Nurse here
My mum is deaf and this has thankfully given us back our life line. Between this app, teams and the new FaceTime update, we can now communicate clearly and I don’t get a sore throat trying to over explain something. I show this app to my patients and highly recommend. 5 Starts 💖
I hate that force deaf people to pay for that
I looked for free live translation and transcribes after Microsoft Translation is free no more! But I still look to pick the right ones that is suitable for deaf people!
Wished it would auto rotate
So far so good. It’s accurate when it’s quiet. Later this morning we will test its accuracy in a group with some background noise. My spouse is deaf and uses google live transcribe on an android phone, with mixed results. If this works well, we’re trading his Motorola in for an iPhone. If there is a way to get the screen to rotate, I’d love to know how, so the phone can rest on a flat surface. If not, please find a way to make that happen. Thank you.
How do I get the $3/month
Only option working is $29/month

Miss types a lot of words
Should allow users to create a dictionary of words spoken a lot like Google live transcribe. Google live transcribe is the BEST because of the dictionary. I have made this request numerous times and never get a response. Unfortunately, Google live transcribe does not work on IOS. Also, wrote a review in February and never heard from anyone on a dictionary recommendation. They really don’t care.
Hard of Hearing
This app helps me so much since I’m very hard of hearing..all my Doctors are just amazed by this and some have even downloaded the apps themselves..I have this app on my phone and here on my iPad..works perfectly on my phone, but my iPad sometimes don’t hear what others are saying even though they are near..either way, I’ll forever use and love this app..
Free on Android; Paid on IPhone!
This is supposedly for the hard of hearing.
Very buggy, problems don’t seem to get fixed.
I thought this app was pretty good at first, but the more I used it the less I liked it. The concept is good, but they don’t fix their bugs. Five months ago, I complained about some serious problems with correcting the voice recognition issues, they still haven’t been fixed. There are things that will not get right and there’s no way to correct it with the keyboard because your corrections get erased the minute you drop the keyboard from the screen. Anything with a double S letter in it such as the word “assisted” comes up as “a**isted” .
Nice service
It helps me lot.
Horrible!!
I am hard of hearing and tried to use this app for a job interview. The app is fair but it lagged several times and did not accurately transcribe my interviewer. There were even gaps in the transcription and I had to rely on lip reading for the duration of the interview. Please rectify this.
Not fast enough, and keeps cutting out
Not fast enough compared to competitors. And randomly stops listening and transcribing. Avoid
Perfect app for deaf people
It’s perfect for me to spy on people and know what they are saying even privet stuff too
Not working after 3 days
It’s not working after 3 days, and requires for subscription
Please add Malayalam language
Overall excellent app. Please add the Malayalam language as early as possible. That’s one main reason I subscribed to this app but was disappointed. I have sent a couple of requests to developers to add Malayalam language but no response so far. Once you add Malayalam, I will rate to 5 stars! Thank you 🙏
Dr. Wm. Zales
This program skips back and forth, used wrong words, it stops for no reason and has to be started again. I don’t need all the translation language just English would be great. I have a friend and works perfectly fine on her phone. Why not my iPad?
No free functionally
Why not block downloading of the app from the start without payment?
Review this
app is very helpful.
Lousy app
This did not work well at all on my iPhone so I ended up getting a Samsung phone and live transcribe works fantastic. Plus it’s free from android. I tried to get a refund, but no response . Very disappointed.
Hard of hearing
This app is a perfect solution for someone that is hard of hearing and needs a little additional assistance in conversing with someone who likes to mumble or blocks their mouth so that their lips can be read. We’ve only had the app for a short period of time but from what we’ve seen thus far it seems to be more than adequate to meet our needs.
App Issue
You should be able to display copy and pasted text and edit saved transcripts, but on this app you are unable to.
Dr Appointments
I have been having miss communications with my dr. This has helped in that process. One of my Drs is very soft spoken, higher pitched voice, with a accent and this app has done a very good job of transcription of her instructions.
Don’t buy
This app is not reliable, I can be sitting right next to a blaring speaker and this app will not transcribe at all or; it’s a jumble of words that don’t make sense. It should be banned from the App Store.
