Nice Game
Very nice game. Only one thing you could improve: write not only the date but also the time to the saving slots, so you can find more easy the last save of your game.
A story rather than a game
I really love point and click adventures but I prefer to have more puzzles and less story. This had really great graphics and a good interface but it was probably 80% story and chatting to characters and moving around from screen to screen and then 20% gameplay, and I just found it boring. If you enjoy working through a story then this will be perfect for you, because it’s been well made, but I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for a game.
Had expected so much more
After playing " The Abandoned Planet" I had expected more from this games developers. Maybe it was the porting, or my expectation issues but I just cant play this further. I expected a better storyline with an intriguing main character, this seemed more bumbling layabout who had more of a cliché worthless hero feel. I had several heartaches with path selection, item screens and just bad dialogue. Many of the puzzle interactions were frustrating, I knew what to do but couldnt due to not examining the item one more time or not clicking the appropriate interaction icon, it became tedious and unenjoyable. Path selection became frustrating as I would attempt to see where I could go and wind up moving to a place I didnt wish to, I think that was more of a port issue but still frustrating.. I will say the artistry was well done and the voiced actors were well performed, but when you have one adult female who I felt should have been the star, and one supposed hero who is the complete dipolar opposite of a person you expect to be adventuring in a successful business I feel they had little to work with. Some controls were nice to have, like tapping on the path icon a few times got the character to hustle along, but I felt a skip button or the ability to move through worthless dialogue or fast traveling could have been helpful. I look forward to other games the developers have since playing the much enjoyed "The Abandoned Planet" but I must shelve this one.
Great storyline!
This was such a blast and the nods to former genre classics was an excellent touch! We’re really looking forward to the 2nd half! Any plans in the works for a future release date?
Can’t progress - bug with code *Spoiler Alert*
I have got stuck at episode 2 and cannot progress further. It will not let me enter the code for the soda fridge. I’ve done everything correctly ie got the decoder glasses and read the code on the rooftop but it doesn’t work! I’ve watched walkthrough videos to make sure I’m not doing anything wrong and I’m using the right sequence (which I am) and have tried multiple times. Gutted. I was really enjoying the game so far and thought it was well worth the money but now I can’t play it. There is no link in the game for support so my only option was to leave a review to raise the issue.
Dexter Stardust
Disappointing. The cut scenes are self-indulgent and I cannot get past level 2 because I cannot use an inventory item with a character even after watching walkthroughs.

Three quarters of the way through and all the items in my inventory have just disappeared so I can’t finish the game
It's ok so far, but nothing special
I played the first couple of episodes so maybe it gets better but I'm not wowed by the game. I had my eye on this game for a while because the reviews are so unanimously positive- but so far it's just meh. Maybe my bar is a little high right now because I just finished Slim Threads (amazing!) and Chants of Sennar (so unique) so this game just seems like it's trying but not quite hitting the mark. Voice acting is generally good except for the actress who does Aurora. She sounds flat and emotionless; and not in an intentional Aubrey Plaza way. I really want to like this game so I'm going to finish it regardless, and hopefully the rest of the episodes will make me change my review. Will update if that's the case.
Gaming done right
We’re eagerly awaiting the next installment, this game is truly something special. It’s a rare gem that appeals across generations: my 17-year-old, my 10-year-old, and I all had an absolute blast playing it. It’s not often you find a game that strikes the perfect balance for such a wide age range. The story is engaging, the humor hits just right, and the mix of challenging and more relaxed puzzles keeps everyone entertained. The visuals are sharp, and the cutscenes, voice acting, and music are all top notch. Best of all, it runs flawlessly, there are no glitches, just pure fun from start to finish. This is gaming done right.
waste of my money
Wasted money and total disappointment. The visual effects are great I admit but between the game freezing, tripping out and the length of time it takes to load each scene I don’t want to play anymore. I would have given zero stars but that is not an option.
Some rough voice acting and some wonky animation
Aurora’s voice actress sounds quite inexperienced compared to the rest of the cast. If Spanish actresses were in limited supply, maybe don’t be so set on Aurora having an accent? Besides that, the voice acting is pretty great. Also, it’s hard to deny that the game is a bit cheesy. Almost like a sitcom at times. (Not sure if it’s in a self aware way or not) And lastly, some of Dexter’s animations are a bit wonky. Like - no matter what action you do with an object, Dexter always does the exact same hand gesture of him reaching out and grabbing. It just looks a bit silly a lot of the time. Whereas him not preforming an animation would’ve been fine. Besides those nitpicks, the puzzles, character design, backgrounds, music and core gameplay are all pretty good so far. I still need to finish the game and I’m looking forward to it 👍🏻

Spielstände werden nicht gespeichert, so dass man ständig von vorne anfangen muss, dazu gibt es keine richtigen Rätsel oder knifflige Situationen, so dass es mehr einem langweiligen Film gleichkommt, denn einem Spiel… das Geld nicht wert!
It’s OK
Good graphics and puzzles BUT the dialogue is awful! Wayyy too long and boring, like a toddlers version of comedy. also we get it - you’re Mexican! Stop going on about the damn burritos and tacos! Very childish to base the main character’s entire personality on being Mexican. Could’ve been a great game but the stupid jokes and dialogue kinda ruins it
Where’s the 2nd half
Im so ready to finish this story! I love the game but where’s part 2? It’s not replayable If there doesn’t have an ending… any word on when the next one comes out? Awesome game! I'm sad it's a TBC because I have to wait for an ending & Im waiting on about 5 other games to have an ending but they never did .. BESIDES THST this game is long and well put together, funny, great graphics & story, well worth the money and I really hope the developers come out with a great ending, I'll be looking for it, great job developers, any idea when it is? Thank you! Happy to hear that!

If you like watching cut scenes, slow moving dialog, and zero challenges, this might work for you…

J’ai adoré ! Juste un petit bémol sur l’épisode 4 qui n’a aucun puzzle et aucune énigme à résoudre. Un peu décevant pour un jeu mais sinon c’est très bien. Un peu comme une BD interactive. Vivement la suite !!
Terrible
The dialogue and voice acting in this game were created by special needs people. Anyone who has rated this game highly is either under the age of seven, or special needs themselves. I completed all 4 episodes. I love adventure games. This is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. The jokes are nowhere near funny and the storyline is predictable. If I was Mexico, I’d sue the company that made it. It makes Mexicans seem like absolute morons.
Save slots
Only on episode 1 so far and the game itself is really good. I love the humor and art style. But no timestamp on the save slots is extremely annoying, I always hate that and don't understand why devs don't include that. So basically the only way to remember which slot is most current is to physically write it down. Taking 2 stars off for that might be a bit harsh but it's one of my big pet peeves of adventure games, most games it's not an issue though and already have that feature.
Absolutely Exceptional Game
This beautifully animated adventure game is a joy to play! The production values are first rate. Pacing is good. Story is engaging. Voice acting is very good. The puzzles are mostly of an appropriate difficulty. The only criticism I have is that a very small subset of the puzzles are overly non-intuitive, but I guess that’s the point of walk-throughs. One other thought: an actual hint system would decrease the occasional frustration.
Nice game, needs better controls on iPhone though
I love the game but here are some suggestions for control on a small screen. 1. When options for talking are presented, it is super hard to read each option and even harder to pick one when the font is so small and the spaces are narrow. - I suggest adding a scroll and upping the text size so that once can more accurately read / select options. 2. Sync across devices - use iCloud to enable saves states across devices for same iCloud account. 3. As you drag an item to use , put the inventory in the background sooner than having to drag it out of the frame for it to disappear. 4. In general the text is too small to read on an iPhone - even with glasses on ;)
Simple puzzles, awful voice acting
The style is pleasant, looks like Futurama, and there is a lot of promise. The puzzles, however, are fairly simple. The worst part is the voice acting. Simply awful. Fortunately, you can mute the dialogue and resort to subtitles.

Cool game
Classic, old school adventure game. A few frustrations, particularly one, almost impossible to find item that held me up for quite a while( finally had to consult a walk through). Don’t know why Aurora just stayed at the ship the whole time, and I was quite annoyed with the non- ending. But, if you are a fan of games like Monkey Island, or Broken Sword you will like this. There is room for improvement, though. I would have given three and a half stars if I could.
Doesn’t work with Apple Pencil
For the price, I expected a very good quality game on my iPad Pro. It doesn’t work with Apple Pencil and that’s a deal breaker for me. Fix that and I’ll buy it again.

Still crashing
I’m on iPad Pro 1st generation. The game is still crashing at the picnic bench when I place the taco on it. I have updated and soon as it goes to the black load screen it crahes back to the iPads Home Screen. My email is originalkitten at aol Dot com Ig you want me to record the crash. Thank you.

Jeremy, this is One of my favorite games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. I won’t pretend to know the first thing about game development or any of the nuances that must go into creating such an all around amazing game like this one. I am just a fan who is really looking forward to playing the finished game or sequel and figured reaching out wont hurt. I read one of the reviews you responded to a year ago saying the sequel will be released in 2024 but it’s just about 2025 so I’m getting a lil nervous lol. So, if you see this and have the time to respond, I (and reading the reviews many other fans as well) would love an update on when we can expect our new game! I replay this game every few months but I fear I have played it to its full extent now. I really mean this, if there is anything we can do to get the second game, I know I am willing to help in any way possible. Thanks for all your amazing work Jeremy! -A forever fan
Juvenile but not bad
Impressive graphics. Reminiscent of 80s cartoons. Obvious undertones of social displacement and disparity but not so heavy-handed as to be annoying. Appears to be more suited to a tween player as far as the challenge level. Would have liked to see the option to screen hold to show hot-spots to investigate during scenes. Overall a decent gaming experience.

I was really into this game but when I try to leave where the “guitar cords” are I’m trying to go the entrance it keeps crashing. I can’t even finish the game bc it crashes everytime
