Text me back to when it first came out.
Currently just got done playing through the first mission on a new iPad I am thoroughly impressed with the screenplay on the iPad as well as the sound with no headphones. This is taking me back to when it first released. All I need is company of heroes two and three on the iPad and I will be a happy man keep it up guys.

This game is fun but it gets pretty boring I’d love to see this game to be updated with mod support so players can experience mods like modern combat so players, I know if you add this feature you will bring in new players and a mod fanbase I believe these changes will benefit you and the player base
Compared to the Xbox version it's not that great

Just bought this game and enjoyed a lot
But there are still few flaws in this. As a player who had enjoyed CoH series on PC for years, I really want the dev to give some QoL updates about unit control. Playing CoH on my iPad is a completely arm destroyer, I mean why should I tap on everything TWICE to perform an action? My arms are sour and hurt after two or three hours' playing. Although there are few customizable settings, I think it's not enough. So please consider make everything about unit controlling easy to access, or just at least give some more customizable settings. Thank you for your work! 2026/5/20 Please optimize the game for iPad Air 8, the games runs in TERRIBLE GRAPHICS and 30 FPS! Which makes the game even unplayable… 2026/5/22 The devs fixed the graphics issue. A good news for new ipads owners! Nice work they did!

Cooles spiel coole Grafiken ABER es gibt kein Multiplayer und das ist sehr schade! Zudem fehlen mir die Soviets denn die haben die wichtigsten Schlachten geschlagen die mann hier nicht spielen kann.
Great game terrible server connections
The game is great but multiplayer has constant issues with connection dropping also it’s frustrating i accidentally press the home button it auto kicks you and also you can’t chat in game not even a main menu chat it’s dumb. Even as the host connected to wifi and great internet i myself randomly drop from my own server, same with other players. It’s frustrating and pretty much ruins the game for me no incentive to play competitively

I played this game so much when I was younger on PC. Awesome game so I bought it on iOS. However the app crashes every 20 minutes - real shame as the graphics are great….
Solo Is Okay NO MULTIPLAYER
As of right now, July 7, 2024 there is still no multiplayer for hero of companions. It is a great time for a solo play game. The hardest I have beat so far has been the hard mode. The expert mode seems impossible, but I heard it’s not. What is being said playing the computer mistakes aren’t made and it feels robotic so that is worth $20 to you then I would give it a five out of five but if not, I would stick with my rating with three out of five.

Frustrations, Slow Programming, And Cramps
Despite having easy AI enemies, the AI is still ruining the fun and ruined Company Of Heroes for me the same way the original PC version was. Worse, the gameplay was lagging and the touchpad fails to understand which button I’m pressing and which soldiers I’m choosing. The programmers failed to make this a good game to play and waste of over $20.
Sehr schwer zuspielen, frustrierend
Update: nach der ursprünglichen Rezension mit 2 Sternen habe ich auf 4 korrigiert. Nach dem ich Cheat verwendet habe, bin ich weitergekommen. Bis jetzt musste ich bei 2 von 22 Missionen Cheat verwenden um weiterzukommen. Die Schwierigkeit der Missionen ist sehr unterschiedlich. Ohne Cheats bin ich leider nicht weiter gekommen und nach mehrmaligen wiederholen sehr frustriert gewesen. Ps: bis jetzt 2 Abstürze gehabt und viele kleine Bugs. Spiele auf 13zoll ipad mit M2 Prozessor. Ursprüngliche Rezession: Auch auf dem großen iPad sehr schwer zu spielen und dadurch sehr frustrierend. Ich schaffe es nicht mal auf der Schwierigkeit leicht zu Ende zu spielen, obwohl ich bei der Art der Spiele kein Anfänger bin. Und ja ich habe alle Tutorials vorher gemacht. Für diesen Preis mit u.a. vielen bugs nicht empfehlenswert.

The game itself is excellent. I love the strategy and gameplay. The problem is that it crashes constantly. I can’t play more than 30 minutes without a crash. I’ve contacted support and tried everything they suggested but still hasn’t resolved the crash issue.

Probably not compared to others you can play for free but this does have a lot of details. Getting command of the interface and view etc is complex. Not bad but, complex. So I like how you can pause, look at your plan and adapt while paused and then resume.

Beautiful game, lacks optimization
On a brand new and modern smartphone the 4v4 skirmishes get the phone incredibly hot until the screen begins to act wildly and units begin moving on their own. There are movement glitches also where computer controlled teams will mass units and bunch them up until the game crashes. There are no lobbies available in online multiplayer, likely due to optimization issues. Really cool game, unplayable in larger melees.

There is just one thing I should say pretty pretty pretty pretty please add more campaigns. It would also be cool to see more front instead of just the western you can maybe add the Pacific eastern and maybe even desert also, can you pretty please add the invasion of France maybe even Poland if you don’t understand what I meant. I wish that there was more than just 1944 through 1945
Could be a great game, but…
On iPad there’s a scrolling bug. Even with gestures turned off and in airplane mode, pretty much every game at some point the screen scrolls automatically to the top left and nothing fixes it. Basically makes it unplayable.

Was Excited to see it out on ipad. Every 3rd game screen goes totally black. Happens on old iPad and current iPad with M4 chip. Game becomes unsalvageable as even autosave gets corrupted. Tiresome.

add the effects like the ragdoll and limbs flying off along with the metal flying around the place when exploded.and the shadows, the piece of building falling when hit with a mortar round also add a work shop to download mods like blitzkrieg indochina and more mods please add the mods and effects.

I love this game and the entire company of heroes series and I wish could leave a five star review but the constant crashing in the middle of games is very aggravating but if the crashes are fixed this games is easily a five star game
Love the game but crashes
Been playing forever and enjoy the game. Crashes a lot especially when you play against expert and you start winning. It will crash or when you try to save it crashes. Then when you reload a saved checkpoint, the expert AI changes its strategy.
Great port for iPad tough on iphone
Bought thinking my iPad had the right specs. Playing on iPhone. Still insanely fun but small screen makes tap controls tricky at times
Trash on the iPhone 14
Parts are cut off from touching, the controls go hay wire from swiping the bottom, controls do not at all flow well with out tweaking the settings but that only works for the campaigns. Wish I could get a refund
Love the Game
I like the game, but the amount of times it crashes is unbelievable. Please make the autosave an option to save at a particular time you want it to auto-save. For example, every 1 min to saves not every 10mins.
Good game shame about the constant crashing
Enjoy the gameplay but it’s so disappointing when you start making progress and then it crashes. No rhyme or reason for it either. It can happen with a low population capacity or high. You have ability to sen crash reports which I do every time. From reading the responses from the devs seems like they don’t really care at this point.
