Buyer Beware SCAM
My guests didn’t use the app during my wedding. So I thought to just purchase the photo book for memories. It’s been a month and never received my order. Whenever I reach out to customer service they do not reply and I have to send multiple emails to get a response. I am filing a dispute with my credit card company.

i tried to make a photo memory on this and the process took me at least a week because i had to restart so many times because i would close app. i gave up on making a photo memory and so i tried a shared album and i had to pay for a book to even make one, and i just wanted an album. seems really nice if you put in the time and money

He descargado Dots para guardar las fotos de mi boda y que mis invitados puedan acceder al álbum sin problema desde la web pero una vez configurado no consigo q mi familia puedan acceder ver fotos de prueba no álbum actualizado, como puedo solucionarlo
It’s Pretty Great!
This app is perfect for keeping in touch and taking more photos. I think it’s a really cute idea, and it doesn’t take up too much storage. The only problem is that if you loose your streak but you took a picture that day and just didn’t post it, it won’t let you go and post it in that date, which is a little frustrating. Other then that, it’s a good quality app and I use it all the time!
Makes you pay
Downloaded this app as a fun way for me and my friends to keep in touch but it doesn't let you use it without having to pay. Very disappointing. DO NOT GET.

Contraté un paquete especial para mi evento y muchos invitados abandonaron el procedimiento y no tenían la app así a final de cuentas muy pocos me compartieron sus imágenes porque yo lo que menos tenía era tiempo para estarles asesorando

The only thing is that when ever I open dots it takes me to settings and I have to hit the back arrow to get back into dots or I have to leave settings and go back to dots. It does this everytime. It wastes my time and I don’t like it one bit.

The dotbook I ordered and payed for was not able to ship to me. I am outrageously frustrated because it gave no warning that it would not be able ship to the U.S . I am now stuck with a useless dotbook. BECAUSE IM NOT EVEN ABLE TO HAVE IT SHIPPED TO ME. The major inconvenience this is to me many may not understand but I payed full price for everything including a 300 page DOTBOOK. WHICH I WONT EVEN END UP GETTING. HORRIBLE APP, very inconvenient, inconsiderate, as well as the app is beyond inconsistent with updates and notifications.

Unable to download photos
SUPER FRUSTRATED. We used the app for our wedding and loved it but now no one can download the photos. When you click download it says “change download options in settings” but when you go to settings, there is no option to change the download options. So upset. Defeats the whole purpose of the app!!

UPDATE: customer service asked me to reach out to them regarding my issue so I did. They tested the link and it worked for them so they declined a partial refund for the lack of performance stating reasons that didn’t apply to me. I will not be using them for my upcoming events. I was originally between this app and another one- I recommend utilizing the other one. I removed my original 2 stars down to 1 simply for the lack of resolution. Original Review: I purchased one of the 12-month premium packages where guests can upload pics and videos was about $40. My guests had difficulty uploading to the app. Most said it never loaded or their photos and videos took too long to upload that it timed out, even being on WiFi. Waste of my money and time honestly to create this.

This application is very good, beautiful interface, convenient, everything is easy. Just please add the live photo function! That is, when I uploaded a live photo, it was not ordinary, namely live, like on an iPhone. If this feature were there, your app would be much better! I hope you will listen to my opinion!✨
QR Code keeps changing
I had high hopes for this app, but three times now they have changed the QR code and the old one doesn’t work. I’ve had to reprint materials for my wedding now THREE TIMES. At this point, this app is causing me to have to throw away a lot of money by having to keep reprinting materials.

I love this app because if you have a best friend and you are scared of moving away you can always remember that you will be together and have a photo album of all the things you did together and the memories you made. 🩵 Just because you are moving away physically it doesn’t mean your best friend will always be in your heart 💙

Great App!
I love this app and I’ve been using it for storing photos that I otherwise would have deleted! It’s super easy to use and the concept is amazing. However, it would be great if there were more options in setting, especially regarding account information. If there was a way that I could change my password and email, it would be awesome. Overall a very nice app that helps save storage on your phone.
No puedo cargar nada
Todo iba perfecto, de mis apps favoritas, ya casi llego al nivel 5. Pero actualmente no me deja subir NADA, ni videos, ni fotos. Ya eliminé y volví a instalar la app y aun así no me deja, AYUDA. 😭
Too laggy
Besides the lagginess and barely being able to tell if I’m actually uploading photos or not, the concept of the app is really nice. I do think the developers need to work on the bugs and unfortunately I would prefer using POV over Dots. When using this app for a wedding it makes it a bit hard just because of the bugs because the bride and groom want to see all the memories asap, now everyone’s stressed trying to get pictures to everyone lol. But seriously lovely concept lovely app just needs a few fixes. ❤️

my app told me i couldn’t get on it. i created a new account and joined the old group i was in with my boyfriend. now it won’t let me see the pictures or upload them. i love the idea of the app but if it doesn’t work then there’s no use to have it.

I have already posted a review, but this is my 2nd one for an update! Please Add: • a ‘play’ icon in the corner so that people know a video is going to play instead of a photo. • FULL length caption, so we don’t have to click “more” on each caption longer than 2 words • a tab for only videos, scrolling similar to reels! THANK YOU! For those reading: you CAN now update a caption after posting a photo or video. The app does allow videos to be posted (I believe max 2 mins!) Updated AGAIN! May 2025: Thank you for adding **5 minute** videos!! Wooooo!!
Album code changes
Paid for & created an album for my wedding and spent a lot of time uploading photos. Sent out wedding thank yous including a card with my album QR code and album code to my guests, only to find out afterwards that the album code had changed. Now nobody can access it unless I send them the updated code individually. There does not seem to be any way to contact support in the app. If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t waste my money on this.

Not a great experience
I’d like to request a refund. After scanning the QR code, it requires our guests to download the app. And the app requires to create sections/categories of the events (pre-wedding, ceremony, reception, etc). And the shared link via email doesn’t work. And the link on this app page to reach out to the creator is no longer active. I gave it 2 stars because the UI is pretty. Oh, and for some reason, it requires entering my birthday. Needless to say, I did NOT add a birthday and instead added a random day. Lastly, the IG ad says it’s free. It is NOT free.
Great app but doesn’t need the chat option
I got this app to help share photos with my co-parent and ex in laws but looks like I won’t be able to use it as there is no way to turn off the chat function. It is court ordered my children are not aloud to talk to their bio parent unless it’s through the approved parenting app. I do not like that you can’t turn off the chat option. This should be a easy fix for the app developer as a option for its users. I will rate it 5 stars once it has that option.

Poor functionality, no refund option
The app looks fancy from the UI side, but not native from the side of people who upload photos. I wasn't offered a trial to check how it works, I paid $24 for the album, sent a QR code to my friend so she could go in and check how she would with no registration to upload photos - using the QR code with a link to my album, she could only download the app and even scanning it again to still go to the album to upload photos WITHOUT REGISTRATION (this feature has already been paid for) she has no way not to register. Then, registering with Google - no problems, registering with Apple - the app crashes. Also, natively the app can’t be understandable to everyone, and she tried to upload photos, they are not displayed in the album either for her or me. I received a notification that she uploaded the photos in 30 minutes (there were only 3 photos, come on guys), and when I tried to find them - I had to re-enter the album many times. Then I paid an extra $10 so that the guests wouldn't download the app, but it didn't change the process and everyone will take pictures on their phones. That said, the app looks nice, but I wish it was more practical, and I wouldn't want to lose photos from the wedding just because the app wasn't practical. Also, when I wanted to find out how to get a refund and cancel the purchase, I couldn't find information about it anywhere, the corresponding menu, or payment information. Since the purchase is made inside of the app with wallet app (Apple), the billing information is not displayed in the App Store. If you write to support, you are redirected to the Instagram page's chat. So thank you to the developers for the extra stress before the wedding. Since they don't have a refund function available, I will mark the transactions as fraud. By the way your legal terms are also poorly drafted. I found so many critical bugs just in 1 hour, so maybe you should to fire your QA team and hire me.

Buena pero falla mucho
El concepto es increíble, realmente me gusta mucho pero al menos en iOS falla mucho, está muy mal optimizada, no puedo cargar más de 5 fotos/videos sin que tarde años en subir, tengo que hacerlo de 1 por 1. No hay opción de cancelar subida de archivos, estaría bueno que lo implementen ya que tengo archivos desde hace meses “cargando” y ni se suben y tampoco puedo cancelarlos. También deberían implementar que una vez subido el archivo te de opción de agregarlo a más álbumes, sé que la opción se encuentra antes de subirlo pero también estaría bien que se pueda implementar después. También me falla mucho al descargar fotos que amigos subieron, o a veces ni puedo descargarlos. Muy rara vez llegan notificaciones.

I love this app so much! Me and my friends use it all the time. I do wish that you added the red notification bubble on the Home Screen when someone else adds to an album. Other than that the app is wonderful!
Es buena pero no lo suficiente
En lo personal me gusta demasiado la app pero al momento de subir mis fotos al calendario no les aparecen a mis amigos, tiene información errónea al decir el número de miembros que forman parte del álbum y también baja un poco la calidad de algunas fotos y vídeos, fuera de todo eso es bonito poder compartir los momentos con amigos.

La app es buena pero al llegar al nivel 4 te pide iniciar sesión 10 días y solo marca 5 días y de ahí ya no sale y pues ya no puedo subir mas fotos por que ya llego al límite😞, pero la calidad en que se guardan los videos y fotos es buenísima
