Wedding event
We used this app for our wedding and it ended up being awesome. It’s pretty straight forward and easy to use, the only thing is it’s kind of annoying to have to remind all of your guest to keep using the app through the event, so if they added some sort of automatic reminder for the guest that scan the app, that’d be awesome. Overall great app
Not one photo
Doesn’t work correctly and there are not clear instructions to make this app worth it. I set out the codes for my wedding guests and not one photo arrived in this app.

Reviews must be lying
I paid for 175 people. I figured 100 may not be enough. I should have simply just not paid and had the free for 10 people. I had to help my girls get in. Then they had to help others. It was a disaster. Then when they uploaded pictures via camera it was counting down so they thought they had no more pics they could take so they quit taking pics. I asked POV support for a refund and they said Apple has to do it. So I am not sure what the POV support is good for. I would suggest not paying for the extra people and then letting a friend or sibling monitor and if you max out then upgrade to the next level. I even did a trial and it seemed to be easier but they didn’t scan - I sent them a link so perhaps the scan code is the confusing part. Anyway still may ask for a refund but it’s a lot of work. I did get some pics that are cute but not many. Updated months later: The company doesn’t do the refund. Apple would. It’s frustrating to download the pictures because you cannot organize or put them in an album. They just go to your phone. This is not worth the money.
Bit of a waste of money
I spent a lot of money on this app for my wedding as it said you didn’t need to download an app however when some of my guests scanned the QR code, they were told to download it. The QR code only worked straight away for some of my guests which resulted in this being a waste of money as most people didn’t want to download an app to take pictures.
Convenient and easy
This was a very convenient way to share photos. The group photos from everyone were ready very quickly. I would absolutely recommend this for any group event!

I paid for the most expensive package so guests would be allocated 25 photos. However the guests were only given 15
Great app, one improvement though
The app is great, fun to use and gets lots of different perspective on a trip! One improvement I think that can be made is the app automatically opening the camera for the active POV group you are in or at least the last one you had opened. It’s quite annoying opening up to a POV from 10 months ago that I don’t currently care for
Helt ok när den funkar
Man ska inte behöva ska på konto men vi hade flera gäster som tvingades skapa konton, funkade inte för flera och drog ur all batteri för några. Men gör dem de funkade för fick vi bra bilder ifrån och enkelt att ladda ner.

Disappointing
We were really excited for this, it’s a great idea and tested it out before buying and thought it was great because you didn’t have to download an app or sign into anything. Well we figured out that actually you did on the day of the party. Everyone was confused, we purchased for 100 people and only 20 ended up using it. It’s a great idea but be aware before spending money maybe there is another app that isn’t complicated for older people.
Used for reception
Was fun great photos but some had difficulty with the experience and getting it set up in the beginning because the do have to download and setup stuff so that took time away from the event itself self but mostly great
Grappig idee, maar wat kan je er vervolgens mee?
Leuk om de foto’s in de app te zien, maar je kunt er vervolgens weinig mee: 3 templates voor foto’s (bv polaroid met maar 3 foto’s per blaadje) en je kunt bv niet meteen een filmpje maken. Dat is jammer. Zou ook leuk zijn als je kunt selecteren of de namen vd maker zichtbaar blijven als je de foto opslaat/gebruikt. Resolutie is ook erg laag helaas.
Colouring.
Not the edit I expected. I expected the colouring to be more vintage.
Memories that last a lifetime
We used this app for my wedding day and it was so much fun to look back at everyone’s pov from a very special day. Now we are planning to use it for my wife’s 30th birthday and the app has updated to include so many cool features like this voicemail tool! Cheaper and cooler than having to wait for disposables!

Terrible! All the photos taken through the app are TERRIBLE grainy quality! I really hope there’s lots of people who took photos on their phone without the app because these are all grainy poor quality. Also there’s a time and app name stamp on all the photos that you don’t get the option to remove. The 200 photos o got from the app are unusable.
Amazing, not perfect
Used POV for our 3-day wedding. Three setups, three events, 150 guests. The experience of seeing the wedding through everyone's eyes is genuinely incredible and exactly what we hoped for. The shared album, the volume of unique angles, the disposable camera concept, all of it works. But two real shortcomings keep this at 4 stars instead of 5. 1. Photo quality is the big one. Guests shot on iPhone 17 Pros and other recent flagships, and a lot of the photos come back heavily compressed, with detail falling apart in any scene with complexity. I have shots from an iPhone 17 Pro that look pixelated for no reason. For an app built around capturing memories, image quality is exactly where I'd push hardest. As someone who cares about metadata, EXIF, and location info, that side could also be richer. 2. Event setup is rough. Customization is shallow: fonts, identity, copy, you can't really make it yours. Date handling is buggy: I set an event for 06/06 with an end date the next day, and it kept defaulting to wrong values. Manual fixes didn't always save. Small individually, but it adds friction in what's already a high-stress moment. The concept is brilliant and the core experience delivered. Fix the compression, tighten the setup flow, and this is an easy 5 stars.
Love the consent but...
The resolution of the final photos are terrible. Not usable for anything more than sosial media. Also I couldn't even get to my own photos until it got released by the "owner" of the event. I was waiting for the reveal the day after. But when the countdown was over I still had to wait to see my own photos for almost 36 hours. Just to be disappointed by the quality.

Wow!
This was absolutely amazing. We used it for my mother’s wedding this past weekend and wow. We got 500 photos from over 40 guests and it was absolutely wonderful. Saved us so much not having a photographer there and getting photos from family. Only one person was unable to use the app, but there was enough people to share phones and make it happen! Only wish is that it maybe had a couple more photos! But I found that photos were so much more meaningful with that limit too :) thank you POV!

Me instale la app para un evento próximo que tendré muy bueno todo pero sinceramente algo malo Esque es gratis para 10 personas y para más personas es sumamente caro Para mi lo mejor sería bajarle un poco los precios ya que en mi moneda por 250 personas son más de mil pesos
Great idea, but still some things to improve.
The idea is really great. It’s just annoying, that others need to download the app before adding photos to the album. In the ad it’s showed as if that’s a solved/no problem. Everything else is really cool!

Downloading the app it appeared to be exactly what I wanted however trialling the QR code you have to download the app to take photos. Not ideal as hardly anyone will want to do that during a wedding. Glad I wasted £30 and £50 printing QR codes that can’t be used
Disposables without disposing
Always great to whip out for a party, and 25 a head makes sure that people get the best photos for the night.

Just paid for an event but it hasn’t loaded and now the event has disappeared?? It said not to close but the listing had frozen for 30mins…

Good idea but bad photo quality
I‘ve tested the app on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and I was surprised about the bad image quality/resolution of the images. Compared with the onboard camera there is absolutly no zoom possible
great idea, a lot to improve
I love the idea of this app. There are still a lot of things to improve though. First thing: The camera filter is a bit too bluish, I would prefer a vintage look with a little brown, or maybe a few options to choose from. Also, there should be the option to edit the photos afterwards so that you can f.e. remove the filter if it doesn’t fit the picture. The quality of the photos is alright. For me personally it’s not a big deal that only up to 10 persons can join for free. You could also make two different shared albums so some photos are uploaded into the one, and some into the other. In addition, I think that the design is a little bit chaotic, at least the first (left) page. Maybe you could make it more simple. I like that you can quickly have an overview of the shared POVs though, that’s practical. Oh and also, you can only create a POV from now on until a certain day/time, but not „from x until x“! For example, if you already know when your party is gonna be, you could plan it beforehand and already send the QR codes. That would be a good option as well.

I’m in Sam Houston State University right now for their “Bearkat Kickoff,” and part of that is taking photos of buildings and landmarks around the campus. They gave us this app to download, I was skeptical at first but after uaing it for a bit all of that went away. It’s an easy to use camera app that hasn’t given me any issues yet. It’s simple to connect to your groups and save photos you take in them. 10/10
Didn’t work
Advertises that you don’t need to download anything, everyone that tried to scan the QR code was asked to either download the app or register an account. Not ideal in the middle of a party so we weren’t able to use it. Why it needs to capture your data is worrying!
Used for my wedding
I absolutely LOVE how these photos came out! They are so much fun and gave an amazing way to to see our wedding through the eyes of our guests. You just have to really make sure you have guests who are tech savvy and willing to use it.
Quite expensive
Each event with over 10 guests costs money. For a 100 guest party its already $ 25 each time…
Lots of potential
Really liking the concept of the app but sadly it’s storing pictures as 2 megapixels. We wanted to use this for our wedding but at 2mp we won’t be able to print the photos at a decent size afterwards.
Memories for a lifetime!
POV allowed our family & friends to capture my son & daughter-in-laws wedding photos all evening long. Well after the professionals left POV was still there catching images from all of our guest. Some moments we were apart of & others we didn’t miss because they were uploaded to POV. What a fantastic app & a place where memories of your dreams coming true can be shared with you well after the night has ended. Highly recommend this app. You will be thankful you used it!
Expensive
Really expensive when all it is, is a phone camera and you can only take a maximum of 25 photos each… you can make a WhatsApp group or private facebook group to share as many photos as you want with each other
