What people like

- It offers great advice for many different problems
- It is very helpful for managing mental health
What they complain about
- It used to be free but now costs money
- The yearly fee feels too expensive and unfair
- The app description lied about being completely free
- The app keeps crashing when you try to use it
It’s an amazing resource to have
I love that this app is available to people. You don’t have to pay anything to listen to the sessions of people you may relate to. There are very situation specific sessions, as well as very broad sessions that could relate to multiple situations.
No Longer Free
Started as a great, affordable (free) option for people that needed help, but they felt the need to capitalize on it. No longer recommend.
Great app, needs more sessions!
Would love to see more sessions added!
Money
I really appreciated the app tell all the money you have to pay. Mental health is such a hardship I think the money they ask for is selfish. I could see perhaps a 5 dollar monthly mabye 10. Could have really used this recource.
So helpful!
Found out about this app because someone recommended it on Twitter and I’m happy i checked it out! Therapy isn’t accessible to everyone, but what I love about this app is that I can listen to other peoples therapy sessions that often relate to my problems, and I’m able to take away some really good skills to help navigate my life. And I love how theres a tab that assigns homework so you’re able to apply what was said in the session. Definitely recommend!
Used to be free :/
I used to love this app, but now they’re charging for it. I understand the need to make money since it certainly costs money to maintain the app but it was a great resource for a college student like me who simply does not have money to spare for mental health services.
A very good tool
I will say I plan on using classic therapy as well, but I think that Meomind allows me to use time with my therapist more efficiently since I gain small bits of useful information from the app and can focus my time with a therapist on more intense details that I need to work through. I find that I’ve learned a lot with the app! I learned that you can request certain topics that may not already be there and they’ll reach out to you once they make it!
Not free
I was doing the question thing and after I did all of that it asked me to pay for it like what about the people who don’t have a lot of money like maybe make it free
Great idea!
I love the format of choosing topics, listening in on others sessions, suggested homework and low pricing! The app provides many applicable learning opportunities. There are a few app glitches but the makers ask for feedback frequently so I'm sure they will be ironed out. Don't become daunted or shy about being asked to create a username/password off the bat. That is usually a "try me" deal breaker for me but unusually, I forged ahead. It's worth it!
You just ruined the entire basis of your app
I used this app about a year ago and found it to be very useful, only to come back and find that the free content that made the app stand out so much is now behind a paywall. I don’t know whose bright idea it was to do this, but now they have stunted their own growth for greed. You could’ve provided some more in depth content for a price if you needed the finances to continue.
Great!!
It helps me to think more logically and less emotionally and I love it!
Most fulfilling mental health app
I have learned so much throughout my time on Meomind. It has been so insightful and validating. Thank you for the incredible resource!
Disappointed I pay for a subscription
Has good content poor app performance it keeps crashing
Amazing mental health resource!!
Can’t go to therapy right now, but have some topics/issues I’d love to work through with a trained professional. I love searching for my personal topics and finding therapy sessions that I can listen too. I’ve learned SO much and was able to relate SO much to the sessions. Everybody should have this app!
Smh
Paywalled, this service is useless now
Great for your mental health
I am always looking for ways to manage my mental health better. I get excited when I find available resources that help everyone. I’ve had a hard time finding a therapist that gives techniques and homework for me to do. These therapy sessions offer valuable information and suggestions. Very relatable on so many levels.
Greed
This app was a great resource for anyone who needs mental health support and doesn’t have money/insurance. But greed unfortunately has taken the best of the developers as now this app is just another way for people to exploit those in need of help. Shame on them!
Great app
I lost my mom recently. I was looking for help and this help me a lot
Subscription Model
There’s nothing wrong with the fact that this app built their entire user base off of a free model and then decided to ask for money. However, the subscription cost they chose to put in place feels a bit predatory and amateur at best. Users would be better off investing in talk-based therapy.
What I needed
At first I was kind of skeptical of these apps. But hands down this is the best mental health app I’ve used. It’s well organized and it always helps with what I’m going through. And I have bpd
Not free anymore :(
I have been having a horrible last few days and wanted to see if any sessions on this app could help me today. Turns out it’s not free anymore, which I’m really disappointed about.
Great App
Very helpful
No longer a Free App
Part of it’s charm and appeal was the fact that you could use it for free and learn so much from it. Unfortunately it’s behind a paywall now.
Perfect Therapy app
This app is clearly amazing, when I first downloaded the app I didn’t see no app in purchase while some needs to pay just to get in the app. Second if you don’t want to talk, there’s loads of ways to speak to your counselor. Third it’s for 4+ so that way, People who thinks they have a problem that they can speak about can talk about it. Forth if you just wanna listen to past sessions, Ect you can. I actually have a lot more I have to catch up on, if I could I would give this app more than 5 stars. While some apps ask you a million times to rate, this one from how long I’d have this app only ask 1 time. Great app I would recommend for people who needs therapy.
Dishonest
This app wants to charge $200 a year while saying on the App Store that it’s 100% free an with zero in app purchases. That is false. Avoid this app and try one of the many other therapy apps that are in fact free.
