The app keeps telling me i need to download the latest app but im on the latest version i can find, im on the latest IOS version and when i click the link to the new app it just takes me back to the same app
It’s a good app for school
D6 is an amazing app and updates things I need to know.I would give it a 5star rating but I think it needs more effort by the way I’m not saying it’s a bad app but I think it’s okay
Not Use friendly
This app is difficult to navigate and hides critical information. Not user friendly at all.

My new messages are not showing on the app. Something seems to be wrong. It says message not found. Please help
Why is this app so bad
First issue. The endless ad banners That are tacky and distracting. Next; it’s so disorganised and a chaotic mess. Why schools must subject us to this baffles me.

Going into a document and it suddenly goes out and you cannot go back into it
Please check on this. If you click on the attached document, it sometimes exits out of the document itself, and if you click on the document again, it opens a blank page. I've done an update but it does the same thing..

How do we delete notifications thats old?
Failure to capture responses
Repeatedly, the school asks for parents to complete participation forms (whether kids can take part in a particular event). Repeatedly, those submissions are not captured by the app. It’s ineffective and a very frustrating error for both teachers & parents.
So glitchy
The app was once much more user friendly but has become a real pain more recently (approx last 2 years), and I experience endless problems. Perhaps it’s just gotten too big. The filtering and customising is not as slick as the apps early days. Also have to endlessly do updates and contact support. They really need to work on this.

Very useful I have never experienced any issues with it
Submission of forms
Keeps hanging when firms from school needs to be submitted and not giving me completed status after. This is a hassle now because don’t know if school got the relevant forms or information.

It keeps glitching out whenever I open it, if I open the app, it starts to update and then shuts off after a second or two. I've tried everything to fix it but it doesn't work, I've turned off the iPad I've deleted the app from apps in use and then reopened it. Nothing works! Please fix this!

Love the app but it will say many times I’m not connected to the internet when in fact I am. Don’t know if that’s a bug that can be fixed but it would be great because everything else is 100%

Very basic and cluttered with ads
The functionality is pretty low fidelity. It’s a very basic application with what appears to be the minimum effort to implement functionality. A simple example is: as a new parent I have years and years of unread messages in my message queue. I am unable to use the “unread” filter to see what I may have missed. Surely new members could easily have existing messages marked as read. Or provide an option to mark all as read? The app is also full of ads in between messages making it hard to navigate and differentiate between and advert and a message.

I understand and like supporting developers because these things are not cheap, but can’t we be given the option to buy a “pro” version without ads? That being said, useful app and does what it needs to.

Intrusive adds
I don’t like the intrusive advertisements and there is no option to remove it, the school using it should pay to have an add free version. Or at-least offer an option to remove this for a once off fee. I forgot why I uninstalled it, after installing it again after 2 years still the same annoying intrusive adds in between the school communications.

Pretty poor. Notifications don’t work. Layout not optimised for modern phones.
Just about works at a basic level, but plenty of gaps show the app is unfinished. Notifications don’t work which would be especially powerful. The full screen size of modern apple phones isn’t utilised (iPhone X onwards). That phone came out 2+ years ago, where’s the update? Overall disappointed in an app that doesn’t seem to have much love from the developer.
No pop up notifications
Great app, but no notification if school posts something new, which mean you always need to open the app to see if there is anything new, which is annoying if you have two kids or more. Plus it would really help to choose a class and get notifications for the particular class only rather then get the info of the whole school, an option where a person can actually choose would really help.
Excellent Work From the Principal and Teachers
I really appreciate the amazing work that our learners are receiving from your staff. It would be good to have more than one security guard on duty in the mornings and afternoons when the kids arrive and leave. It is utter chaos at school. Thank you.

While it’s informative, it’s just an ad based product so you are bombarded with adverts and no way to stop it.

The button to Skip registration does not work. Please sort it out.
Useful but Still Buggy
-app crashes when calendar is selected. This has been pointed out months ago by others but bugs still exist -app crashed when I went to personalise > subscribed channels to remove unwanted channels. Please do something to stabilise

Great idea, will be a Great App...
Advised to re-install after not downloading info. Did this and has worked ok ever since, the download did take a long time but I guess that's down to how much info there is to download and also your line speed. I think this App has a lot of potential, but might have been rushed, so lets hope they fix it the bugs soon and bring out a more stable version...
Error - not connecting to Internet
This could be a great app, but for months I have been unable to refresh the communicator, so it is now dysfunctional (not communicating!). I get an error message saying I need to connect to the Internet (I am connected). Please can you fix this!
School Communicator
Does what it says on the tin. It would be nicer if the menus were indented or they could be organised into a submenu system. At present the system seems as such that we get the information for our whole school and do not seem able to filter it by relevance to our part of the school rather than the whole school.

Great app - pity about support
I find this a great app. Nice way of keeping in touch with the school. Noted a defect in the app and are not able to get any support. Mails not being answered. Pity.

The app is very usefull but needs some fine tuning - I experience app crashes when updating my subscribsions and freezes every now and then. Homework should be filtered according to my subscribsion choice.
