Great Content
I love this platform! It has terrific diverse content that I love! It feels like every one has space here to enjoy! My only 2 wishes: the player would fast forward without pausing and I could separate organize my watch list.
Not available in my region
The app doesn’t allow any content to play for me, saying they aren’t available in my region, on any device. I’ve tried my TV Roku, my tablet, even my phone. Every single time it says every series or movie isn’t available in my region. Every show. Nothing plays for me. I’ve reached out to get help like 8 times in the past few weeks and I’ll get one reply and then nothing. I know which ones are available in my region, it’s just the app that won’t work. Logging in and out, updating apps, nothing works. And nothing plays. I pay for my subscription but I can only watch on an internet browser which is really inconvenient. I just want the app to work again. The email responses I’ve gotten I’ve replied every time with everything they ask me for. My IP address, the devices I’m using, how every single show on the platform app won’t play, but then I never hear back again. It’s sad to pay for GagaOOLala and nothing works.
Please add an Apple TV app!
I would really like an Apple TV option so I can watch it on my television and enjoy it more comfortably with family and friends. I don't use it on mobile devices because it drains the battery and causes the battery to overheat. I hope you can help soon and create an Apple TV version. Thanks.
My opinion. do not recommend
I got this app after seeing lots of people get it, but I regret it. Literally all of the gay/BL shows are only vip and I’m not paying for vip to watch shows. Some of them are free, but only one or three episodes are. So I do not recommend this app unless you’re willing to pay 8 dollars a month.
Subtitles
The white subtitles are difficult to read. When the background is white, I miss the words completely. Please change the subtitles to black or another contrasting color. Other than that, the app itself has a good selection.
Please fix
I use the TV app and I love it but, could you please have the option in profile or settings to make the text larger and with a black background. I know that option exists in other formats of this app. The subtitles completely disappear whenever there’s a light background in the series. Thanks!
Fixed
The app is amazing but there’s a big problem with the subscription because I tried so many times to pay and subscribe to upgrade to VIP but every time I upgrade to VIP nothing works. I tried everything to see why it still wasn’t letting me watch VIP even though I paid it for the subscription. Even contacting GagaOOLala didn’t work
No continue section
I love the app but I keep running ínto the same issues where my shows I’m watching don’t come up in a continue section so I have to search the show up and remember what episode i was on.
Not the best
Several things annoy me about this subscription. First I use it on the tv, if that makes a difference. First problem: it doesn’t keep track of what episode you left off. I have to make a note and refer back to it every time I go to watch something on my list. Second, you cant set up the caption background and expect it to stay. The captions are white and if you want to read the clearly you need to change the background color. The part that is really annoying is, even if you watch several episodes in a row, EACH episode you have to reset the background. It has no memory from one to the next. And because of this don’t expect it to keep the setting when you come back to it either. These are simple things I expect a PAID SUBSCRIPTION to fix. Currently, these issues will convince me to stop my subscription when it’s over.
Please fix it
I enjoy the app, but I can never get the subtitles to work properly on my phone or my tv no matter how often I reset or close out and go back in. I currently can’t even get the videos to play. I want to be able to keep enjoying the shows but I have to have the subtitles in order to understand what’s going on.
Amazing for all my BL
I absolutely love this app the only downside I can give is all BLs are not available to all regions so unfortunately there are some that you can’t watch due to geo-restrictions. Other than that though I absolutely love this app!!
I can’t even sign up / sign in
I try to sign up maybe 5-10 times each time it says a code will be sent to my email I never get the code I wait until it says resend never get it I try again it still doesn’t send.
TV App
I really love this app and enjoy all the shows they have available. However, there isn’t an app for Apple TV or FireTV.
Buggy
My problem is no matter how many times I close out of the app and try again it will not work. The screen keeps freezing and the app does not respond to the touchpad movement. 1/10 the times I tried, the subtitle bar or playback speed both could not move away from the screen by trying to exit. I really want to watch a movie, but there no way to navigate the app its like it can’t even register that its open even after waiting a few minutes to provide extra time just in case it was lagging.
Fix the frequent glitches
I love this app and its wide variety of BLs, especially JBLs, but please fix the glitch where the speed menu shows up and doesn’t go away. This happens frequently and is so annoying.

No AppleTV App
It’s 2026 yet GagaOoLala devs still think it’s acceptable to not create a native AppleTV app for their customers. They have apps for Android TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV. They’ll tell you to use Airplay yet it is wonky when it works and it drains the battery of your iPhone. I won’t subscribe again or recommend this service to others until there is a native AppleTV app.

When are y’all gonna make an app for the APPLE TV? I am tired of having to switch to a ROKU when I wanna watch shows on your app. Especially when I am paying for my subscription with my APPLE account…

Tech Issues
I live in the United States and every show is saying not available in my region. And the Contact Us option on the app is so slow and buggy.
Essential for BL aficionados
Strong for Japanese and Korean BL, and it has more Chinese than one would expect, but it is relatively weaker for Thai. The app is known for being buggy but I have not had a serious problem with it. For the one bigger problem I had, their customer service was excellent and fixed the issue immediately with no bother.
Love the content if i was able to view it
I have had this issue multiple times. I pay my membership and it has it registered in my subscriptions but the app wont register that i have paid the membership and it wont let me view anything. This is basically just stealing at this point and a 3 day wait to hear anything back honestly sucks! I wish this could be fixed because I would like to be able to view the content im paying for

I signed up for the app because of one show. I was excited to see there are many others that i like. But it doesn’t work. I paid for VIP and it doesn’t work. It takes forever to load, it gives me 3 shows and kicks me out after 5 minutes of watching if it actually starts. If doesn’t matter if it is tv or phone app. Its happens on both. I’m about to drop this app because at the moment it’s a waste of money. Please fix it!!

Changing to vip
I have tried to get my membership changed to vip several times but am unable to get it changed. I pay for vip but unable to get vip features. Sent msg to customer service they responded but still could not get designation changed. So I dropped it again.. have subscribed 2-3 times can’t get anything resolved so I have dropped it again. I am done
Subtitles
Subtitles don’t work, I can’t turn them on. I tried clicking on the section that should turn them on, but it just sends me to shows that have english subtitles (that i still can’t turn on) I looked on FAQ but the solution there must not be up to date with the new version, as it won’t work. Please fix it!!

Paid for a bio subscription, but I don't get VIP access. I've noticed on the reviews They have an auto generated message that apologizes and says give them a chance to recover, however the new updated version of this app says that they took care of the bugs and all the other difficulties, but that has still not changed. There are still bugs hard to access VIP even after paying I think they should shut the app down fix it then take peoples money for what it's worth instead of taking peoples money and not giving them what they paid for. I'm not the only person that this has happened to.
The content is great but the app is disappointing
So I love the shows. But what is up with the app? Serious question. It’s been missing some basic controls for years! 10 seconds forward, 10 seconds back. The continue watching part is only good for a couple of days. I literally have no idea what chapter I am on for any of my shows and so if I find them somewhere else I watch it there. Don’t know which episode I’m on. Don’t know where in an episode I stopped. I have dropped series just because I have no idea which episode I should watch next. In 2022 you could overlook it, in 2025 there’s been no progress. I’m paying for something I avoid and obviously that isn’t going to go on much longer.
Good content but app has bugs
The app is buggy and sluggish. I do love their content and hope they improve! Also very annoying to only have monthly subscription option. Where are the annual subscriptions?? Ugh

Content isn’t bad but the media player is archaic. Still no fast forward or rewind, autoplay either doesn’t work or doesn’t exist

Best app ever the fact that I can now Chromecast. I love it!!!
Paid but NO VIP access given
I purchased the VIP subscription on March 26. I am still listed as a general account with no access to VIP services. I’ve contacted GagaOOLala multiple times with proof of purchase and still have no service. Don’t use this app. They will steal your money and ignore you!
Subscription
I subscribe to the vip update but I still can’t get access to vip contents. I sent an email about three days ago but haven’t gotten any response yet.
Frustrating
Most of the time this app works fine on my iPhone. Frequent bugs include general playback error messages and that subtitles will randomly stop showing up in the middle of viewing a show. What’s the most frustrating is that I used to be able to watch subtitled content with my Roku on my television but the subtitles stopped working a few months ago and I cannot get them to show up no matter how often I update or delete and reinstall the apps. Please fix this issue. I’d hate to cancel my subscription, but if I’m only able to use it on my mobile device I will have to do so. Thanks.
I have a love hate relationship with my app.
I really loved it when I first got it and went for a vip membership it was BL heaven, but the last few days I cannot play a video all the way through without it stopping and having an error. On both my app and on Safari for my iPad, everything is up to date so it’s irritating to have to fight to watch all the way to the end.

It’s a really good app, it’s so worth it.
Great Selection/Terrible Playback
The platform offers an excellent selection of movies and shows; however, the streaming performance has been very disappointing. I have experienced persistent buffering issues, even when positioned in the same room as my router, with no noticeable improvement. Pausing the movie/show for several minutes does not allow it to load beyond a few additional seconds, resulting in constant interruptions. As someone who enjoys rewatching favorite movies and shows, it is particularly frustrating that skipping ahead even 10 seconds triggers continuous buffering. I believe adding an offline download feature, similar to the option available on YouTube, would significantly improve the user experience by allowing content to play smoothly without streaming interruptions. But I will keep my subscription because a lot of movies and shows are not available on other platforms. I’m please with the selection, just very disappointed with the playback.
Just need the forward and rewind button
Love the app but disappointed that if you miss something you can’t just hit the rewind 10 seconds button like on all other apps, you have to manually slide the bar at the bottom of the screen and this can be a bit hit or miss as it often goes forward rather than backwards. Could this not be something that can be fixed?
Stopped working
TV app just randomly stopped working. Keeps giving the No Playback 1300 error. I've tried everything and nothing works. Why am I paying for a subscription when I can't even use it!
