Great app!
This is such a thoughtful and well organized app. My one recommendation is for someone to spell check some things. There are quite a few typos such as Zinc spelled Zink.
Doesn’t work
I downloaded it twice and it doesn’t work.
Day 47
I really loved this app. I found it really helpful and intuitive. However after Day 47 there’s no further content even though it shows Next Sessions: Getting Sustainable. what’s happened?
Are you guys still in business?
I have downloaded this app 4 times now and still can’t access any of the content. I click on support and it goes no where? If you’re no longer supporting this app, please remove it from the App Store.
Amazing app but
Amazing app and I loveeee the app and idea and execution so much but the app freezes at the same spot and I can’t get it to keep moving forward in my path:( so I can’t use it anymore. Can’t get it to keep moving forward
Great free version to start with
This is a really great app when you're first starting to eat intuitively. It is truly an app designed by women for women. My only critique is that I wish you could put in more of your information so that you could skipp irrelevant days. Cycle tracking doesn't apply to me, for example.
Waste of time
Went through all of the steps only to continuously get the message that nothing can be loaded. I deleted it.
MEAL is a great deal!
I am a wellness coach and psychotherapist. My specialty is helping people value and love themselves more on their path to creating a better world. I sense kindred spirits in the creators of this app, and I am telling my clients about it every day.I love the visuals, beautiful pictures of food and people enjoying eating while they practice loving themselves., and the simple, practical applications of mindful awareness. I also appreciate your efforts to be inclusive and engage all kinds of learners. My one suggestion is to add interactive components like polls, quizzes, and art activities for self- reflection beyond journaling questions. Not working
It looks like it would be lovely and the opening was really nice! But I’m now just stuck on screens for each section that say “loading” or “We have encountered an issue”
Loved this app whilst it worked!
I began to really rely on this app I was absolutely loving it but after a certain amount of days the app no longer works even if you delete re download etc. I am feeling frustrated as was making so many positive steps to then be left out in the cold! Please sort
Loving Meal
I am enjoying the Meal app. I’m finding it encouraging and comforting. It is helping me to identify those thoughts that tell me that I am not enough and how to deal with them by kicking them across the street! Stay strong! You got this!!
Buggy app
Tried to use app but just ended up with messages to try reloading daily session later.
Potentially a great app
This app has a lot of promising features which seem like they’ll be helpful, but I noticed it focuses purely on weight gain and wanting to lose weight. I am the opposite. I have an Eating Disorder but I do not over eat. I am not over weight. I don’t vomit or avoid foods on purpose. So unfortunately this app isn’t of use to me as it’s focusing on being overweight, not underweight as well. I hope one day it’s inclusive because an app like this seems like it’ll be helpful. A great coaching series
The content is easy to follow and is packed with useful and easy to digest and implement information. One of the best apps.
WASTE! SCAM! BS!!!!!!!
Downloaded answered all their questions, never loaded over the days/weeks always saying “ooops our bad check back later” figured ok I’ll give it a chance and checked back for days on end multiple times a day… Also tried to download and have them send me the book they supposedly offer… nothing, no downloads, no emails. Don’t waste your time here!
Great concept, needs work on execution
I tried the app for over a month now. It’s a great concept and I enjoy the personalization, interactivity and diversity of the content. The app will first put together content based on a quick questionnaire and continues to adapt it based on your feedback on each individual piece that is within the daily ‘package’. I noticed a change in my thinking, eating habits and mental health. The problem is that once you go past the first few weeks, content does not update for several days, and often repeats content from previous weeks- yet you pay for it nonetheless. The idea of building a new mindset to change our relationship to food is brilliant, but it needs to stay consistent to be sustainable. Please work on how to keep new content coming, looping back to content without repetition of old content to keep subscribers going. My tip: subscribe to a weekly option to avoid getting stuck.
Could’ve Been 5 Stars
I was LOVING this app. I started using it again recently and it has been on the same lessons for a week now. I’ve gone through them already. Realized I wasn’t logged in, so I logged in and went through them again. It STILL isn’t advancing me to the next lessons. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Still nothing.
I really love this app but…
I’ve been stuck on day 47 for several days and no customer service! Sent an email but no help.

This is a great app. Lots of content, videos and articles to keep you engaged but in a way that feels effortless. I’ve never reviewed an app before but I believe this one deserves kudos. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and I feel like it is helping a lot.
Nothing works
Nothing works in this app. I go through the whole process of answering all the questions and then once the app loads nothing works. There’s no information or daily lessons. I’ve deleted it, reinstalled, and went through all the questions again and nothing.
Love it
I love this app the information is beautifully presented and encouraging. I didn’t give it 5 as I feel it would be useful to be able to go back a revisit what previous days taught. I don’t know if there is a way and I’m missing it (if this is the case it’s not easy to find) or that the option just isn’t there at all, which is a shame.
I was enjoying but…
Like a previous reviewer, I was enjoying the content until it got stuck on 47 days. This is disappointing as it felt really helpful.
Days 48 and beyond
Unable to access days 48 and further it has a little lock icon. I have a subscription and it doesn’t show me any information.
Impressive and surprising
I am actually enjoying and finding this more useful than I expected. I love being able to bookmark/save certain slides. It could use something to help stay more organized like a check mark when you finished a part so I know where I left off. I like the daily reminder to remember to do the modules.
No longer supported
The app seems to have been abandoned and is no longer supported. Content cannot be accessed.
The app doesn’t bring the next day
I am in stuck in day 5. It should be day 6 today. I am thinking about giving up on this app, even though I love it. But 50 dollars for something that doesn’t work is a bit much for me.
Diet culture hiding behind intuitive eating
Mentions weight loss almost daily. That isn’t the goal of intuitive eating. Ditch all talk of weight loss to truly encourage users to listen to their bodies.

Not working
I can’t get the app or app support to work. The only message I get is “Our bad, you may have encountered an issue, but try checking your Daily session later. Reload.” There’s no in-app support info, but I tried the app support button in the App Store with no luck. After many attempts, I’m about to give up.
Great idea, terribly execution
This feels like a rough draft that hasn’t been completed yet. I LOVE the content. But I’ve had this app for well over 3 months and should be close to day 100 by now but I’m only on day 48 because it keeps getting stuck on days for a week or more. When this happened in the past, I was able to go to the contact us tab and talk to someone. Usually redownloaded and all of that and then it would be fixed after a few days. Now the help tab isn’t even available! Seems like the developers did not have a complete product when this went live and so they keep stalling everyones progress. Also, there are many videos being reused on different days. I really wish this was as good as it should be.
Great App but…
I love the content of this App and find it very useful but the ‘daily’ refreshers can take weeks to update, even though it says ‘more content tomorrow’. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling to no effect. I have a membership into next year but probably won’t reinstate.
Healing!!!
Having an app that helps me heal rather than calorie counting is amazing! I’ve finally began my journey of healing my relationship with food and this app helps more than words can describe!

Good concept, terrible tech support
After paying $60 dollars for a subscription, I was expecting a top notch experience. The first problem happened when I bought the app. I had gone through the 7 day free trial and was about to delete the app cause didn’t think the cost was worth it. Then it said, if you keep the app we’ll only charge you $30 to subscribe. So I decided to take advantage of the discount…only it made me restart the journey from day , and when I updated my expired card on apple I saw that it charged me the full subscription fee! Already irritated reached out to tech support to see if they could put me on day 8 since I already did days 1-7…Mia is a robot…it doesn’t solve any problems, even if you give her a frowny face at the end of a session. Why ask us to rate customer support if you’re not going to do anything about it? Anywho…had to restart day 1-7, and it was fine till I got to day 36…it stayed stuck on that day for 2 days! So you’re telling me I paid all that money and am not getting the full benefit of my subscription? Reached out to MEAL tech support and lovely helpful Mia asked me to taje a screen shot…like that’s going to help anything. Haven’t heard from them since. If the app is not going to work, it’s nit worth your money. Wouldn’t you agree?
Could be Amazing if it worked
PURCHASED THIS APP and for the first two weeks it was phenomenal. Restructuring a lifetime of diet culture and providing me daily content for my mornings. My plan was to delete all the garbage on my phone and stuck with this. However, content froze after two weeks. The app is essentially useless bc it’s not working for me. I reached out to customer service multiple times and felt the runaround of “we are working on it”. When I’m paying for a service you’re not providing, that is not acceptable.

Unusable?
This app looks great in theory but after creating an account it is just giving me errors. I can’t access any sessions and when I try to follow the link for app support I just get a “server can’t be found” message. Bummer since it seemed great at first.
It’s great… while it works!
It was extremely helpful for the first month. Some things were repetitive but I definitely learned from it. Unfortunately, it didn’t work after day 31. It stays stuck on the same day. I messaged customer service and the only response they gave was “tech support is looking into it - stay tuned”. Requested and received a refund from apple. I really wish it would have continued to work. 🤷🏻♀️
You cant review old contents
This app is lovely and i was really tempted to go full subscription as i was enjoying the daily contents…until i found out that old contents cant be reviewed, and if u missed the day, they are gone. Learning new habits and mindful eating is not an easy thing for everyone and a review of old contents - maybe through a menu and categories - would be the game changer for this app. Unfortunately, i will not be purchasing it due to lacking this
Really great app!
This app is amazing! I never give app reviews, but I have to say I love this app- as someone who has struggled with bingeing and emotional eating my whole life, I love being able to take time each day with new content to focus on healing myself and keeping focused on my goals. It’s great that you can go back and watch previous content and save the articles too!

Doesn’t function. It’s clear from recent reviews that the developer has abandoned it.
Feels like half an app
I’m day 3 into the free trial but cannot catch up on the content I’ve missed and cannot access the handouts I’ve viewed. Really disappointed as the content seems well put together but you only appear to have access to the content for that day. Changing habits takes time so accessing previous days materials would be essential in my opinion. As a result I wouldn’t subscribe to this, also no response from customer service chat function.
Why is the app not working?
I’ve downloaded and subscribed for a free trial. However, when I was about to start the first video episode, it crashed and I wasn’t able to load it since. I then deleted it so I can download again, but now it’s not even letting me to download. Is this a scam to not let us use the full 7 day trial? Or will it be extended once the app is debugged?
