Once upon a time this game was fun. It is garbage now. It is annoyingly buggy and will lock up my phone almost every time I attempt to play. So bad that after years of playing, I will be deleting.

Too slow
Game plays to slow, only time it feels right is in over clocked mode or over time at the end of a match when they increase the gold rate. I should not be starting at the screen with nothing to do(this is in their own faction selected maps), otherwise it is a fun single player moba style game.
Great game! A few bugs….
Really fun so far, bings back WC3 nostalgia for me. There are some bugs with purchasing system so far. I’ve bought items only to have the gold disappear without the item being given to me…

Fun game
Was not expecting much: only came on to get the WoW pet, but the game grew on me. Feels like a better Clash Royale. Needs more WoW rewards (maybe a way to earn some gold for your account by playing?) to bring it to 5 stars for me though.
Great game, abandoned.
Loved this game. Came back to play after about 6 months to play some of my favorite heroes again. However, my game crashes almost every time and usually at a crucial point which is incredibly annoying. It’s sad to see that Blizzard would leave this game with still so much potential, just like Heroes of the Storm!
Fun but buggy
Game is fun enough. Like a more well thought out clash royale but half the time it fails to load into a game and sends you back to the menu
Major bug for new players
Went to try the game out and I can’t get past the sign in error: not allowed to use restricted network port. I think this is a major problem for you guys that wasn’t the only bug I experienced trying to set up a new account. recently was able to get the game to work and it’s literally so great. And has potential to be the best app on the App Store. Please for the love of god fix this bug I was unable to play at first I’m using an iPhone 15.
Dead game
For a game to be dead you have to willingly ignore it. The devious part is the store for half baked events that have had no updates in over a year and a half. This game is not worth your time and the “fun” to be had is entirely dependent on you having a Time Machine to go back to when this was first released. The arclight booster is the biggest scam I have ever seen on a mobile game. To give you extra experience and gold for the life of a game that lasted a little over a year is laughable and embarrassing of a multi-billion dollar company.
Been playing for years
Sadly, for the last 6 months or so, the game keeps locking my phone and needs a restart constantly… sometimes as often as 3-4 times in one battle. I’m getting so frustrated that the game is quickly becoming more hassle than it’s worth. I reloaded the game, I cleaned the cache… nothing is working!

Fun for a minute and then…
You think this is your best fun game… …until it isn’t all of a sudden. I’ve been a gamer since 1978 and I’ve designed different types of games and I understand game economy and I’m going to tell you why this is a great game to try out but why you’re not going to stick with it: The first couple of hours of gameplay are as you would expect for most games helping level you up and giving you rewards. The gameplay itself is pretty good. it’s pretty fun to get into the different characters of the minis and there’s a cool system to match up advantages under the generals. It gets exciting even. Then the game economy bottoms out once you’re actually into the game a few hours of play. Just as you’ve learned to build armies, you are suddenly frustrated over and over again in trying to be successful at matches that you used to be successful in just yesterday but now cannot win because you cannot develop your army without enough resources. Then you are in a resource desert where you are struggling. So, trying to buy your way out of it by supporting the developer doesn’t help. You would have to spend 100 on the game just to stave off frustration. Not only does the game economy starve you at a certain point but trying to put your real economy towards it will end up starving your-own-self if you’re one of those that likes to buy their way through the game. The game stop being fun, which is a shame because it’s really fun in the beginning. PvP end up being just as bad economy, even though it’s fun playing other players. Once you get up to level General, it doesn’t matter how many matches you won, you don’t get any more prizes. Somebody at blizzard is laughing all the way to the bank at us about this when they could’ve provided us with a stable platform that we could have a strong following behind. Too bad they dropped the ball so hard after the Diablo series, but there you go.

New DOTA?
Cool game, hopefully it will turn in to a MOBA similar to DOTA. It seems like there is a bug that makes the game feel impossible to beat like a game speed being manipulated or something affecting your scores.

Really disappointed in what Blizzard has become. They used to be a reputable company creating fun games but in recent years they have become a greedy shell of what they once were. This game is the perfect example of a gacha game designed to farm people for money with very little content. Its just a disgrace honestly.
Fun game
This is a fun lil game to play to pass the time. I don’t like that the game freezes every now and then when I open the app. Sometimes when you open the app, it freezes on the Blizzard Entertainment screen & makes a clicking noise then I have to offload the app & redownload it to play. Takes a really long time to level all your minis, I’ve been playing for a couple years now & still have lots of levelling to do. Would be cool if you could get levelling experience for your entire group when doing dungeons or something. In the game, I’d like to see more cosmetic appearances for minis. Also, where’s Anduin! The Horde have Thrall so where’s our High King?!
Unplayable due to version difference
Love the game but now because I played it on my pc I can no longer play in the app due to it being a version behind the pc. Fix it!!!!

Bricks the phone. It’s absurd
Every update they do to repair bugs causes bugs. Why would you put out an update that causes the app to brick my phone for 5 mins at a time. It finally got to a point where it was actually playable again and now it bricks my phone every match. Give me a break
More gold or stars
The only drawback on this game is you only get a small amount of gold and stars. I know this other quests you can complete or to do still the amount of gold and stars is still low. They should make it a bit challenging for bigger rewards so you can level up your each character. I wouldn’t say make easy, but to make the rewards ever more rewarding challenging but rewarding.
Too many updates
Will there ever be an update without the mandatory malfunctioning?

I enjoyed the game and I see the potential in it and when I think about why it hasn’t pop off like any other good potential games I only come up with unoptimized option It’s get really annoying all the slow and not smooth movement I think if you add an option where I can set fps on max and resolution and graphics on low it would be awesome I really gave up the game just for this issues.

This game is amazing but they stopped new developments like a year ago and I got super dissapointed. Hope they can continue working on it and I will download it back for sure

Love the game
Game is great but please fix the bugs. Can’t see what levels have been completed by which factions. Game freezes up about every 5th or 6th time and just hangs at loading. Really fun and great concept just need to clean it up a bit.
Warcraft Grinding & Farming
Ultimately this is more of Blizzard (and Warcraft) is all about. While the game play is addictive and there are references back to WoW. It’s more of the same grinding (or farming). Unless you pay! It’s a shame that no one especially Blizzard can create a game that you can just play and progress without either paying or repetitively doing the same thing over and over again. I guess monetising has surpassed game play….

Fun but...
PvP balance is ridiculous. It crashes, a lot. But the minis are fun to collect and develop inc specials. The rotating dungeons are nice. Raids could be bigger to boost nostalgia. Despite its limitations, it's a lot of fun!

It used to be better, but bugs have crept in, quality has declined, and they seem to have fixated on daily chores

Great game held back by late game grind
TL;DR: This is a highly engaging and polished game that I had a lot of fun with—but the late-game progression system holds it back. Spending money in a free-to-play game should feel rewarding, not necessary to progress at a reasonable pace. I understand the monetization model, but there needs to be a better balance in the late game. I really wanted to keep going, but I hit a wall around Winterspring Heroic where progress felt too slow without further spending. Full review: First off, this is an incredibly fun and well-crafted game. I’ve put roughly 30–40 hours into it (estimate), and I genuinely enjoyed my time with it. That said, I’m giving it 4 stars because I wasn’t able to reach endgame without either committing a massive amount of time to grinding or spending more money than I was comfortable with. As a fairly traditional gamer, I have a hard time justifying spending more than ~$60 on a game unless it truly feels worth it—and here, it didn’t quite get there. The Good: • Challenging gameplay with smooth progression early on • Mostly well-balanced • Excellent design across characters, abilities, levels, and bosses—very polished overall • Amazing sound design and music (the main theme never got old) • Fair early monetization: I bought the Arclight Booster ($25) after ~15–20 hours and felt good about it • Azeroth’s Blessing ($5) also felt like a reasonable optional boost • Easy to pick up for short sessions or longer play periods • Reward system is satisfying—leveling minis feels impactful • Limited-time events are fun and encourage experimenting with different builds • UI/UX is extremely well done The Bad: • Progression slows down significantly after ~40–50 hours • Reaching higher levels starts to feel like a grind unless you spend money • XP requirements (e.g., 90,000 per level) feel excessive without buying coins/tomes • Repetitive gameplay loop in late game (LTEs, PvP, Heroics) starts to feel like a time sink • PvP is fine, but I lost interest after completing seasonal rewards • Solo players are at a disadvantage—missing out on guild rewards like coins and XP • Raids and sieges requiring coordination with others can be frustrating (especially with randoms) • Occasional technical issues (minor freezes, but not game-breaking) • Device performance: on iPhone 15 Pro, the game heats up quickly and drains battery fast • No offline play
Great on Mac
Despite being designed for iPad, the game works surprisingly well on Mac and runs really well especially since recent updates. While you can spend a lot of money on this game to unlock minis and upgrades, it can definitely be avoided as long as you're willing to grind. Update: If you close WarCraft Rumble by clicking the X button, you can’t open it again. Seems to run in the background for some reason preventing it from relaunching
Meh
This was going okay until I tried to connect my battlenet account- after which the game would no longer load. I thought “oh well I just won’t connect”. Of course good old Blizzard will not let me play without forcing me to the sign in page. I will have to reinstall the game and I’m not sure it’s with the trouble.

Have loved this game for 2 years. It’s just fun!
Pay to win
You literally cannot do anything in this game without paying lots of money. You will have those that have 20 units on the mat before the game even starts that kill you in under five seconds unless you buy lots of stuff. Probably one of the worst mobile games I’ve ever played in my life.
Good game
This game is cool, deep and progression is well balanced. 4 stars because it is very unstable (played it on iPhone X, 13 pro, 16) and it’s rebooting all the time for nothing , endless loadings etc it’s the most unstable game of this quality I’ve ever seen.
Come back user
I’ve come back in a while and I had to go through the long long tutorial before I can access the account menu and then entered my id only to restart the long long tutorial again that made me delete the app please think about the user experience before making unskippable tutorials and hire some proper game designers who can think about it.
Good game
Fun game. Lots to do. But lots of bugs when it comes to rewards. You never actually can keep track if you have received what you are due. If that was fixed it would be a 5/5.
