！我用iPhone 15 pro
Not user friendly
Does not connect with the label maker without complications
New Update Completely Bricked app
Ive been religiously using this app for my ebay sales and depop for promoting labels and with this new patch i cant even get into the app. It’s been about a week now and ive resorted to using another app now to just print out my labels. I’ll update my review once I see the effort put in
Great for quick labels
Until I bought this little machine, I was printing labels from my laptop. Now I just send the info to Labelife from my phone and it prints both the label and packing slip. *I had to do a few test runs until I figured out what works for me. The directions for printing are designed for the function of printing use- not “how to actually print”, but 5 minutes of trial and error took care of that. I like the machine. Happy with the purchase.
Use to function okay, now it’s awful.
This was never a great app, the UI is awful, but it always did the job you needed. It use to function, but not you can’t even see half the screen when you’re typing. If I didn’t have so many things saved in this app I’d switch immediately. Please fix the UI
If it’s a thermal printer you need….
If it’s a thermal printer you need, you can’t go past this little beauty. The perfect label printer for my postage labels. Just about to buy another one just in case it breaks! So far it’s been awesome and I couldn’t live without it. Just under $100 you can’t go wrong!!
Please bring back the reset button
If I have an issue with printing labels, I was able to select the printer, then reset (if printing was off). The latest versions have removed that feature (or I cannot find where it’s now located) I just wasted a bunch of labels because it wasn’t printing all of the information. This was a handy little tool until that feature was removed.

Great app!
Been using this app for my Shopify business for years. I have bought high end zebra printers and others and their software was brutal. Label life is super easy to use
Not great
Can’t log in, can create an account. No fonts available. Really wish I had gone with another printer.
works well on mac
works much better for label making on the computer rather than on a phone. i dont use the design tools, i create the labels on canva (many more fonts) and the upload the picture to label life to print. i dont know how well its design tools work.
Auto cropping Now hidden behind subscription
I used to have to manually crop in order to print shipping labels, but the latest update auto crops, which was great. Now it’s hidden behind a subscription fee. Very disappointing.
Don’t want to update it
I’m so scared to update it. The first time I did I couldn’t use my label for 6 months and then they did a new update where my phone updated it on its own and I was able to use it again. Now I’m scared to update it. Also keep in mind I kept emailing the people and they told me it was a fairly on my end with technical stuff when I kept telling them it was an app thing.
Really good
Very good Apps for label printers
App sucks
Ever since they updated the app, can’t connect to the printer at all, customer service sucks they couldn’t even help me out.
功能強大,但...
1. 粗的bar線中間有分岔. 2. 無法輸出成一般的圖檔. 例如 .jpg
Why we have to pay now??
Ive been using this app for a while since the printer i bought said to use this, this is so dumb.
Awesome when it works.
Was working ok until last week. I’ve been trying to get it to connect to my WiFi, but it doesn’t list ANY WiFi networks nearby which is truly odd.
Please!
So, I am shocked that this l App has such a poor rating because I’ve found that it is the BEST of any that I’ve tested thus far and that’s a lot! It gives almost all features but extra fonts for free and still gives enough for most uses. HOWEVER, I am BEGGING the developers to make the canvas of the label a different color than the background. I use this labeled to create labels for identification cuz i’m legally blind and I can’t tell you how many labels I’ve wasted cuz I can’t tell where the canvas begins and ends. I mean, a white canvas and nearly identical white background? It’s a nightmare! I prefer dark mode and see better when everything is black so may just make a border around the label size that is white when in dark mode and black in light mode. If you did that, I would think this is the best app out there. Thank you!!
Charging subscription now
Used to be able to use a bunch of features on this app. Now they want to charge a subscription to use different things that used to be free. Not fair to the people who have been using ! Shame.
App update terrible
A
Not consistent
This app works when it wants to, but most of the time connecting it to the printer is impossible and the app freezes. I usually have to restart the app and printer 10+ times to get it to work. As soon as I have the funds, I will upgrade! Unless you are poor like me, do not get this one!!!
Landscape mode
What I particularly miss is the landscape mode on the iPad. I hope that this will be improved soon. As soon as this is done, I also give 5 stars. Maybe you should design the app for the iPad exactly the same as the one for the Mac. Because iPadOS 26 is coming soon and that's very much based on the Mac.
Still working years after purchase
I purchased this little workhorse of a printer years ago and it is still printing my labels. Yes it does have a few quirks but nothing worth mentioning. I will mention the support staff has been able to walk me through getting my printer back online twice, and it was super easy and they handled the call for service in a professional manner and both times they were very friendly. I highly recommend
App is unresponsive
It’s clunky trying to get around in it to begin with, but when you try and open the app and it does nothing but show a logo? This is for business. I’m not amused.
Pretty good. needs a little tweak
Good app, Does what it needs to do. Would like to be able to edit from my documents and print without having to keep resaving as a new file.
Such a bad app. Worthless with iPad
This app is buggy as hell, and let’s start with the simple flaw: it can’t do landscape, so anyone with a Magic Keyboard has to do the work at 90 degrees. The code to rotate the app is approximately 10 lines, so the vibe-coders are really awful at their job on this one. Second, you can’t see what you’re working on. All of the controls for Style, Font, Layout, etc obscure the working page, so if you’re trying to fit text into the box? Good luck. Hope you guess well. And third, there are better apps, but Phomemo locks their hardware to this buggy nonsense. Previous updates have broken it. Buy something other than Phomemo. It got a second star because when it does work, it works cleanly and accurately, but having to restart and reinstall the software to print a single label is nobody’s idea of solid workflow. When your printer makes a 1985 HP dot matrix look like a better bet? You need a new software team.
Bien mais
Il manque un mode sombre ça fait mal aux yeux
Love it
Love this app. Makes it so easy to get my items to buyers.
App won’t open after the update
This app get stuck on the initial logo screen and won’t load. Can’t print labels with your label printer now because of the app’s malfunction. Please fix asap.
A thought
Could an option to create files in my documents be added
Useless
Having to scape for a label everytime is stupid. There should be an automatic setting to cut out the white area that’s not needed
Missing import Excel file
Missing import Excel file
Great printer
Although it sometimes disconnects from wireless, I have found this to be a great app for all my label and sticker needs.
Terrible
I purchased this 8/12/26 and used it for one day. After that, it kept prompting me to start a trial or subscribe. Customer service would not respond/rectify the problem. Had to contact my bank to dispute charges, even though I had proof that my renewal date was 8/13/27.
Works well
Works well, it'd be nice if there was an easy way save presets of sizes of label. also a basic barcode printer where i can just type a number and itll print the barcode, rather than having to edit the barcode and manually print off another copy
Latest update crashed it
Using it for more than a year on MacOS but latest update made it unusable. It always frozen, can do nothing with it :( It was always very very slow, but now it’s broken.
Been good but last update broke it
Have been very happy with this and have pushed in excess of a thousand labels through my machine however since the update a few days ago it isn’t feeding through to the gap correctly. Everything is clean and tidy on the machine, labels have been the same for the entire time of use but since the update i have to realign the labels every two or three prints. Update seems to have knocked off the gap recognition.
Life Saver!
I absolutely adore this App & printer! it's been a game changer for my shipping i don't know what i would do without it. relatively easy to set up (I'm 50 so that says a lot) and to maintain. Highly recommended!
Awful updates
After the app update I constantly get a PDF format error. I have to delete the app and reinstall every time I need to print something.
Printer won’t even connect
I’ve been trying to connect to this printer for about a month now. The printer works perfectly fine on the computer, the app however does not want to connect to it. The bluetooth is on, the device is also recognised, yet it still doesn’t work. I have tried to factory reset, unplug and plug back in multiple times and followed all advice yet it only connected once and disconnected the next day. not sure what’s going on atp.
NEEDS MORE FEATURES
• Text too close to barcode, need an option to add space between barcode and text • Make it compitable with barcode scanners, when scanned it instantly creates the barcode you set it as, saves so much time rather than manaully adding barcodes • Bring back the instant print button (disappeared after the new update), when pressing print you have to confirm everytime with settings. Gets very annoying when you're manually printing 30 labels • Bring back the default font (disappeared after the new update) • Add a PDF Editor, edit the text on the label which saves time rather than manually inserting text This application has so much potential and could easily be the best, just need features that are convenient and efficient.
Works great
Works well and does why it’s supposed to.
Lost templates
It sucks when an update happens because then my printer won’t connect. I went through ALL the suggested steps more than once - and still no printer connection. Thus left me with the only option to uninstall and reinstall the app. When I had to do this, I lost ALL of my templates. Y just happened to me again for the second time with the automatic update - I wish I would have had the choice because I wouldn’t have updated since I lost everything before. I even tried to save all of my templates before uninstalling, but had no luck doing so. The app isn’t compatible in that way. Otherwise, I love the app and the cute labels I was able to do. Plus the fast printing is awesome. Now I’ll have to put in at least two hours or more to recreate them. I’ll probably be looking for another printer and app.
Firmware update - printer is now flashing red and won’t feed paper
Updated the firmware. Worked perfectly before. Now won’t feed the paper in. Keeps saying clear jam etc. nothing is jammed. Tried turning off and on etc so frustrating.
Good... BUT
It's a bit of a mess to get it connected on MacOS with a M221. Also, the app is not very updated compared to its Windows version (Windows v2.1, Macos v1.2...). Things like Code 128 generation are broken: only allows Alphanumeric characters, any special characters break the barcode (dash, hyphens, dots, spaces should be allowed).
