Top of the Line features
I found the following features very helpful— 1. Transcribes m4a audio files very accurately and very fast! 2. It transcribes a 30min audio file in matter of minutes 3. It very accurately identifies different speakers & assigns speech text to them. 4. Allows me to update the name of the speakers within the app itself. 5. I can easily export the Transcript to an email recipient in many different formats such as plain text, MS WORD & PDF. Works flawlessly!!

Cuts off
Not really the most precise transcriber and it repeatedly cuts off the last segment of the transcribed work, no matter how long the video is. It then takes your credits when you have to redo the whole thing. I can’t recommend this.
Use to be a great app
Not sure what happened but it started to become less accurate, takes forever to upload and took away hours I didn’t use and now says I’m at 0. This use to be my go to, and transcribed well especially adding speakers assigned to the transcriptions. I’m moving on to other apps, but hopefully they fix this for future users.

Seems good so far
I tested using the free 15 minutes on an interview with 2 people. It workded quickly, seemed accurate and I was interested to see that it separated the 2 speakers well and showed the timestamp for each part. I bought one hour and finished the job. I could not see how to export but got a reply from support withing 5 minutes, so all seems good.
Not accurate at all
I wanted to use this to record a conversation between myself and a Spanish speaking lawyer and his assistant. They were speaking Spanish to each other and me English. The voice pickup was horrible (iPhone 13) and the translations were extremely spotty and didn’t make sense. I would not use this for any conversations which are important. Really disappointed.
Not accurate
I used this to transcribe a coaching session for submission for my assessment and it has to be exactly what is said. I noticed that it has taken parts out that I have said on the original recording. This means that this service is not suitable for those who need a verbatim service for transcribe.
Transcribe is great!
It transcribes with precision from the languages I use, and accepts audio texts from multiple sources. I love it.

Pocas veces ingreso a escribir una reseña pero está app vale la pena. Use las 5 aplicaciones con mayor reseñas de la App Store, y para mí, esta fue la mejor. Calidad: Esta fue la aplicación más precisa. Accesible ($): Prueba de audio por 15 minutos. Paga por lo que usas con paquetes de minutos. This app works when it wants to. It does not upload videos well.
Time
I bought more time to complete a recording and didn’t realize in doing that instead of covering the last bit of time it redid the whole video and would now have to buy more time to complete the work I need to do. Leaving time left over if I were to buy more time.

Cross platform usage is spotty at best. Mobile application is filled with bugs. Desktop experiences MINUTES long delays in transcribing a short video.

Cutting and pasting loses all the formatting.

I had to pay for an hour to transcribe a 20 minute voice memo, then when exporting, have to pay for a plan to get any other file version than a txt file with no speaker indications or any other formatting.
Voice Memos yes; Live not so much
I really liked this app and used it to transcribe Voice Memos. Speaker identification is pretty accurate as most of the transcription. Expensive compared to other apps at $6/hr. Doesn’t edit out the “uhms” and “uhs.” I switched to live transcription ($15 monthly fee, unlimited) only to find a significant drop in accuracy even dropping several words in sentences. Also there was no speaker identification in live and it’s segmented into 15 second intervals with a period at every 15 sec mark which meant lots of editing. On the positive side it did edit out the “uhms” and “uhs. Additionally, customer service response time was slow, waiting several days to get a response. Ultimately, I canceled the service.

Very good app. Free trial.
I had to do some homework that involved transcribing a 10 min interview to text and came across this app. All other apps that I tried wanted me to register, which I didn’t want to do since I only needed it for this one occasion. This app however allows you to transcribe 15 minutes for free as a trial, without any registration, and after those 1st 15 minutes then you pay a fee per hour transcribed. I loved the ease of using it and the no hassle to try it. I give it 4 starts because the transcript wasn’t 100% perfect, but it was close to! If I should ever need this service again I would happily pay the fee for it.

Better than others, but still frustrating
I downloaded this app because I needed to do interviews in French (I’m a native English speaker) and I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss any important pieces of info. I bought the “10 hours” package rather than the subscription, because it fit my needs. I found that the transcripts were sometimes completely bizarre in translations, but they were good enough that I knew what part of the interview they were in and I could listen to the clip. But the translations were bad enough it wasn’t worthwhile downloading the transcripts so I could copy/paste the responses into my interview guide, which had been my original plan. It was also really irritating that you can’t rename the recording (eg “Person A”) because I was doing 5 interviews in a day, so time stamps are only sort of helpful. It is supposed to work offline, but on many occasions it couldn’t recognize I had credit remaining (so wouldn’t work) even if I had checked that the credit was recognized (eg, I check the balance is there when I am at the hotel, all good, it is supposed to “remember” the balance when I go offline. 30mins later at the first interview, it says I have zero credit. Grrrr….) Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t…

Prefect for Transcription
This app is exactly what I need. I want my audio to be transcribed into text. It works perfectly! And the price is economical.

Works great but purchased credits disappeared
App worked great, did what it said it would and I purchased 10 hours of credit but after using just under 3 hours, I went back to use again after a few months and my account was at zero credits. Multiple emails via app and directly and no reply as yet to restore my credits.
Works ok
I tried this with a teacher (that speaks French (from France)), she wasn’t talking too fast and pronounced very well her words, but it’s a Finance class, so the program didn’t get specific words used in “finance”. This would be good for simple things, but once you talk about mathematical, scientific subjects, etc. it won’t do great.
Superb extremely helpful
There are many wonderful features about this application first and foremost I keep people honest also it lets me know when I make a mistake of what you do to improve on, but it also helped me not get taken advantage ofIn today’s world when you’re constantly lied to a companies, salesman, operators technicians, etc. it’s really nice to be able to be like this is what you said in a lie it keeps people honest keeps me honest
Doesn’t transcribe audio
Wasted money. Unlike other apps it does not transcribe audio and doesn’t make it clear. It’s robbery. I have no way of getting a refund.

I used this to transcribe an interview for a school project. In the video the was a lot of background noise and that did affect it but the results were still good. I am very impressed. Definitely recommend this app.

It’s 90% accurate for the most part
For the most part, it will accurately transcribe about 90% of my speech. But there are always (significant) errors even in a short three minute video. So you will want to review it all and edit the mistakes

It works in Arabic and English It does not recognize all the words but it is ok %20 +- accuracy I hope to allow me to correct the spelling and keep the marks on the text while reading
Tried the free trial
I tried the free trial to transcribe a short interview that i had recorded in French and the results are not very satisfactory, the app is not able to do the work. I would not rely on this, but this is a great idea
Not too accurate
I tried the free 30 minutes as well as purchased a one hour duration. The transcript was not all that accurate at all. I had to sift through it anyways. It did save me some time as I did not have to write everything from scratch but it was almost a 40% accuracy in terms of content

I absolutely love the Transcribe app! Its accuracy exceeded my expectations, and when I ran into a glitch I couldn’t figure out, Mikhail came to the rescue right away and helped me resolve it. What impressed me most was how incredibly responsive he was—no matter when I emailed, he got back to me quickly with clear, step-by-step instructions. I actually started wondering if he ever sleeps! Even after I dropped the ball for a couple of months during a busy stretch, he picked up the conversation seamlessly when I reached out again—as if no time had passed. And to be clear, the glitch wasn’t the app’s fault; it was due to me switching phones and accidentally creating two accounts. I’ve experienced good customer service with other companies, but nothing like this. Truly the best!
Not what I expected
I tried another transcription app before this one and I was not impressed by the quality of the other app. So when I came across this app and saw the app rating I was really hoping that I found something that would help me get through a few hours worth of transcribing the old fashion way. While I applaud the the fact the app is easy use when uploading files and exporting files. However, I was disappointed in the quality of the transcripts. The majority of the transcripts I received were incomplete or only had one word.
Good App
While the accuracy isn’t even close to 100% I have 20x 2 hour interviews to transcribe and this app has done most of the work for me, I need to edit the mistakes but still much quicker than typing from scratch (my typing speed is slow!!) this is going to make my life so much easier
Too many errors
I was turned away at $5/hour after the free 15 minutes but wanted too see how long it takes too transcribe first. I did a 7:47 video and it took about 5 minutes. I was hoping to use this app to transcribes my video as I use my cellphone for recording so it’s convenient. However I was throughly unimpressed after seeing the amount of errors in the transcription. I will be looking for a program on my computer going forward. $5/hour instead of a one time app fee is outrageous, change that I will come back.
