I love the little intro in the beginning! Every time i enter the game, it just feels so magical. It's like Tamagothchi version of hello kitty island adventure, sort of. Love it so far!

Freezing
The game freezes and I can’t complete the main quest I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling, after constantly closing out the game. I’m playing on the newest iPad pro so this problem shouldn’t be happening especially on like the 3rd mission
Swirly Stuff Quest
I have been unable to complete this quest due to not finding a single swirly shell required for the quest. I’ve dug up and searched every sand pile at Guruguru beach as instructed but have had no luck. It’s been over a week now since I’ve first started checking the beach. Is the shell just very rare or nonexistent.😭😭

Not working
Love this game! But it started freezing up again after talking to rosetchi no buttons pop up after speaking with her it just freezes and you have to exit out of the game and once you try to go back and talk to her it does it again
Please add more to the game
Really wish there were more updates, I absolutely love this game and it sucks knowing that I can’t continue to play it, I still have snowman on the game lol
Wonderful game, but…
Since I finished all the tasks and unlocked Mame city, why do I get one ore two tasks a day??? This is so ridiculous. I replayed this game from last year from the beginning, and there are so many more characters, so why do I get so few tasks? That was the reason I deleted it last year and now it’s same again. There are more places to be unlocked that the developers could make, and more characters to interact… such a shame!
Need more to do.
Totally understand why we are only given some quest one a day and have to wait for the next day to do more. You want players to enjoy playing the game and not speed run it basically. But dear Lord, give us something. I’ve only been playing for 3 days and once I finish fixing one of the hot springs and guruguru park, I have nothing to do. Just running around grabbing supplies. Which this can cause the game to go faster. Either give more quest or take the cap off. Bc now I don’t see myself playing much longer bc it’s boring.

Stopped working!
After playing for a day… the next day all the screen feature disappeared and I can now no longer move my character or function!! Waste of my time
Couple of Complaints
I’ll start off by saying I really love playing this game. It’s so cute and there is a lot to keep you busy. However, I’ve been playing this game since it released and it still randomly forecloses, which is super annoying and inconvenient when it happens because I have to redo everything since the last save and will sometimes lose items. Currently, I’m dealing with Meteoritchi still thinking it is Tamaween, so now I can’t the change the time of day or make energy items. Also, I’ve collected all the fish but Oceanipatchi still says I need to find more species. And another thing, Game Center hasn’t acknowledged that I have gotten several achievements. Not sure what to do about these issues.
Broken
Works fine first day, second day trying to load up and I load into campsite and entire UI disappears, redownloaded and same issue. Shame as it was a cute game

I’d happily buy this for a full game price if there wasn’t the real-life-time gimmick that they’re likely using at apples request for arcade games. I prefer to binge games when I actually have time for them and after being unable to find white tulip seeds for multiple real-life days, I lost interest and stopped playing. I didn’t even finish it, I couldn’t bring myself to get back into it after putting it down. Otherwise it was fun, just, Apple Arcade really ruins games..

I’m in love with it
I’m a 12 year-old girl and I love playing. I’ve only been playing it for like 30 minutes but I am in love with it. It’s fun to play entertaining and you could go on a little quest.

I like it…but one thing
I like the game a lot but you can’t change your character and you can only stay with the character Tamagotchi but overall it’s a pretty cool game.
Great but energy based
Another great game locked behind energy system. Please let us gather infinitely Removed stars because the power ups arent permanent. It’s a really bad temporary buff for a big cost. Dont waste your energy orbs.. Devs please make the magnet buff permanent at least. Walking over every object just to pick it up is kinda ridivulius in 2025 past tutorial
Faulty
Great game until you get a glitch. App is up to date but it hasn’t fixed the Rosetchi fault where it pans out and you can’t do anything. Update info says this was fixed, but it isn’t.

I love this game so much! The adventure, collecting, quests, and the different places. And the gardening is cute. But I’m sad since I finished the game and there isn’t more to discover and I have a glitch where I have the same quest I completed and it’s for the bridge to the forest and yeah :3

As soon as I walk out it automatically walks me back in! So disappointing!!

I would rate it five stars but it glitches SOOOOOO much and at random times it just closes the app. Other wise I love it.
Constant Game-Breaking Bugs
In the first five minutes of the game, I’ve experienced three game breaking bugs that have required me to delete my save and restart. I have yet to get past the Elder Hot Springs in the first forest and after starting over so many times, I can’t in good faith recommend this game in its current state or commit anytime into it. The first bug is that after entering the tent, nothing happened, so I walked out of the tent and it was unbuilt behind me. There was no option to reconstruct it and no options to continue playing as it wanted me to construct the tent. The second bug was that when I found the map in the grass, I opened the map just before the tutorial tip showed up introducing it so when it asked me to tap to open the map, it closed the map causing everything to get stuck. I couldn’t reload past this as every time I reopened the save it was stuck in the same state. The third bug is that after picking up the map in a new save file, I tried walking to the right to enter the town and it kept saying something like “I should find the map so I don’t get lost” but I was already holding the map. I am not starting this game of fourth time.
Love the game but glitches
Game is great and is so many things to do in it. My daughter loves it and I like watching her play. But it closes down on her after she plays for just a little bit. It seems to crash often after she saves the game she can’t progress farther in the game anymore because of this, I wish it was fixed!

This game rules and I imagine would run better on a switch. It crashes quite regularly on Apple Arcade and I imagine it would continue advancing the tamagotchi brand as millennials with a nostalgia kick and gen-z quirky gamers alike are a big fan base and their kids will be exposed to these as we love to see integration of cultures into American fan base as well. Updates and providing new features and storylines will help tons. I own multiple Tamagotchi Unis and I’ve been seeing online discussion of hopes to integrate connectivity features more with those devices and the Tamagotchi Plaza on Switch as well similar to how other cost games do. I do hope as I continue to play I reveal more story to these characters that evolves with my own player abilities and customization abilities; hope this review helps!

Would be great if using the workbench for the hot springs quest didn’t leave a permanent + - on my screen that I can’t get rid of no matter what i do

I LOVE this game so much. It is so adorable and has such cute characters and graphics. I think that it is so fun helping out everyone in the game and running around like crazy. (: ps. I wish you could change your character or at least pick your gender! Not everybody is a boy. 😅

It WAS good
When I first downloaded this I was addicted to it. It seemed like there were endless tasks to do, so many areas to unlock and I spent HOURS engrossed in it. Now I realise that once you reach a certain point it gets.. boring. There’s not much to do and whilst you can see there’s places to unlock - you can’t actually do it yet because the developers haven’t released it yet. My frustrations are these.. for an Apple Arcade game (that people pay for) the updates really should come faster than this and there should be more to do for people that are further along in the game. It’s been way too long before any new area was unlockable!
Loved the game until the update
Real-time sync ruined the game for me, and having to pay for train, etc. Theres no reason to do this, there is no IAP's so these hinderances do not benefit you or the players.
Great but just needs a few tweaks
Hey great game but it has a few missing features because I have finished every world except for one and you guessed it it is Mame City and since I already finished flowers hills I should have gotten a cutscene about the king giving me some magical flute to wake up the dragon but I didn’t get that all I got was the end celebration that you got for all lands no cutscene and that makes me sad bc mametchi is my favorite character after kuchipatchi and even in the update you fixed it but it didn’t work for me so please fix that because I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem but for an upside the music is beautiful in every section so cozy thanks for reading to the end

Update following the recent update.. May 2024 - the game gets worse!! Moving down to 1 star… Not only have players waited over 2 months for an update, the new update didn’t bring anything to do! Instead you now have to PAY to travel around, which is completely ridiculous, there’s zero quests, there’s zero activities, zero new areas, completely and utterly pointless update. The devs are basically ruining the game from something that started off good to something that’s become pretty abysmal. The game is NOT updated enough. Completed it some 4 weeks ago (as have many others) so you’re just left with nothing to do for weeks on end because they’ve not released an update in a month or more. Some of the quests don’t show up after the last update 4 weeks ago, no sign of those been fixed still. They only update via discord but not everyone has discord so us that don’t can never see these apparent upcoming updates til the day. This would be a great 5 star game if only they released more content more frequently without loads of bugs.

Could be so much better
I started playing this game before the recent update… it’s now playing in real time and I find myself doing everything I can do in 15 minutes and can’t progress because I have to wait in real time until tomorrow. I wish it would revert to how it was before as I would play the game for hours before and now I find myself stuck with nothing to do after 15 minutes. However, I do love the game graphics and what I do in those 15 minutes it’s just a shame they’ve limited it so much due to the real time restrictions.
This is a great game but
I seriously enjoyed this game when I first started playing. All the quests and rewards are seriously brilliant. I love the fact that this game is 100% free with no in app payments too. I would have game this game 5 stars but if you’re someone who is going to play this game everyday, you’ll eventually run out of quests and have nothing to do. I have been waiting for about two months for a serious update with new quests but with every recent update there has been no quests added, which I why I gave three stars.

Disappointing
After the latest update, our day/night clock has stopped working and you have to pay to fast travel. This game has so many bugs that are frustrating for children. My feeling is you pay an Apple Arcade subscription to get quality games but too many irritating glitches in this one unfortunately. Also you now have to pay for fast travel which is so unfair and not mentioned in the update information even though it is a significant change. Still don’t understand why negative reviews don’t acquire prominence on review section. Manipulative to sort by most helpful when all the five star reviews seems to be selected as helpful - funny that!

Amazing game ruined by new update
I loved this game and was keeping my Arcade subscription going for it. Now this new update has totally ruined it for me. One of the main reasons I loved it was that is was NOT real time. I have days when I get time to play and days when I don’t, and I loved that I could pick up where I left off without getting worried about missing things or not having enough time to play. Now, it’s exactly like every other Animal Crossing/Hello Kitty Island game… everything takes forever, you get stressed about missing things, and you feel under pressure to play every day. Not being realtime set this game apart in the genre, now it’s just generic and harder to play. I’m genuinely really sad that such a great game has been spoilt by such a poor update. I will be deleting the game and unsubscribing from arcade.
Latest Update…
First of all, this is a great cozy game, I’ve enjoyed it thus far! Although the latest big feature update made some drastic changes as a returning player. Such as, - Time is now based on Real time, which means it takes longer to get things done. While they allow you to change day time to night time from what I’ve read, it doesn’t pass time. So if I have to wait until the next day to finish something in game for a quest, you have to wait a full real day. I would have hoped to be able to sleep maybe 2-3 times every 24hrs to pass time? Or at least once, as there’s nothing to do, nothing to collect or break. This is early game. - Also I heard Fast Travel points now are pay to use. Getting them unlocked is pretty expensive as is. Maybe lower the price? Or would be nice to have a Scooter/Bike for traveling off road. Should be faster than walking. I would love that!! - Spawn rates seem very slow, even after taking a break there’s nothing to collect. Other then that, it’s still a really great game and I’m looking forward to seeing what the Devs bring to the game. I can understand the reasoning behind the update, as to not allow players to progress so fast and to make it more longer with end game in mind. I haven’t gotten that far but from what I’ve read, progression has slowed. Also to end, I’m giving it 3 Stars because I had to restart on a new save as mine was bugged. Every time I went to start a quest, at the end of the dialogue, the camera would not zoom back out of the scene and you would be stuck there. With no options to close it or move around and get out of the scene. I’ve tapped everywhere! Which was quite annoying. Though I will update my review Stars if quality updates are made available and revert or make better changes for the players from the last feature update. Thanks!
