Data not accurate
Saturday 21/07/23 day not accurate. App says No Loadshedding in your area and yet we just experienced load shedding (stage 4). I literally lost a bet with my wife’s EskomPush app. Now I have to cook supper. Data accuracy is key. However the timetable did mention loadshedding but it did not show on the “quick look” screen so I guess it’s a filter/sync problem.
Failure to register
The app can’t even successfully send an OTP to verify identity. Can’t get on it. Downloaded for nothing.
OTP doesn’t arrive
Have tried registering on a few different numbers and the OTP never arrives. Running latest version and latest iOS
Better but one big feature missing
The app needs to save all logged requests, allowing the user to track what they logged and the status.
Good improvement
App has improved significantly since the first time it came out, logging service request has become much more easier the interactive map has better response. Overall better user experience.

Address lookup on registration is just about unusable, OTP comes from a random email address and directly into spam. Sluggish experience.

Great update that GPS is used to help pin point urgent issues such as land invasion, but GPS is constantly on and drains battery like no app I’ve ever seen before.

Thanks for the recent update to the load-shedding tab that was a poor effort in the last release. It looks much better but is still lacking efficiency. The “My Areas” section is just way-too-out of place. The explanation text can be smaller; but also that whole block can be moved to the bottom of the screen or elsewhere. A user is not adding multiple areas everyday. Please think about the frequency in which information is requested and used by people to determine widget display order. And please bring the map back!

A very poor application for a city that claims to be the best run in SA.
Good but can be better
The new look is great but preferred how the loadshedding info was displayed. It highlighted when you can expect it. The current version only shows the schedule with no highlights. It does say when loadshedding is currently active, but we don’t need an app to tell us the power is off ;)
So many issues
I am not sure who QC’s this app? Are they students who get paid for this? Do any of the app developers go on UI/UX courses (often run in Cape Town ironically)? The app is better than nothing I guess but won’t get a DA vote in coming elections ….

Why would anyone use any other load shedding app when ESP works so perfectly?
Register not working
I just downloaded the app and I can’t register, the location search doesn’t work and I get to step 4 it sends a OTP but does not navigate to the final step…

Disappointing Update
I'm happy to see that you're adding quality-of-life features like the ability to log and have it remember your account. I'm hoping that it will allow me to view and pay account balances without needing to enter me details every time. However, I haven’t been able to test the new feature due to a few frustrating issues. First, when logging in, I encountered a problem entering my password. I received an error because apparently a 32 character randomly generated password isn't strong enough because it's missing a special character. That's fine, it can be difficult to judge password strength, and I understand the need for ensuring secure passwords, but the place to do that is when signing up or changing the password, not when trying to log in. But ok fine, I went to change my password so I can try out the new features. The next issue is that when I enter my email or my phone number in the field that says "Email address/Cell number" and try log in, I get an error saying "Invalid username". But it won't let me even try log in after entering the actual username for my account because it doesn't match the format of an email address or cell phone number. Come on guys, did you even test this release?
Honest of review of waste of taxpayers money
For starters, even SARS is better than this. This app honestly has more bugs than the City releases into the Milnerton Lagoon.
Nice looking but zero functionality
I thought great, a new app to better view my accounts on COCT. But nope login takes you to browser page in the app that is not mobile friendly at all. So I’ll just carry on using the website.

Application fails on registration. Do better.

The idea is very good but the UI and UX is horrible. Maybe give the tender to somebody who knows how to develop apps.
App not working
I downloaded the app but all I get is a blank white screen when I try open it. Reinstalled, same issue. Used different phone, same issue.
What is the purpose of this app?
The app seems to be a wrapper for the desktop equivalent. When attempting to view my rates invoice for the month, the UI is unusable (made for big screen). A mobile only version of the site would make for a better user experience in the app.

Can’t log a fault
The app won’t let me submit a fault and won’t tell me what is wrong with the form I am trying to submit.
App update makes app defunct
The app update has caused it to open on a blank page and it’s absolutely useless now
Notifications do not work
Bring back load shedding schedule which shows the actual time period for the day. Also how about getting push notifications to work with a heads up like what you get with the EskomSePush app.
