Fun needs update
Really fun game just wish it didn’t take so long to load and didn’t have to reload every time you leave the app for a second. Also I wish the maps were different every game
Can’t restore iaps
I enjoyed the game but the title says it all. I have most of the Dire Wolf apps & they all have a restore option in settings or a separate restore button (unmatched). I can’t find anything in Clank!

Not sure how they have it programmed but the dragon is pretty much guaranteed to do damage every turn.
Great Game But
I love Clank! and I think the app and convenience is great however the game is really buggy and crashes at times. Not to mention anytime I play on my iPhone my phone heats up super fast.
Poor Play - Overheats
Constantly gets laggy and even when I reduce video quality, the game still runs poorly. You guys need to fix this bug it’s been a problem since the app inception.
RNG hinders the game but still fun
This is a fun game and does the tabletop justice. My biggest complaint is the RNG. It’s not random as I could have 3 cubes to opponents having 10 or more and it’d still pull 2 of mine out of spite. Or the times I’ve lost 7-0 life when I’m less clank tokens. Fix the RNG please and then I’ll fix the review

There is a little bit of a learning curve but i love the deck builder. I’ve never heard of this game before but i love it. Gonna play this one with the fam.

I want to give 5 stars so bad
My anger wants to give 1 star, but thats not fair. This OVERALL is a really well made game. The game itself is super fun and the expansion is worth the cost. However, playing async, I would say I have a major glitch 10% of games which completely ruins the game for me. The most common one is it will randomly end my turn when I still havent spent any movement, attack or income. Most commonly it happens after i undo a move Normally if you try to end your turn and you dont spend everything a pop up appears that says “are you sure?” But for some resson this glitch bypasses this bug. Id easily give this game 5 stars if it werent so glitchy. I otherwise would give it 5.

Good job but
The game is well made, especially the controls and sound effects are great! But there are always bugs in the challenge mode, and after the AI action is completed, the game cannot proceed. The game is stuck there and should continue to the next round. I have already provided feedback through the logs in the game many times. I can't wait to play when the space version and catacombs version will be released. Finally, Chinese is required!!!
No Cloud Saves
Clank is a great game, but it gets repetitive quickly. The Digital version tries to avoid that by offering Challenges and Heists. Unfortunately that progress isn’t saved to the cloud, so you can’t make progress on multiple devices. Cloud saves are a pretty basic feature these days. This is a big miss for a great game.
No family sharing for Sunken Treasures
I purchased the game to play with my wife using family sharing which works great; however, if you purchase the expansion it will not work with the family sharing.

Great game but show stopping bugs
This is a great little multiplayer game that has a lot of potential but has some show stopping bugs. Currently, when you play an async multiplayer game only the final person gets to see the results. You get a notification to say the game has ended, but if you click on it, it will load the game and then just go to a black screen. Playing with friends means the last player needs to remember to take a screen shot and send it by message to other players. If you play with randoms then it’s just tough luck unless you were last to play when the game ends. This is a huge disappointment not knowing the end scores and so I can’t rate higher than 1 star till it’s fixed.
Good, not great
Checks just about all the boxes! Except… no local LAN play. To me, that’s a major miss and one star.
Am I doing something wrong?
I want to like this game, but, I have played through a few times and see my “clank” on top as 0, and then when dragon attacks, it always attacks me and not the AI players. The AI players also seem to zoom around the board very quickly as well. I may not be an expert, but, having played similar games, something seems amiss.
Fun but expensive
Game is fun, especially if you are familiar with the real board game. It allows you to play a lot and “prepare” some strategies for the real thing. However the game is truly limited to the 2 basic tableau, the ones from the original Clank. No fancy custom dungeon to explore. Animations are fun but my iPhone SE has a hard time to play them (sometimes freezes and crash) Overall not bad, but waaaay too expensive for the game play (15$can). At that price better buy a real board game.
Easier to play than table top

I love Clank, but…
Great digital adaptation, but it lacks content. And now that Sunken Treasures has been released for $9, I’m realizing that this is going to be an app that will require around $100 to purchase all available content once it is all released. (Not to mention the large amount of time it takes to each expansion release). The app isn’t guaranteed to be around forever. If the content were half the price I could justify the investment, but I’ll stick with the tabletop versions instead. I would love if content were released quarterly at minimum to keep users interested, including Legacy editions in the future, which would be a bigger task but so much more streamlined than the physical versions with all of the components and stickers. Not sure if even the Steam version will ever get there, but one can hope, and that it’s at a price that doesn’t make me consider if it’s worth it.
Tutorial needs fix
As soon as a card is selected for the part of the tutorial… it blocks the information/instructions as the card is ontop of the person giving the tutorial.. which makes me lost on how to play the game.
Text too small on iPhone
Love the game. Great implementation BUT…the text is microscopic on an iPhone 15 pro max. Can you add some accessibility options to increase font size please? As it is, it’s headache inducing to play.
Mummy is so fun!
After all these years it’s so fun to replay the mummy! Has me wanting to break out all my old physical games. Can’t wait until they release the next expansion!
When are we getting a new map?
I love pass and play but we are bored of the same map. 4 stars for now until new map.
Nicht geeignet für Asynchrones Spiel
Das Spiel an sich ist ganz gut umgesetzt, Leider bekommt Direwolf es aber wie bei Everdell und Dune nicht hin, dass alle Spieler den Endstand eines asynchronen Spiels sehen können. Man macht seinen letzten Zug am Abend, die anderen Spieler ziehen und am nächsten Morgen ist das Spiel weg :(
Great game, sloooow on mobile
Clank! is one of my all-time favorite tabletop games, and the digital implementation is excellent… except that the mobile experience in particular can be a bit tedious. If you exit the app to respond to texts or whatever, the server is often lost, forcing a restart, wherein you need to wait for it to load, then tell it no, you don’t want a replay, etc. (How about don’t make a replay the default, so we don’t need to skip it every time?) And within the game, the animations look great, but it’s all just verrry slooow as you have to wait for every animation and AI player’s turn, even on the “fast mode.” Please, developer, let us enjoy this great game at more than a snail’s pace, and without needing to reconnect almost every time you leave the app.
Great app!!
Works very well on iPhone. Haven’t had any freezes or back outs. iPad has many freezes and back outs but I have an older iPad.
Great but could be perfect.
Love the board game and this app does it justice. Multiplayer is unstable and I’ve lost several games due to server issues. If you are playing async and get knocked out, it would be nice if you could just view the results without having to watch all the turns that were taken without you.
Repetitive gameplay
Expensive for such a repetitive game with just one level.
Don't love the app
Has some nice features, but everything is so cramped. This should be closer to $5 — feels extremely overpriced as is. Animations are very cute, but I wish 'fast mode' was actually at all sped up. I think this app would benefit from looking into Monster Train and how they handle the UI. I'm a huge fan of Clank! Catacombs in real life, for reference.
Great fun, but buggy
The family and I are having lots of fun! There’s often a bug though where you can’t see your cards in your turn. You have to save and exit to fix it.
Some UI issues
Really good deck building game. Well designed app that, for the most part, makes the game easy to play on an iPhone. The only issue I have is when you want to inspect a card. Depending on where the card is on screen it can be a real challenge as your finger placement will immediately cancel the inspection. Eventually I’ll learn the cards by sight but for now it is annoying. Hopefully it can be fixed via an update. Otherwise the game really well made and a lot of fun. The challenges is a great addition.
Great game but way too slow
I like to play against AI, and tend to like mobile games that are quite fast. Many board games adapted for mobile have fast forward features that let you skip to your next turn, rather than sitting through animations of your opponents’ turns. This game does not, greatly harming how enjoyable it is. Devs: give us this option, please.

Clank is a great game and the app is smooth to play. The AI could be more competitive, but still fun to play.

Excellent but way too slow
That’s an excellent board game port, quite good UI and graphics. Main problem is that animations take forever to complete and rìthere is no option to skip/speed them (fast mode is just a minor help…) making the game very very very slow…. It’s great for the first few games but once you get used to the fancy animations, it’s painful. A good game overall, it could be great.
