of silly pirate adventure games, perfect for fans of Monkey Island. Vivid world, clever writing, mostly logical puzzles. I just wish the slow walking animations were skippable.
Inventory disappears
My inventory disappears every time after I label the barrels in level 2. I love the game, but am very disappointed that I wasted my money and am not able to finish 😥
Fun and runs on AppleTV
A fun, colorful point and click adventure made all the better by running on AppleTV with controller support. Good voice performances, good music and logical, solvable puzzles. Lots of puns on the digital high seas.
No option to turn off voices
Game starts with no captions at all, then forces you to listen to voice commentary, which is beyond annoying. I wish I hadn't purchased this game.
Fun until…
Picked up items needed and then they disappear out of inventory. Sticker of singer and it won’t give you a second one. Want to go back and start over? Nope! Mad I paid for this now!

Langatmiges Spiel zum vergessen
Storyline ist nicht wirklich schlüssig. Nachdem man den einen Storyteil gelöst hat, wird er unrund abgehakt. Der storyteil in der Stadt ist vor allem langatmig. Schmunzeln musste ich überhaupt nur einmal, von witziges Piratenadventure kann keine Rede sein. Die Charaktere sind allesamt zum vergessen, kein wirklicher Bezug zu den Figuren wie bei Monkey Island oder Unmengen von anderen Abenteuern aus dem AppStore. Würde ich nicht nochmal kaufen.

Regrets
I regret buying this game. I was hoping it would be a fun point in click game similar to the journey down, or night of the tentacle, but it is not. It’s really quite dumb. You know it’s bad, when you have to go through a walk-through five minutes into it, and even the walk-through doesn’t make sense. It was a waste of money for me.

Great game, had a blast playing it with my kids.
I heard about the game from the developer’s (Alasdair Beckett-King) YouTube channel. For the last few night I’ve been playing the game with my 5 and 7 year old at the end of the day. We’ve loved the game. The story is funny and the perfect length for a quick game with kids.
Game has glitches
Cute game but stupid glitches happen. Working a puzzle and one of the pieces needed just disappears! Now you can't complete the part or get the piece back. Waste of money. Edit- the programmer got back to me very quickly . I had to start over but he is going to make it so the game pieces can’t leave a smaller area ( in the next up date)

Very funny, but glitchy
The game itself is very enjoyable. Lines are hilarious. It's like a classic Sierra game. There is a problem with the save/load system though. Twice, I've saved multiple times as I've played through, only to discover upon my return that all of the saved games were gone. I'd love to keep playing, but I don't have enough free time to try to play through a third time.
I was bummed when it ended
Absolutely loved this game. It brought me back to the King's Quest games! It's funny, the characters and voices are great and the animation is perfect. It's just challenging enough to make it fun and some of the quests are wonderfully silly. Aarrrrrgg I hated when it ended!
Game hangs after finishing chapter 2 when trying to load next chapter
The game is stuck with a white screen when trying to load chapter 3. Can't do anything else. Tried to restart from a saved point but still no luck.

Super fun game, I didn't run into any glitches. I was surprised when it ended so quickly, though. I felt like I was just getting into it.

Eigentlich ein super Spiel. Macht spaß. Leider stürzt es nach dem Gericht immer ab und man sieht nur einen weißen Bildschirm. Ich kann nicht weiter spielen. Schade

Humorous....
In fact laugh out loud funny in a couple of places. US players may be briefly disconcerted by outbursts of UK North eastern talk. Absolutely excellent voice acting throughout. Charming and gratifyingly light story line. I found the controls slightly clunky, particularly when using inventory items. And sometimes I wanted Nelly to get a bit of a move on. But it’s a great game, excellent value, and I will buy any sequels that may appear.

Really enjoyed this point and click adventure. Great story, cool characters and just the right amount of difficulty. Highly recommend!!
Great characterization
Loved the humor in the dialogue and the characters were interesting. Tom Baker who played the doctor in Dr. Who lends his voice in this game. The game played well 90 percent of the time on my iPad, however I couldn't get past a glitch at the end which kinda created an anticlimax for the finish.I did have to check with a walk through to diagnose the problem. Overall I did enjoy playing this game. It was not too complicated and there were hints but not too much to ruin it for you. You still have to figure things out. Good one.

My kids and I enjoyed this game so much that we are going to play it again. Will there be more nelly games for iOS? Had no problems with glitches at all.

What more do you need? This game is a relatively easy puzzle game for experienced point-and-click gamers, yet it's tongue-in-cheek humor and quirky characters makes the game engrossing and enjoyable. The heroine, Nelly, is sassy and witty; completely charming. The voice acting is very good, made the game really come alive. I also enjoyed the songs - especially the one played during the credits. Quite cheeky. And if you're a lover of puns, like I am, you'll problees be giggling and chuckling your way throughout the game.
A fun game for adults and kids
Has all the things you come to expect from a good adventure game. Smart fun puzzles, a good amount of objects to pick up, fun storyline that flows, fun original characters and a lot of meaningful gameplay. Great music and voice overs too. I didn’t want it to end. Nice job. It saved great, always where I left off and played flawlessly on my iPhone 6S.
