The MLM2PRO app is a great companion to an already impressive launch monitor. Setup is simple, the shot data is detailed, and being able to review numbers like carry distance, ball speed, club speed, spin, and dispersion makes practice sessions much more productive. The video replay and impact vision features are especially useful for actually seeing what’s happening with each swing. There are a few areas where the app could be smoother and more polished, but overall it adds a ton of value to the MLM2PRO. If you’re serious about improving your game and like having real data behind your practice, it’s an excellent tool.

iPad Issues
App will not open on my ipad since recent update. Disappointed, phone is not practical. Money wasted on premium sub imo.
Great when it works
Fun to use until it crashes (which is nearly every time I use it). I play a course (9 or 18) almost daily. It’s fun, it’s accurate. However, it can get very laggy at times and crashes at least once every round (owned for two years). So I would say over all good but not great.
Great app
The app works great. So many great features and this will certainly take your game to the next level. It sure did for me . I've went from a 21 handicap to a 7 at the moment. Support team continues to hear from their users and makes every effort to keep everyone happy and informed!
App Fails to Launch Past Loading Screen
I had MLM1 and upgraded to MLM2Pro. I was excited to test it at the range today. So I unboxed the device and added the app to my iPad. Drag everything out to the range only to fail to launch beyond the loading page. AI troubleshooting says, “force close app.” Didn’t work. “Try airplane mode on and off.” Didn’t work. Delete the app and reinstall. Great. There’s no WiFi at the range. Entire range session wasted.
Great unit
I love this device! Does everything you need it to, my only negative, is this six of the detection zone… when going from tee to deck. A minor inconvenience
Glitchy
Worked fine until the last update. Now it crashes, glitches, doesn’t read shots and rarely gives club data. The app on my phone also stops syncing with the cloud every couple of weeks. I then have to uninstall and reinstall it. It’s a mess.
Ipad issues
App will not open on my ipad but works fine on my phone. Disappointing to not be able to use a larger screen
Worth the price
I’ve used it on multiple driving, ranges and compared it to different launch monitors everything was maybe one or 2 yards different but seem to be very accurate. I played golf courses and multiple different practice routines being able to set this up in my backyard with net almost as good as going to a course when you have nowhere to play
Garbage
After multiple failed attempts to pair with the device when I got it it finally paired and said it needed to update the firmware of the device. Now it won’t work at all, refuses to connect to the app, sometimes won’t even enter pairing mode. Don’t waste your time or money on this product.

If can export mobile vision/ swing vision or impact vision from application it would be best. or can make swing posture analytic is great.

Fantastic launch monitor. Fantastic price point. Fantastic features. Completely awful software. Buggy app. Slow. 50% Chance you won’t even connect the same day. Use 3rd party apps with Rapsodo and it’s great if you can even get to the point of linking it to the 3rd party software like GSPro. Just scrap the mobile app and use PC software Rapsodo
Device Great! App Sucks!
I have both the MLM and the MLM2Pro. I think both devices work great but the app needs a lot of improvement. Each time there is a new app release, I cross my fingers hoping it will be a lot better. It is not. One update which was 2 updates ago actually went backwards in usability. Had to turn the device landscape to be able to change clubs in practice mode. The last update fixed that. Deleting old sessions is a nightmare. It is a storage hog. It is currently using 164 GB of my iPad and to delete them you have to swipe left one at a time, hit delete and wait 30 to 45 seconds for it to actually remove. Sometimes the app just crashes for no reason. Deleting sessions. Sometimes it crashes in the middle of a session. I have tried a bunch of different iPads and iPhones and always the same thing. I was hoping the last mandatory update to the app was going to be legendary, but to no surprise, it didn’t change much. Like I said, great device for a great price but the app seems like it was developed by a third party that has never actually used the equipment.
Great Tool
Bought the Rapsodo MLM2 to put in my garage sim build so I could work on my swing and play courses with a 5 month old at home not allowing me to get out to play much anymore. Using the data provided, I’m putting in a lot of work on my swing and when I DO get to go to the course, the improvement is obvious. Very happy with this purchase!
New Update Terrible
This new update made my tracer virtually useless. Shot are no longer being detected. I could have done without the chipping “fix.” I wish there was a way to revert back to the previous firmware update.
1 year anniversary
I bought the mlm2pro after much research across various launch monitors. The app is fairly easy to use and self explanatory.
Lots of bugs
Why is connecting to my device so unreliable? Why does the app crash when playing closest to the hole? Why does the app get stuck on my score when playing a course? Why is resuming a session so difficult? Why is the app so slow? Why can’t I see some of the buttons in landscape mode?
Good but not great
When it first came out it was really good. As time went on and they came out with the new product this one is on the back burner. Customer support is no longer existent. Had a problem in January that still is not fixed and I’m supposedly in line for 6 months.
Best launch market for its price point
Compared to Skytrack and other pricey, premium launch monitors, the MLM2PRO is the best in class for its value and features. Minor negatives: - no 4k camera - clunky export system - exported videos are 30fps max (they look really low res / odd)
Buyers Beware!
I bought this set up after extensive research online. I did read some reviews highlighting connectivity issues, but I figured they were minor, and for the price it would be tolerable. I guess the reality of marketing and paid for reviews makes it difficult for the consumer to truly understand what they are buying. At the beginning, the Rapsodo worked with the occasional glitch or disconnection. Towards the end of 2025, glitches became more common with camera issues, alignment issues, freezing and disconnection. I addressed this matter with customer service and the responses were “update the app”, “update the software”… I cannot count how many times I have been through this process now. I am a fair person so I wanted to give Rapsodo a chance to fix the issue, or provide me with some options to remedy the situation, before I go ahead and post a review. The latest option was to join an app testing forum which is not what I want to spend my time doing. So, here I am writing a review. For me, I have had an awful experience with the Rapsodo and it doesn’t work. Right now I can’t even connect the system so it is just sitting in a drawer and I am out of pocket on the unit and subscription. I guess some people are lucky or some units work better than others, but considering the request to join a testing forum and the amount of time it takes customer service to respond, I believe the issues with the system are significant and growing.
Niccee
Is a fun simulator that keeps getting some awesome updates, for example it recently got angle of attack. Courses could use some polish however and the trees are like brick walls.
Update is problematic
Update has fixed chip shots but not reading driver and sometimes gives connectivity issues deleting apps rn and reinstalling
When it works it’s awesome.
Sadly half the time after I’ve hit 60 shots they never sync even leaving the unit on and connected to the app. But it’s good for seeing and track shots. Would I buy again. Probably. But the app could be so much better
Exactly what it’s supposed to be
The MLM2PRO app for iPhone and iPad is great. I really like that it saves my data across devices, so I can record sessions and go back days later to review everything. It saves both the shot data and video recordings from each swing, which makes it easy to look back, see what I was doing, and understand what corrections I need to make. The only thing I wish it had was an option to save a specific video after each shot — especially for those really good ones. Lol.
Horrible
Worst app ever. I literally have to delete the app and reinstall anytime I want to use my mlm2pro or it won’t connect. Embarrassing to pay this amount for something + an expensive almost mandatory membership and have to put up with constant problems
Connection Freeze
When connecting directly to the device outside the app freezes and hangs when pressing on buttons. When connecting on home network is very responsive totally different UX.
Firmware Update Wasn’t Great
I’ve had this app and launch monitor since late 2025. The connection is spotty via a network at best. Now, it’s having trouble capturing all my shots via direct connection to my phone. It also locks up from time to time to time. I’m on iPhone 14 Pro with the latest iOS.
It’s not working after firmware update.
These constant issues are making this demoralizing.
Slick App. Great Results.
Love the MLM2PRO and this app together. Combining the camera on your phone seamlessly with the two on the Rapsodo plus all the data is amazing. Love that you can connect over WiFi in your house without having to do a direct connection to the device!
Have no clue if it works
Got it today. First couldn’t even get the registration done. Now I’m just stuck trying to get a firmware update down. Have no idea how good the hardware is but the software is absolute complete garbage and a GIANT waste of time and money. Submitting for my refund on this $600 paperweight.
Compact like its price
Neat little unit that does what you need, great for the price
Slow and glitches
Monitor works well enough but the app for apple compared to android is really bad. Shots are slow to register, videos for playback are slow and laggy
Please sort out the oriantation
My iPad case is landscape, most of the in play features are in landscape but the menus are portrait, it very annoying to have to pick up the iPad and turn it regularly. Just make the menus work in both portrait and landscape. Otherwise the app is good.
Great App
This is a great app and device. Constant improvements are always coming down the pipe. Anyone having issues is most likely caused by their own connection issues but if you get the router right close to the device, the issues are almost non existent.
Connectivity issues
App regularly has connection issues or issues with certain programs. I currently can’t even connect or login due to error messages. Would be a good launch monitor if it would consistently work and not freeze or lag behind. I have 1g internet speed and still have constant issues. I can’t do my speed training today on stack because I can’t get this to even connect.
Getting better every update
Things are trending in the right direction! Keep up the good work! Would be great to get a simulation view/ replay feature from shots at the range to look back on

Will not connect after update
Second unit, latest firmware update prevent Bluetooth from registering in app. Never get to the scanning network portion. Support takes weeks to respond and sends canned response and the cycle starts over. Cannot recommend. I tried every suggestion online.
New update
Just used the rapsodo range and played my home course in landscape mode. Worked perfect! Direct connected to device

App won’t open
I’m Running the app on iPhone and the app wont even open! I click on the icon, the rapsodo screen pops up for 1 second, then crashes. How am I supposed to use the $600 rapsodo I just bought if I can’t use the app!? This is very disappointing, please fix this!!
Much improved
Huge improvement on the first release Connection is a lot more stable Looking forward to the beta release becoming publicly available Not sure why beta can’t be for us general users, we have to watch you tubers showing us features we don’t have access to :(
Is my money going towards the app or not?
Writing this review as the app currently will not open, again. The launch monitor itself is great, except the problem is you can only use the launch monitor through the app - which I knew prior to buying the monitor. However, it seems to be a hit or miss for each person. I’ve seem to fallen in working but with frequent disconnections and the odd time where the app won’t even open, like today. The app itself is alright. I would have expected more from it, such as the ability to use the home screens in landscape mode too - not just when you’re in the playing mode. Annoying when you have your phone in a stand and you have to either turn your head or phone each time. Not a huge deal I guess, but didn’t think it would be a big deal to implement such a feature either? The thousands of available golf courses are very meh, they’re not even accurate to the elevations of the courses (so what’s the point of even playing them??) and they look like they’re out of a 90’s arcade game almost. But I suppose this is where the savings come in on purchasing such a launch monitor? Would be great if you could hook up directly via Ethernet and hdmi for projectors to avoid all the disconnection issues there are. Also be nice to have a desktop version too instead of having to use your phone or tablet. You can use GS Pro with it since GS Pro is open source (nice to see some companies still focus on community and feedback) When it works it’s great - when it works. I’d recommend another product to avoid using this app.
Connection problems
The simulator is pretty good for the price. It’s easy to setup at the driving range or at home. However, for some reason the connection times out every 10-15 min or so which is very annoying. Anyone have a fix for this?
