A game
Glitchy Garbage
This game is just OK. It’s fun, but it glitches so much you need to keep closing out and reopening. There are times when you spend your resources to upgrade, but nothing happens. The resources vanish, but no builder is working on the upgrade. Beyond frustrating when you need to wait a day to get that much resources. Don’t waste your time on this game.
Good but needs work
it’s a nice game, love the concept about dragons and troop types, love how there’s different type of troops and there’s troop compatibility plus bonuses with the dragons. the game is quite interesting. the flaws are the crashing and bugs, like after claiming a reward sometimes it doesn’t claim and you’d have to close and reopen the game to claim. That and the crashing, really needs optimization. other than that it’s a good game. 4 stars.
P2W
Another pay to win pile of garbage, the concept is good but unless you’re willing to pump in thousands (as some people have on my server) don’t bother, you can’t even compete and takes the enjoyment out of it
WONT STOP CRASHING
This is insane how many people are complaining about the constant crashing . I’m talking 6-7 an hour . It’s ridiculous because the game is good .
Enjoying the game
This is a cool game. If you love dragons and fantasy then this is the game for you
Predatory Whales
Says everything. Imbalanced game. Only thing that levels power is spending. South and Whale factions destroy all balance. Expect to spend $1k or more in the first two seasons or you don’t have a chance against the promoted and seeded players that force you to spend.
good game
good game, pretty fun but you run out of energy pretty quick if you have to travel far, i wish there was a way to buy energy or like watch ads for it. surprisingly theres no ads at all tho which is awesome. this game is strengthening my patience but god damn i wanna buy energy so i can play more.
Run unless you have money to waste. Game crashes a lot
Game could be fun but is solely pay to win. Unless you have a lot of money in game you are wasting your time.
This game won’t survive unless they sort out the power dynamics
Impossible to be competitive in this game without spending loads of money. We are in a cost of living crisis you should be able to create a system where new servers are not being flooded by established alliances all who have paid to win. Makes the game unenjoyable.
Really fun
Really fun game. Long time gamer here and I’m loving it.
Account
All account information had reset and delete all on its own
Fun but unfair
This game is fun but it’s more of a social game. Alliances want you to get a completely separate app just to talk when we could talk and plan things in the game chat instead and if you don’t you get kicked from alliance. The star system is also unfair, I wish there was more of an advantage for those who don’t want to spend lots of money to star up or get relics. I have spent money but I don’t have enough like other players do and can get huge dragons so early in the game. I really enjoy this game it’s a lot of fun just frustrating.
Heavy pay to play
I truly enjoyed my time playing this game. Unfortunately it’s too heavy pay to play. There are players spending thousands of real money and ranking up super fast. Tons of player are on servers are leaving due to players ranking up too fast.
Another reskinned gotcha game
I like the game well enough. I am not going to complain about f2p or p2w. I like the graphics. Gameplay isn’t terrible. The paywalls are high - expected. There are star up events that allow you to directly purchase star levels for individual dragons. You really need 6 star or higher dragons. Thing is, if you do not choose to purchase up to 6 stars directly the first time that the dragon star up is offered, that offer never comes back around. You missed it. You can spend tons of money and hope to get enough states to upgrade to 6+, but that initial offer is it. It won’t even cycle back through in season 2+. So, you play, then you like it, then you think - I’ll spend some money. But then after you spend it you realize you missed the boat and have an expensive but terrible account. You go to the discord to suggest changes, and the zealots there say, “you should have asked us here before buying” I’m sorry I downloaded a game to play a game, not to have to be on discord, WhatsApp and every other app at the same time as I am trying to play the game - all on one phone. The whales group together and kill servers - per usual. I’m over this money pit. It was started and killed in 3 months for me over 2 seasons. Thanks for the memories
Worth a play
Tried it for a bit, it was easy to learn the basics, interface was easy to navigate and understand, it was a lot of fun raising my dragons, and took very little money to get yourself going, always a plus with these games ! I have no issues supporting my fav games, when they’re more pay to play it take all the fun out. This game doesn’t do that so far. I’ve spent a little, but advancing without spending is possible, just takes a bit longer. I might start playing again Downside : other players wet very snarky with newer players who were still learning, the game saying I have to battle when I went strong enough yet to defend territories, bldgs etc Overall a fun game. You just have to block the jerks
Waste of time
If you take a few days off it resets you back to level 1. Trash
Reset Ramifications
I love the theming and the game in general but I do not like how the reset works. I worked so hard to level up my dragons and stronghold only for it to all be set back to one. I understand the idea of evening the playing field but as someone who mainly likes the building aspect it’s annoying to have all my hard work reset. Again I understand the idea behind it but it’s so frustrating to be reset like that. I almost thought my account was entirely erased of progress. At least give materials or something in compensation for the reset.
Crashes
Could be a fun game if it didn’t Crash every 30 seconds.
“Free to Play” but dominated by “Pay to Win”
If you just want to play. It isn’t hard. The mechanics are ok. There are some things that could be better. On the other hand, if you want to win be prepared to spend. If you aren’t at some point you will be rolled over.
Love the game
Love the game it fun
Season Reset
Beware of the reset after all your hard work. The developers and creators of this game could learn a lot from the creators and developers of TWD: Survivors. Players should not have to have their dragon levels and armies size reset at the start of a new season/campaign. I was really into this game but completely lost interest after the reset. Waste of time.
Still young but good
Let's get it out of the way. If you pay you gain an advantage but the game is free so can't complain. Now there's a ton of good stuff but some quality of life needs to be made. Such as map navigation, alliance mail and battling. But the game is young so let's just hope they love the game enough to keep improving. Good stuff though. add my girl Dreamfyre already!
So much potential
I’ve played many similar games so I appreciate the simplicity of this and the super graphics. The balancing needs a lot of improvement. Currently, if someone spends 5 figures they can’t be beaten even by whales or 100 attacking them (yes, the entire active faction). This really takes away from the competitive aspect. As others have said, dragons themselves aren’t book or tv accurate, which is a minor thing. I’d like to see more specific things to purchase instead of just 4 random items. After completing all upgrades resources become redundant so other things to use them on would be nice. Would also like a way to move to a different server without a friend code. Maybe another to move without resetting just to one made at the same time to help with language barriers, timezone activity and toxic servers.
Fix the continuous crashing
Great game but not yet stable
Game of thrones
Wonder full game just like the story.
I liked this game… but it was ruined!
I just logged onto the game for the first time before going to bed last night. When I opened it, I was missing half my dragons, and EVERYTHING was reset to level one! I play this game to relax and this is stressing me out.
gg
games pretty nice if only the the game showed the rider actually flying the dragon with a saddle that would also be pretty sick especially when moving tile to tile
Beware of long term play
First season was good. Really good mechanics and server was balanced. But as time goes on beware of whales. Season 2 is almost unplayable because the game almost requires you to spend hundreds to thousands of dollars to be competitive. Unbalanced servers and insane power levels makes this game unenjoyable and honestly it makes it a shame because the game had so much hope.
Crashing.
Game crashes every 5 minutes ruining the experience, apart from that great game
GOT
i love it
PAY TO WIN GAME
Y’all’s game is pay to win and has a bogus reset every new session it’s literally a waste of time for free players people spend money and just dominate your game isn’t balanced at all!
More dragons
Needs to add the dragon meleys and silver wing
From Fun to Frustrating
Loved the game starting out but if you’re not willing to spend a lot of money, don’t waste your time. It’s more stress than it’s worth. 100% p2w and if you’re on the side with the least amount whales, you might as well just uninstall. Most of the players are toxic and you can barely achieve anything at all after a certain point unless you have whales escorting you everywhere.
Crash
Game keeps crashing it is so annoying, please fix
Cool Game
This is a fun game so far It I did just start playing it
BUGS
i love this game , even spent real money on it . But until the bug is fixed where my dragons levels aren’t saving they’ve been level 47 forever can’t move to next chapter u less I get to level 50 but they gain the xp once full level. Will not change I reached out to support to no avail. So one star until bug is fixed or I get a refund because no point in playing if I cannot progress
Excelent
Cool let ts to do bit hard to figure out what to do with cores and relics
Server is out of balance
Server is completely out of balance. New players are put on same server as players with 5 star adult dragons. No balance at all.
.
This game is fun, and good, and the p2w aspects don’t hold any players back majorly, but it suffers since I constantly find myself having to reload the game due to freezing. It’s clear from some features of the game, the developers are gamers themselves, which is refreshing, like the UI which is easy to navigate, when I am not having to press a button 4 times and wait 30 seconds for a response.
Amazing
Gameplay relates to the series so much!
Trash
Whoever is giving this game 5* must be paid or incentivized. Complete gatekeeping of a game on timelocks. Looking for those legendary dragons? GL you’re going to be spending hundreds to just unlock them. Worst predatory gotcha game out there.
Great game
Great game however heavy pay to win aspects , as is every mobile RTS, just please when you do the updates via AppStore put what you’re changing in the update report rather than just the same copy and paste every time :)
Why do we have to wait so long?
The dragon assault used to happen more often before. What happened now? Why haven’t we received a continuation of the dragon assault after almost a month?
Update
Dragons need to be closer to that of the books, the 3 dragons from game of thrones should be on there, needs to be more options regarding stamina aswell, game has potential but needs a few updates
D0P3!!
I love this game!! It’s the most impressive, fun and challenging game made! This game opens our world into another world and helps you be the one to control it and play against others. Great job in creating such a fantastic game everyone can watch in a series, this game, Art and hopefully a blockbuster movie to follow.
Pay to win
Completely pay to win. Can be fun but if your not paying a dummy amount, you’ll get stomped by all the people who do.
Dragon strike
I’m really enjoying playing this game however there is only 10 levels in the dragon strike and I would love it if there was more
Be Aware
This game will reset nearly all of your stats to square one at the beginning of every new season. You will be relocated to a different area, the only stats you keep, is the abilities of your Dragons, but they will restart at level one as well. Very frustrating to lose all of your progress
Good potential but not there
I’ve really enjoyed parts of this game, especially the early progression, collecting dragons, and building my account. The core idea is fantastic, and I genuinely want the game to succeed. However, after spending a lot of time playing, I feel there are some fundamental design issues that make PvP and long-term progression frustrating rather than rewarding. 1. Team Building Feels Too Restrictive The biggest issue is that dragons don’t seem to have enough flexibility. Most dragons only work well with one or two very specific dragons, meaning you often need an entire “meta” team before a strategy becomes viable. If you don’t own the correct dragons, it doesn’t matter how active you’ve been or how much you’ve invested into your current dragons—you simply can’t compete. I would love to see more dragons that can fit into multiple team compositions and act as counters to popular strategies. 2. Progression Doesn’t Feel Rewarding I’ve had level 40 dragons lose comfortably to teams with level 33 dragons simply because of stars, heirlooms, or other progression systems. That makes levelling dragons feel much less meaningful than it should. A player who has invested time into the game should feel stronger because they’ve played more, not just because they’ve been lucky with duplicates or spent money. 3. Star Upgrades Are Too Powerful The jump from 1★ to 2★ is enormous, and there are ten star levels after that. Because duplicates are required, progression feels heavily tied to luck or spending rather than gameplay. Smaller, more gradual upgrades would make progression feel much healthier. Like rise to war with equipment items that you can playa round with. 4. PvP Matchmaking Needs Work PvP often feels decided before the battle even starts. Instead of strategy deciding fights, account strength usually determines the winner. There should be more opportunities for lower-powered players to outplay stronger teams through better team composition, counters, or clever abilities. 5. Dragon Abilities Need Better Balance Some dragons feel incredible while others feel almost unusable. Instead of every dragon having a purpose, many simply don’t compete with the strongest options. Every dragon should have a niche, even if it’s only useful against certain team compositions. 6. Too Many Progression Systems Power comes from dragons, stars, heirlooms, gear, awakenings, and several other upgrade systems. Instead of feeling like I’m making progress in one area, it feels like I’m constantly falling behind in multiple different systems. Simplifying progression would make the game much easier to understand and much more enjoyable. 7. The World Map Needs Rebalancing The kingdom layout also feels uneven. Players who start in the north or south appear to have significant advantages due to map spacing and travel distances. Some regions can expand and reach objectives much more efficiently than others, while players in other starting positions have to travel further and compete over fewer resources. The map should feel equally balanced regardless of where a kingdom begins. A Comparison with Rise to War One of the reasons I enjoyed Lord of the Rings: Rise to War so much was because activity and strategy mattered. Even if another player had higher-ranked commanders, I could still win fights by choosing the right heroes, troop types, and counters. Commander levels increased troop capacity and talent points, so simply playing the game rewarded you with meaningful progression. In this game, progression feels much more dependent on collecting the right dragons and upgrading multiple premium systems than on strategic decision-making. Final Thoughts I genuinely enjoy the game and think it has huge potential. The dragon designs, world, and early-game experience are excellent. I just hope future updates focus on making strategy matter more than collection size or spending. If players feel that skill, activity, and smart team building can overcome stronger accounts, the game will be healthier, more competitive, and much more enjoyable for everyone.
