Hope you like grinding
It starts out fairly easy but pretty soon everything you need to progress will e essentially locked behind a paywall or you can grind for the one thing you need to upgrade your “heroes” which make no sense in this game and is purely a way to squeeze money out of you buying upgrade for them.
Ads never load
For some reason I can never get the ads to load when I try to get rewards from watching them
Came to a snails pace
It started out pretty nice but now I’ve been in a really slow period of progress with nothing to do but wait… (or pay $$) I know they want me to pay up, but it’s way too soon in the game to force you to pay. Deleted it.
Mixed feelings
It’s pretty fun but hunters refuse to hunt if I’m offline which is super annoying

Third City and Battles
Not sure why, but at the third city, the income is stumped and upgrading the fire just makes it easier for the survivors to die. I can’t get any meat at all. They put another city and three competitions out of no where. Which is too wasteful of my time. How do people handle all of these events at once?
Ads are becoming an issue
I’ve had this game for a few years now and is one of the few mobile games that I’ve really kept up with. The mini-games are diverse enough to be entertaining. That said, some of the ad lengths are getting ridiculous. Being forced to sit through two and a half minutes of unskippable ads is immensely frustrating, especially since thirty second ads used to be the norm. Please fix this.

Great but expensive and lots of bugs
This is a fun game but there are so many bugs. The app crashes frequently and drains my battery. You’ll also earn rewards in the mining sub-game but not able to collect them because of “insufficient points” despite you having more than enough points. I have also had to spend so much money to just to keep myself from falling behind. I’ve spent so much money that I’m tempted to uninstall the game. Lastly, the developers seem to be so focused on the sub games and they haven’t had an update to the main game. I’ve been waiting for what feels like months to be able to move onto a new city. I just feel stuck and wonder if the game is worth the money I’ve put into it. I’m leaning towards no.
Maybe??
A lot like Whiteout Survival from story line to graphics but they seem to always want to have a bunch of mini-game-side-quest going as well. This does give you much more to do in game. For the casual game it can also add more stress. This one does seem to run smoother than the other, as in I have had free issues with game performance or glitches :) so that is a plus. And it has not tried to force me onto a “world” map for player vs player or pushy guild recommendations. The interactive advertising however—those games are no where to be seen.

Fun & Sad
I’ve been playing this game for years and it’s been fun. Unfortunately it is broken and I feel they don’t plan on fixing it. In game chat has people posting that they are working on fixes but still broke. it’s been over a year or more and nothing has got better. They have a more polished version of it called whiteout survival I believe. Same basic concept. I don’t think it’s as much fun. So if you download and play this game do not spend money in game and know that there are a lot of bugs once you get to the mining part of the game. Broke as it is I’m still playing but wanted to warn others. When they maintained the game 5 stars now I’ll have to give it 1. Even though I’d be sad, they should shut down the game if they are not going to fix it.
So Many Paywalls
This game was fun in the early stages. It’s kind of mindless, as other reviews point out - you basically just collect stuff to upgrade other stuff until you can move on to another city. And that’s where the problem lies. After a few cities, there is one “hero” per each city that NEVER appears randomly. You have to buy them for $3.99, because what they produce is the critical component to upgrade everything else. I bought several heroes this way, hoping that I would eventually get lucky, but it NEVER happened. Look, I get it. Developers have bills to pay too. But to hamstring an otherwise good and fun game this way is OBNOXIOUS. At least make it possible to move on without spending weeks collecting the tiny drip of the un-heroed resource, even if I can’t be on the leader board- I don’t care about that anyway. I will not be playing any more games from this developer. Which is too bad, because this was an otherwise fun and engaging game.

A money drain.
To continue to play you have to spend money to get items. Like to level up the characters you need 240,000 for one upgrade of that item and 10.00 bucks may get you 15 million and you can’t even level up your worker cause you need 10 level ups to get another worker but the 10.00 only gets you to 9 now you got to spend more money to get there. It’s a drain game. Just drain your money into it. It’s fun. It’s just cost to much to play

U have to spend money to actually upgrade heroes fast enough i been playing this game for about a year now and i play it almost everyday an i only have one worker in all work areas like it takes so long like i cant believe the 4.8 stars!!!! look at the negative ones and an we all say the samething those are real one an there support team worthless I keep getting a black screen when collecting my rewards an they keep saying they fixed or it not happing an I have the screen record it just to prove the same thing I did week before

This game is the best game I have ever played in a while And the only time I have to watch ads is when I am getting a hero card or diamonds You guys should play this game but it is a bit confusing when everyone sleeping case I just have to wait for 5 min that’s a bit annoying but this games great.

Great but forced to spend
Game is pretty fun and relaxing, all the mini games they add keeps it fresh. Unfortunately you get to a point in the main game where they withhold a hero/survivor from you that you need to progress at a reasonable rate and what a coincidence he’s on sale. The ads aren’t intrusive and everything else is great except that 1 flaw
ADS TOO LONG
Come on guys now really I know I made a statement that I was not able to watch ads but before the ads were about five seconds even 15 seconds but 30 second ads guys 45 second ad guys really for the little amount of resources we have to wait 30 whole seconds it’s almost worth not even watching the ad now It’s taking too long, especially in the tournaments and I can’t level up quickly if I’m watching an ad.

Good, but Gets Greedy Fast
FINAL EDIT: Playing this game has destroyed my phone battery, and even though I really enjoyed the game itself, I completely regret ever playing it. Games that drain batteries so quickly should be prosecuted, because they’re literally stealing life away from the phone. Deleting game, and can’t replace phone for a long time. Thanks for nothing. Edit: What did you guys do to the game that my battery can be at 50%, then I open this game and in less than 10 minutes my battery drains to 15%??? I really like the game for a lot of reasons. But this is getting to be *really shady* 😳 Original: I like the balance between the main city efforts and the side events. But as you make it through completing cities, you start to need new heroes to make each building generate enough resources to continue progressing. At first, every hero gets unlocked pretty easily. But soon enough, not only does it take longer and longer to get hero cards, the red stuff to advance them, and the yellow stuff to raise their level, it starts to be impossible to get the first card of a hero to unlock it at all. Now, every time I tap a building without that necessary hero, a little prompt to buy it pops up. I’m sorry, but I will never pay for that. You already have ways to make money with diamond packs, resources, and various no ads options, as well as just giving the option of getting rewards by choosing to watch ads. But essentially *forcing* people to buy a “booster pack” to unlock heroes necessary to make your cities work at all is just over-the-top greedy. I know you need to make money. But some of us literally do not have any to spare. And if you guys don’t consider this issue, eventually I won’t be able to play this game at all, which at least you make some ad revenue off of. *Side Note: Why are the first few gameplay photos *NOT* of this game? Someone put the wrong photos in the game posting… 🤨
