Fun
One of the better ones for this type of game. Not an obvious money grab, nor too many commercials. No forced adds. You can play without pay, and still advance (slowly) or Pay about $5 and go faster. Of course there are the ones who spend $100s and are the leaders, but so far it hasn’t ruined it for me. I spend $5 to go commercial free, it gives you free skips. Four stars because some of the mini games really suck (Mushrooms switch, Noah’s Ark)
Good game, some issues
I love the game and most of the events, however i wish to write some grievances here. 1. Every major events involves players from other servers, and whenever it does, there is always a handful of players who have spent several hundreds of dollars (one named Negative said they paid at least 800 USD) which ruins and incentive or reason to try and win, 2. Progression slows to a horrid stop around early renaissance, and it’s a little agitating to deal with 3. A lot of events that have a goddess or a hero require you to spend money to get them. You’ll usually get 70% of the way there even if you do everything you can (without spending money) which also, just bums me out, Like i said, good game, but these issues are frustrating and make me want to step away rather than play more
Great game! One issue…
The game is fantastic, and I would love to rate it higher, however there’s one glaring issue that I noticed is pretty prevalent in media: the men in the game have a bunch of different body types, but every single woman hero/goddess in the game has the same body type! The only differing body types we see are with the chibi citizens! It’s very disappointing, especially since all of the clothes are gorgeous! I’d be happy to see some diversity in the future, especially in the goddesses.

Egregious pay to win
Been on this server since it launched. Spent 8 hours today grinding the latest event. Was #1 for the last 2 hours. Got reemed by a pay-to-win player who jumped to 3 times my score in a matter of minutes. This game doesn’t even attempt balance. You pay out the nose or you lose. That’s how this game works. Two stars because some (just some) of the game play is interesting.
Wenn „Viel“ ZUVIEL ist
Anfangs macht dieses Spiel gut Laune. Man kommt zügig voran, die Mechaniken werden gut erklärt. Doch sehr zeitnah wird man dann mit Belohnungen und Dailys zugespamt, der Bildschirm füllt sich mit Event-Buttons und es wird einfach durch die schiere Masse an Content unübersichtlich und es ist kein wirklicher Story-Faden mehr ersichtlich. Es mag zwar schön sein, wenn in einem Spiel viel Content verfügbar ist, doch für mich ist es echt too much, viel zu vollgemüllt und teilweise am Spiel vorbei. Das verdirbt mir leider den Spaß.

Inaccessible
Hi. So I like civilization sim games, and I wanted to try this one out. Thing is, it's not accessible with voiceover. Could you maybe implement voiceover accessibility in the future? I would gladly give this a game a full try if so.
It’s fun…
I’m loving the gameplay & player activities. Just not a whole lot excited with the recent update or something where we’re up against other server guilds/players
fun at first...
At first, I enjoyed playing the game as I didn't feel any pressure of leveling up fast. However, when the developers made all the players from all servers play against each other, all the fun of the game I initially felt was replaced with pressure and annoyance. I felt the need to level up fast as to be able to have a chance to compete with stronger players from other servers. When all the servers have been playing together, lower-tiered players have no chance at all to compete with stronger players. The only way they could have a tiny chance to compete is to use real money to buy stuffs to level up fast. For the side games, I think it would be better if players from different servers and guilds can play against each other based on their tier/era level, and not all tier/era playing against each other, so as to give weaker players a chance to win. For the main events, like dawn of rome, I think it's alright that all players/guilds from all servers compete against each other.
The pacing kills it
If you’ve ever played Kingshot or Whiteout Survival this game is basically that in a different font. I do really like the theme, graphics, and writing but the game barrages you with all the features and mechanics very early on and it’s pretty overwhelming, and then suddenly it grinds to a painful halt and the only way to make any more progress is to dump money into it or to do a long slow grind. It was fun for a couple of days, though. I think some tweaks to the pacing could make this game really fun for a long time! I also kept getting private messages from what felt like bots or employees sending me random messages or asking me where I’m from. My server was already pretty dead, but it made me curious how much of the little traffic I was seeing was organic.

The gameplay is like any other civilization builder/gacha game so that wasn’t my issue. What really made me give it 1 star was the religious figures in it. I found it disrespectful all around and it made me uncomfortable.
Fun game
Really enjoying the game to the point I bought the monthly pass saves so much time! Loads of different event always happening some I like some not my cup of tea. Biggest downside for me is the population growth compared to other stats I’m just about to go to late ren and buying all of the population boosts doing all wonders and over 2 days my pop has gone up about 5% when I completed all other requirements days ago. Not stopping my playing but just annoying as want to progress
Wrong value for diamonds
You should either get a lot more diamonds for your money or the hero draws need to be cheaper! $100 of diamonds only get you 30 hero draws. That’s just stupid. Very few of the packs that you can buy aren’t even worth the money. If I spend $100, I want to be able to gain some power, but that is not the case with this game! I like it and would have spent several hundred more by now if the packs and diamonds were a better value!
Nice but money
The game is very fun and adictive, but later you need to pay or it gets slow, and is mathematically impossible to win at events without lessen your pockets, even if you abandon your life to play and watch all ads.

Constant ads and pop ups
I don’t usually leave reviews but I felt like I had to for this game. The game is fun to play but there’s a huge drawback. You will be barraged constantly to watch ads and get pop ups to spend more money. There is a red ! That shows when they want you to watch an ad instead of something that is actually useful to you. Can’t do it anymore, peddle your ads to someone else
All white, lots of stuff
There are only white characters. And there is so much stuff to have to keep up. I don’t know if I will keep it.

Pay 2 play 2 succeed
I have been playing the game since it released. It is fun, I like the historical figures/facts and the imagery. It was really engaging at first and I was constantly moving on up in the game. Now I’m at level 143 and progress is sloooow, I have to wait 12+ hours to for research to finish, energy to top up in the theater, or to get enough to gold maybe level up 3-4 characters a day max. If you want to obtain any new characters during an event you HAVE to pay. You will not get enough shards to summon them by simply logging in and playing normally. There is currently no way to get characters, goddesses, or skins you miss during the events. If you want to be on top of the leaderboard good luck. You’re competing with people who have easily spent a couple hundred and have extra resources and power as a result. Free boosts also require watching way too many ads and popups to top up are relentless. Much room for improvement.

Now I’m not one to review games but I took the time for this one because it’s actually pretty fun. Give it a try!
Can only play “their way”
The game has good bones and a good progression system, but all of that is locked behind a bunch of events and mandatory side missions. You can’t just play the way you want, you’re forced into a guild, even if you want to pay alone, when you break through to the real game after the tutorial, no joke, there are close to 20!!! events and paid ladders and forced participation. Even if you finish it all, it will still have a big red alert to watch ads to get more, or pay to win. As I said, great progression system, just insanely difficult to actually play with it.

It could be a nice game, however whales really destroy the game for me. You have no chance at any point to get something out of events. P2W really sucks the joy out of games..
Unterhaltsam, Abzug für Ai
Das Spiel ist ein sehr unterhaltsamer Tycoon. Wem so eine Art von Spiel Spaß macht, ist hier richtig, denn es gibt sehr viel zu tun. Abzug gibt es für die Ai/Ki Bilder, die manchmal genutzt werden. An den meisten Stellen kommt das Game ohne aus, weshalb ich nicht verstehe, warum manche Sachen (offensichtlich) Ki generiert sind. Weiterer Abzug für Events, bei denen man als F2P nicht die besten Belohnungen bekommen kann, da alles darauf ausgelegt ist, dass die kostenlose Event Energie nicht ausreicht, um genug Punkte zu erreichen.

I am really enjoying the option to play at my own pace. Not having other people breathing down my neck. Lastly knowing my game won’t be attacked and destroyed while I’m at work. So relaxing.
Artificial Bots
This game I have been enjoying but unfortunately it’s likely they are using ‘Dev’ accounts or bots in order to entice players at the top to spend even more. This is extremely predatory and if you are worried about spending too much I do not recommend. I took the time to do a little investigations to figure out a ‘player’ in a guild who is always top events was active or not. I was told they were essentially a ghost. They didn’t sign up for guild activities, didn’t have items funnelled to them and somehow always kept coming out on top last minute. Very disappointing and I regret spending money on this game. I’d highly recommend apple crack down on games that do this.

Good game just a pity if you want skins or goddesses you have to pay otherwise you miss out. Can you add a shop where you can purchase skins and goddesses after the event ends with like diamonds to make the f2p players a tad more competitive

One of my all time favorites…
One of the best IOS games of all times. So charming. Full of mini games and threads that you follow from era to era. Battle and strategy. Goddesses and great thinkers. Art and Civilization. Running businesses too. It’s truly a wonderful game. I hope this creator/developer is working on something else. I can’t find any game now to satisfy me now. Just like I felt after I got to the end of Balatro.

I really enjoy the game but I just got one problem that really annoys me, the red ! Still appears even when you don’t have anything to do there, it appears for watching ads and won’t go away till you watch all of them. Since watching ads is option, I would appreciate if that got removed. Thank you
