Terrible app
How is it in 2026, they can’t make a decent app, somehow all the episodes before you watch them are at the end credits, and there is no way to restart an episode so you have to manually reverse it. The app is glitchy and requires a restart every once in a while.
Voiceover
Pleasa make the app more support fo voiceover
Lacking
No built in screen shot tool, random dimming of videos for no reason I can find that isn’t reflected on other apps, difficulties going in and out of window in window, I could go on. I have IQIYI, Tencent, and youku and youku is the one I find myself liking the least.

Dubbed and subtitled
Im Asian and live in the USA. I first downloaded the app in my phone to see if there my language dubbed and yes there is. So I subscribed and downloaded the app in TV, but i cant change to any languages dubbed. Yes, there is my language subtitle but it’s so small and cant change size. It’s so annoying.
bagaimana cara menghapus dubing bahasa ketida, sangat mengganggu.
tolong jangan ada dubbing.
Promotion not a promotion 😡
I saw a special package for $0.99 and thought it would last for at least a week, but it only gave access to a couple of episodes. That’s on me for assuming, so fine. Then I decided to purchase the VIP option because it showed a 40% discount from$5.99 to $3.59, which sounded like a great deal. But there was no discount at all — I was charged full price. It’s not about the money, it’s the false advertising that’s frustrating. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but now I understand why the reviews are sitting around 2.5 stars. I really disappointing with this app! The reason I gave you this much is because of Zhang Linghe’s movie otherwise -0 😡😡
Subscription
I paid for the VIP subscription & watched 4 VIP episodes but when I tried to watch the 5th one, it said only vip can watch it .?? I’m confused .you guys are just tryna scam people out of money or what ?
ชอบมากแต่ต้องปรับหน่อยน่ะครับ

Sign up/ login process outdated
I tried to login in to my Roku tv but it said it needs a Username and password, but I couldn’t see a way to find the password, because I made an account with google. Update the app on the Roku tv. It needs to show a login using google option. Fix now!

Meh
Charged $13 for this app “members only” then to be told pay $4 for vip to continue watching. So like that’s what o just paid $13 for but um okay. So I guess I’ll watch my shows elsewhere
Good price but app needs some serious updates
I’ve been using this app mostly on my AppleTV 4K streaming device for over two years off/on without many issues. Created account using my Gmail then login on AppleTV 4K. The subscription price within the app can sometimes be more expensive or cheaper. When compared to the price within in iPhone under your account/subscription section. There you can always see different subscription plans/price. It takes a few minutes for subscription to activate. May need to reboot the app a few times as well to be able to watch. There are some pretty good dramas and they have some great donghua anime that I really enjoy. The app can use some major user intuitive updates. Subtitles sometimes will change on its own then I have to change back to English. Can be annoying at times. Will be nice if the app can track what episodes you’ve watch to pick up where you left off on. The search filter function can be better and is also annoying. My major complaints is there’s no 4K resolution content. Admin pleased update to have 4K streaming.

MONEY HUNGRY
Already paid VIP and still asking for more money to watch other episodes. Money hungry app 🙄
Language support
Please dubbing in Punjabi , hindi. Language
Payment issue
I just pay for 3 months service it asking to pay again
Sneaky app
This app is a sneaky one. I stopped suggesting it to people. Lets you watch show: one, two, three episodes in when you’re really hooked, SLAP! Paywall!! Want to finish series? Pay us for that. You have basic, pay to get subscription or premium, depending on the show and how popular it is in its home country OR how much in demand internationally. One way or the other, you Do Not get to see a complete series on the basic app level, only enough to ‘push’ you into a subscription.
Convenient to watch Xiao Zhan
I downloaded the app just to watch Xiao Zhan, this is the only app to watch his Legend of Zang Hai. I know I need to pay membership to watch, but that is fine.
False advertising
Limited shows and overcharged.
Good
Please make the subtitle a bit bolder and more visible. Other than that the app works fine.
Subtitles unreadable
The app is great my only issue is with your subtitles. How do you expect anyone to read the subs if it has no background. Reading white subtitles on white hard sub Chinese text makes it very hard to understand what’s being said. Please fix it so there’s an option to add a background to the subtitles making it easier to read.
Frustrating
I just downloaded this app today and have one big problem that I can find no answer to. I don’t like the live comment bar and want to turn it off, but cannot find any instruction online nor in the help section of the app. Where can this be hidden? I find the rest of the app quite easy to use and am happy to see some of the dramas I could not find on other platforms.
Please fix the problems
You people need to fix the computer already pay 18 oct.2024 so didn’t take the many because I need to wait the day when I have to renew, but already take the many,on 1 November 2024 I have problem I wat to see the drama i cudent see you people send I have to renew again already pay,I want my many back, I like yours drama but all ways is a problem I know Nelly all the actors and actress,is no good for them, of course this complain is goin to APP OFICE.
What a lousy app
Your app sucks!
The application is hot again
Please fix the app soon, it’s getting hot again when watching the movie, please fix asap
Brightness auto adjusts on own
I even turned off my auto adjust brightness on my phone, turned off dark mode, and the app still turns dark randomly even on the highest brightness. There is no setting to change this and I can’t login online to adjust settings
Waiting for the Apple TV app
Would give more stars if I was able to watch on the tv. Please release the app soon. Thanks.
SUBTITLES COULD BE BIGGER OR IN A DIFFERENT COLOUR
I like this app very much but it is very difficult to read the subtitles sometimes when they show up against a lighter colour, could you please make them larger or enclose them on a darker background. Thank you, content is very good too.
Don’t subscribe annually
The app is under development for loading slowly and hard to find good dramas. Not a friendly app
Good Shows
Pretty soild amount of shows and even had the one i wanted to view. However finding the cancel membership button is quite tricky as I still haven’t find it.
Paywalls behind subscription
Buggy subs. So many paywalls behind not so VIP subscription. Canceling mine
Regular interruptions when watching
It always shows downloading circle when watching very annoying.I’m a vip member and not happy
Hidden love
Brilliant drama and acting

Hi Team, why is ep 9 not out yet?Couls you please inform something to the fans. We are feeling very unsure about this series.
Many issues
VIP only works via mobile. On tv, it tells me to Buy VIP. It’s annoying. And I feel Like I should get a credit for that inconvenience. The subtitles. You can’t see them on so many scenes. No option to change format. Algorithm. You’ll never know what’s new. You can’t create a watch list. It’s just not user friends. Like They’re not Investing in developers and product managers.
Where’s the APPLE TV APP?
Why isn’t there an YOUKU App on APPLE TV? I’m a VIP Member and would like to watch it on television without having to airplay it. Please make an APPLE TV VERSION Of the YOUKU APP Please 🙏🏼 🙏🏼#*The English subtitles keeps turning itself on/off, even though it’s selected. I have to keep pressing the English subtitles over and over again for the words to appear.🙏🏼 #*The Fast forward feature is really slow and clumsy 🙏🏼#*The selection/browsing feature on the app isn’t as clear as it can be. I t shows the same show titles for different language subtitles all at the same time, instead of just the English version that I’ve selected.🙏🏼 #*The show categories isn’t as clear as it can be. 🙏🏼#*Please see and copy the functions and layout of the Perfectly Flawless - ‘VIKI RAKUTEN APP’ (because it works perfectly on iPhone and Apple TV)- for example of a Perfectly Awesome, EASY TO USE and NAVIGATE, FUNCTIONS PERFECTLY ALL THE TIME, SUBTITLES WORK ALL THE TIME, and just a PERFECT APP all around! 🙏🏼#*Please copy their App functions and layout!🙏🏼 #*More Costume Dramas/ Xianxia dramas Please!🙏🏼 #*Plus I’ve noticed that the dramas on your app is severely edited, I mean lots of scenes completely cut out, in some series, almost half of the movie has been cut out. I know this because on the RAKUTEN VIKI APP the same series is longer and complete without scenes missing like on your app. = VIP YEARLY CUSTOMER.
EXPRESS PACKAGE for VIP seems not available in AU
Giving it 5* simply for the developers effort in reading our reviews and taking actions for making the app much more enjoyable. Big improvement indeed i can now finally watch it on my IPAD in a big screen. However there seems to be in an issue regarding the EXPRESS PACKAGE, being in a year subscriptions to get VIP I can’t seem to access EXPRESS PACKAGE. I hope you will be able to fix the issue soon 😊
Can’t log in on tv app
I’ve started a subscription and deleted it in the same day. Everything was fine of my phone. Downloaded the app on my tv and nothing I did would let it log in. I was constantly told my email/username was innocent after JUST making the account. I’ve tried all day to make it work. Nothing. So I just deleted it.
Wish I could cast to my TV
Love the selection of shows and movies, but this app would be better if it allowed casting so I could enjoy them on my TV
Subtitles
I’m having an issue with two different types of subtitles overlapping it has Chinese and then English layered over that and it won’t let me turn the Chinese subtitles off
Thanks for the help but still needs improvement
Still cannot download and sign into laptop to watch. Also cannot cast onto Apple TV to watch drama :)
