Worst EV app available
App is slow and clunky, constantly logging you out and fails to open the keyboard to allow you to put your password in
Ok app, excellent chargers
App was a bit of a pain to set up, needed a lot of unnecessary data about car brand/model but once complete the app worked fine. It is very similar to the esb ecar app so if you’re familiar with that you shouldn’t have any issues. The charger at the Applegreen station was great. I got connected quickly and was getting 64kw to about 60% battery level before tapering to about 48 kw to 75%. This is much better than what I’ve been getting from esb.
Can’t avail of the discount price because you don’t list my car
I am quite annoyed as I parked up at an Applegreen EV charging station last week downloaded the app seeing that it’s an extra discount if you use the app. I registered to see that Renault 4 (and Renault 5) aren’t listed. Therefore could not register in my car and set the car to charge or monitor or pay through the app. I’ve logged in a few times since and still no update to list these cars, they’ve been in the market for 2 years now.
Waste of time
I have tried and tried to make an account with no success. It goes into a loop when uploading cc details and hangs. It also asks for your car details as part of the registration for some reason.
How long to Charge? How long to sign up?
After spending what felt like an eternity filling out my details, I then got to the point where I could confirm my email. I completed this to be met in the app with, a verification code is required. (This is sent to your mobile) Nothing…, resend,….nothing . I contact customer support….(guess what?) ….nothing. Worst app I’ve ever come across
Absolute garbage
Absolute garbage, takes several pages to register with app, can’t use card like any other charger, decided after 10m of fighting app to move to other station.
Data harvesting & no authority code
Asked for a lot of personal info up front and then won’t send an authentication code so you can use the app. No reply to repeated requests for help so don’t waist your time downloading this.
Can’t get the basics right
Develop your own app, stop using this same basic licensed app everyone keeps using that has such low ratings across the board.. Not receiving a text message to active my account, but can’t go back to change the number because I didn’t use a country code..
Couldn’t even get registered
Absolute waste of time. Entered my details several times to no avail. Continually throws up error messages. Pile of rubbish. AVOID.
Can’t use
Asking for activation code and not sending any. Very disappointing
No activation code
Simple stuff should work! No activation code received so couldn’t use the charger. Fails at the most basic level!!
Can’t signup - UK Address Only
Can’t even sign up to app in Ireland. Looks for UK billing address no option to select any other country.
