Blood Pressure App
I find it way too difficult to get the app/phone to get to the point where I can get it to take a reading, even if I don't move my hand at all to take three in a row. I tested the app's accuracy when I got my physical with inconstant results. I installed a lens proector which might be contributing to my difficulty with getting the app to read me, but the lens protector stays!
Why the change? $$$
I used this and printed out a group of results for my cardiologist. All of a sudden it has changed. Now they want me to pay $99 for a lifetime use. I saw nothing about fees. No plan to pay for this app. All my previous data was removed. Bait and switch.
Bait and switch!
I had gotten this app may be a little over a year ago. At the time it was free and although I have been inconsistent in using the app, I pretty much decided to use it again due to the fact that my doctor wanted me to keep track of my blood pressure since it was showing being elevated. NOW I see that my past info has been deleted after an update, and when I had to reenter my info, it didn’t allow for your complete DOB; yes, I was born in 1975, I just turned 50 in October. WHY does it have me at 51 already?! Because they only want you to enter in your birth year! And this pay wall—! You guys actually want to be paid $7 weekly?! $40 monthly!? $100 for to have this for life!? Ridiculous! I will be looking at another app!😡
Too many ads
I get it they have to make money somehow but the ads are out of control. Every click on the app leads to an ad or a subscription request. I just wanted a simple log for blood pressure, this app is apparently not for me.
Lost profile
I did an update to the app and it lost my profile and blood pressure history. So I won’t be using this anymore. I was ok with it before this happened.
Worse than before
Why take an easy interface and make it less user friendly and remove features. The in app adds are obnoxious.
Version 2.0.0 ruined this app
Among all the great improvements behind this update are some MAJOR downfalls. Features that were available before are now behind a paywall. Testing site and position now require a subscription. PP and MAP also do, but I don’t know anything about that stuff so I care less but if you do then make sure you understand you need to pay to use it. One feature is missing and replaced with a feature that is frankly pointless; we can’t enter our heart rate now, we have to do the thing the old heart rate apps did and hold our finger against the camera with the flashlight on. Any electronic BP monitor tells you your heart rate after it finishes the test, and anyone with the know-how and equipment to manually check their blood pressure can also check their heart rate. This app is no longer better than a $0.99 notebook you can pick up at any convenience store and that makes me sad because I loved how it was before the greedy update
Terrible
Too hard to figure out
It was great
I loved this app everything worked great. It seemed to have gotten a refresh in the past week or two and now everything is locked because I don’t pay. I’m not looking for anything with bell’s and whistles just something my doc can look at. Ads are in now too. I don’t mind paying a one time feeder for the app but monthly isn’t worth it at all. I don’t recommend unless you’re willing to pay.
No HealthKit Support
It is insane that this app doesn’t have the ability to sync with HealthKit!
New upgrades made me delete the app
It was really good before, but now I’m flooded with ads and the new interface is too busy less easy to navigate. Bye!
App is misleading
App advertised as a free app Once downloaded I read that cost $ 39.99 I deleted the app less than 5 minutes after I downloaded but still charge me the $40. I complained to apple but they said is nothing they can do because is a third party app. I feel very bad and scam I don’t think is right. Wish you had a time usage log so it could be seen that I didn’t use it for 5 minutes
Was good
The new update is not for me. This used to be a simple easy to use app. Now it’s prettier and maybe has more options but feels convoluted and takes longer to enter info. Also the annoying intro ad that wants you to subscribe was the straw that broke me. Uninstall
Was good but now awful.
I can barely afford my blood pressure medication as is, I especially cannot afford an app that once was free. After the update all of my data was erased and if any was still there was blocked by a paywall I cannot afford. I need an app that is reliable for me to be able to keep my blood pressure. I understand the money for improving but this app has become a privilege. If you are in need of tracking your blood pressure and sending data to your doctor this app will only do so if you pay. Which many like me cannot afford that. And there are no actual free pressure monitoring apps out there. I used to love this app too. I just wish I could still be able to monitor my pressure without being locked out by a paywall.
What happened to this app?
This used to be a very clean and helpful app. Recently it has been updated and it is now horrible. Ad walls, blocked features, and a cluttered look. I will be looking for an alternative. Very sad.
Update ruined it!
I would have given this app 5 stars before this update. New update did not improve this app and it is buggy.. wish I could download the older version.. new version is terrible.. deleting app from my phone
Update stole my info
Terrible update! Forced to pay to upgrade and now all my stored data from several years is lost unless I upgrade. What a scam.
The new version is much worse
This app was perfect. Why did the make it so cluttered? Where did the history go? I wish I could revert back.
