Great game, only issue I’m having with the game is it really likes to crash when I enter combat with another ship. Game loads pretty quick and it seems to save my progress with the fight if I win or lose it’s just annoying I can’t participate in any of the gameplay in the pvp mode
Constant Crashing
This game has some potential. But it causes my phone to overheat within seconds of opening and crashes non-stop.
Pretty fun
Pretty fun simple game that you can play a few minutes a day or longer when strategizing your ship design. Still a work in progress. It is very annoying that you can very very easily lose in game currency with a tiny click. Lost a months worth of it all at once. No confirmation or anything. It’s happened half a dozen times due to the UI but the most recent time caused me to lose 3/4 of all of it that i had been working on building for a long time
It’s very good
It’s very good, but there’s a bunch of bugs some 3-D rooms bug out and go in a different axis then what’s supposed to do and the voice dialogue bugs out sometimes besides those glitches the game is very good. Keep updating this game.
This place is toxic and mean towards new players.
Sure the game is fun but it gltichy ad heck and then the hate and the attacks from peoplewhen i trie to ask for help they dont do much theybasicslly when i talk they dont asnwer or say i know what to do so they are no help at all i basiaclly relied on my self alot ok so yeah keep in mine is toxic ok it need improve ments before i bump it up to 5 stars thanks .
Just started
I’ve been playing the first game for years and can say this is a big improvement to the original game play! My only complaint is the music is not as interesting as the first one.
The tutorial is broken
I’m not sure if it’s just my iPad being old or there is something very wrong with this app.If you don’t follow every goal the right way, the game softlocks and you have to restart it. I’ve restarted 4 times and when I asked about it in the chat they told me to not chat until a specific level. That’s not cool.
I want to throw money at this but I can’t
Game is riddled with bugs, like winning a fight and in doing so loosing xp and currency due to a bug, it’s fun don’t get me wrong but makes me want to stroke out due to factors out of my control bug wise.

Better than pss 1
For someone who played pixel star ships 1, I can say that here things seem more controlled. In a sense that you can use crewmates to affect certain systems. Would I recommend you play it 100 precent! but hey maybe thats becuase I am easily impressed. as for problems this game has a bunch of bugs! for example if you spam star bar pulls some cards may dissapear. i am unsure if the devs listen to player feedback or even care, but I am a pss 2 fan forever now!
First was better
So far, this one has you only in one solar system, far less to do, and a big pay wall and you have to grind (wait hours and days) to upgrade just to be able to do the next mission. First one was better by far, this one sucks
It’s a fun game but I feel like it could be better.
The game is fun to play but it feels very slow paced. Everything in the game has to take a certain amount of time to upgrade and some upgrades take hours to completely making the game feel very slow paced. I wish there were more ways to get Starbucks so you could max out all of the builder bot slots easier and have more parts upgrading all at once instead of only one at a time.

Good game BUT broken and some things seem copied and pasted
I’d give 5 stars but there’s some things I’d like to go over with. Ok so overall, game seems good and has potential BUT I can’t tell if some things were just lazily copied and pasted from the first game or the features weren’t fixed. For instance, there’s a message saying somewhere that players can revenge attack you if you attack them, yet I haven’t even found a way to see if you’ve been attacked besides finding the wins and loses on your profile. BUT, the feature where you don’t lose resources if you get attacked and you lose, so it won’t make some people rage out of the game. Now for the game breaking bug, you can’t get past the “diplomacy envoy” mission. Not saying it’s too difficult, I mean once you get to the system, the mission isn’t found anywhere and prevents further progression through missions. Now you’re still able to upgrade stuff and aren’t completely soft locked, you cannot explore anywhere else you haven’t already. The market seems different too, it uses ONLY the money system (similar to gems instead of coins where you get them overtime, you gotta pay for them). And with the diplomacy envoy bug, you can’t get good loot or things to sell on the market. So overall: good game, seems to be still in development, some things seem copied and pasted, but still overall fun with some interesting mechanics like the O2 system.
Arrange rooms often cause error
Arrange some rooms causing errors and cant process the arrangement. Additionally, app keeps asking to download more resources every time that pop off the main screen

Game seemed fun, but may not work well on a phone. Things seem very small.
Promising but messy
So disappointed by this. As others warned, it’s very buggy. I had to restart the game multiple times through the tutorial. The visual design is also all over the place. If can’t make its mind up wether it wants to be gritty and realistic, fun 3d, retro pixel characters or cheap anime/manga often having all styles on the screen at once. It also does a terrible job of telling you how to actually play. Just a mess. Such a shame because otherwise it’s like a mmo ftl, but it feels like it’s been thrown together with very little concern of how good the final product actually is. Real shame. Would be willing to give it another go in the future if they do a big update to make it feel finished.
Bringing back the Past
Game is fun, my only issue is I’ve set the language to English but often the “people” talking or the chat option for the main quest are in another language. Resetting the language does not fix the issue.

Help me
I am trying so hard to like this game. Just got it today, and so far I have ran into 3 problems. One of those being a bug, the other 2 being maybe bugs. 1st one. In my main mission bar or whatever it is, it shows a completed mission that gives me 99 black squares… I tap on it, doesnt do anything. Have refreshed the game, have tried to fix corrupted files, nope. 2. It sends access resources to my mail..l but when I try to take them out of the mail, if I can’t hold that amount, it says, access will be sent to mail. Ok, good. I take that, doesnt allow me too because I need more storage… but you just said it will just send access to storage? Anyways, I have all these resources in the mail that I can’t use because I can’t hold them. 3. It will not allow me to put people from the crew bar to the actual starship… I have 2 people in the crew bar, yet I still had to buy another guy instead of just being able to drag from the bar to my ship. besides these 3 games, the game is enjoyable. These 3 issues remove only 2 stars, 1. because I really want to like this game, and 2, the last 2 issues are probably me being stupid. I recommend this game, it’s approved by me, a free to play player. Anyways, please help me with my issues, and I will move my rating up. Thank you. Update: Issue 1 has been resolved, thank you.

Interesting just don’t get it.
I’m a fan of complex games, but this one I just don’t understand what I’m supposed to be doing. I don’t see that this title is overly complex just ….. well no need to repeat myself. The graphics are nice. It’s worth checking out and the players are helpful without the typical toxicity of other chat enabled titles. As much as NetEase Eve Echoes infuriates me with monetization and gambling I guess I’m just stuck with it. :(
Fantastic sequel to an already excellent game!!!!
I’ve been playing the Pixel Starships game for about six months and I’m excited that your studio is doing well enough that you were able to produce a sequel and so far in my experience I’m still in the tutorial, but I am very much enjoying the graphics as well as the voice acting for all the various tutorial prompts and such. I’m excited to see how the story campaign goes. I appreciate all your hard work. I’m a big-time fan.
Fun Game
So bug ridden its literally unplayable. The developers should have some pride in their work and stop releasing slop. Game is unplayable since last update, crashes at the start of every single PvP combat. Game crashes on the lowest graphics setting, and after reinstall. The fancy camera motion and transition scenes are completely unnecessary. This game worked well before recent updates. 2/25/26 Great game when its working. Servers are the bery definition of laggy, savvy soda cheaps out on servers. Both starship pixel games are ultra laggy. 3/9 … PvP still bugs and crashes during opening PvP animation, game is unplayable. 3/14 .. Always crashes during PvP opening animation. Please fix!!! …. bug ridden mess, completely unplayable after updating 3/16 … disappointing. Uninstalling this mess.
Glitch I found
Loving this game so far obviously new and there are glitches because of it and one that was most upsetting was completely losing my ability to upgrade 2 rooms at the same time I spent the 250 bux in the lab to unlock tha ability and the game just took it away from me now I can only upgrade one room again so bux wasted. Would like to see that fixed but all else is great
Poorly planned launch
Initially excited to play. Game has good fundamentals and original was awesome. But this new version is plagued with multiple problems.
Way to many notifications
This could be a really fun game but they went way overboard on notifications. Do I care if my crew ran out of coffee? No. Coffee isn’t even a resource you can make in the game it’s just an excuse to nag a player to play the game. Maybe I want a game I can play on my schedule, not every 5 minutes every day… seriously I just closed the app and I get 3 more notifications about BS that has absolutely nothing to do with gameplay. You didn’t even fix the problems from the original pixel starships - there’s only one strategy… go for the reactor. It’s got low health and if it goes down all the ships systems power off.

These games would be great but so many bugs 90% of the time you go to battle pvp or mission the app force exits and you have to reload they just did an update and I tried clearing cache reinstalling and fixing errors in the settings by patching never works so waste of time
Pretty good game base
I rlly liked the first game and I’ve been so excited for the sequel, and I like it! There are some bugs, particularly one big nasty bug where every time I do any mission, the dialogue’s language changes every page. It’s rlly, REALLY annoying, but otherwise I absolutely LOVE the game so far :)
Slightly disappointed
So far it’s a copy paste of the first game, except at the moment it’s like beta version of the first game. Incredible amount of server lag and bugs. Considering the first one is intensive and punishing due to the nature of nerfs and length of time to achieve anything. This feels like a pretty bad cash grab rather than passion project
Excited for the future
The game remains unoptimized in a nostalgic way that reminds me of pixel starships 1, random text and visual errors that litter the game in mostly harmless ways, but I can’t wait to see the future of polishing for the game

A lot of potential to be a great game. They need to add a pause or turn based option for pve. I dont want to sic chatgpt and bluestacks on the app just to have a fair chance against story content
Play the first one
Ai says number 2 is more pay to win heavy with some things locked behind pvp. They removed the ads and want to focus more on wallet. Ai recommends first one as it still gets updates and is more free to play friendly.
Great but buggy
It’s a great game I loved the first one and I’m sure I’ll love the second but there are so many bugs and glitches for example if you upgrade your ship parts of the scaffolding I’m assuming glitches through your ship and blocking your view.
Unplayable
I have had multiple attempts to play this game and the bugs make it a waste of time. I kept reaching a point where the current task is to “rearm”. There is no button or option for this or a decent. Restarted over and over only to get to the same task. You cannot do anything else from here on as a message is displayed to “complete current task first. Waited over night for the task to refresh. Now it’s gone and the new task is 3 pvp battles, I still get the same task error as above.
Can’t proceed forward
Reached a point and the game wont let me purchase or build anything. So now I’m just stuck. Game is fun and fresh with the new visuals but still really buggy. Found I would have to wither go to a different window or close the game entirely to continue to proceed through things, but now none of that is working.

I played the first game when I was like 11 I think I’m 21 now surprised me when this came out you guys went all out runs smooth looks good like to good to be free if you want a good mobile game this is it finally a good mobile game for once
Loading Issues
Would love to play this on my iPad Pro and it’s so much fun but I frequently have to reinstall which takes the fun away… good game but not stable enough to justify one’s time.

Have always loved pixel starships and this game is fun with great potential. Only note is the the game does need some bug fixes. For example, the upgrade to construct multiple things at once doesn’t work right now (or at least not for me), so please work on on the bugs devs.
No better point
Overall Review: Why Shouldn't I Just Play the Pixel Starship 1? Compared to the first installment, this sequel shows almost no significant improvements in core mechanics (aside from minor adjustments like the oxygen system). The ground combat has changed its presentation but remains terrible, while ship battles have become more sluggish and lack counterplay options. The most unacceptable aspect is the visual quality. The first game cleverly sidestepped this issue with its pixel art style, but the sequel's shift to 3D graphics only amplifies its technical shortcomings. This low-quality 3D art style genuinely makes it hard to keep playing.
Good game, just pay to win heavy.
It’s a good game, but the amount of time that updates, research, repairs all grow exponentially to the point where any real progress either slows to a crawl or requires you to pay for in game currency.
