Best for music pitching
Even though I haven’t started seeing the outcome, the fact that you’re so reliable and fast with response says a lot. I look forward to pitching my songs to over 100 playlists

Super buggy, couldn’t get anything to work. Ended up having to cancel my subscription.
Giving it a shot
So My team been very lackey lately and decided to take control of my project to release on the holiday and seeing my distribution offer to check out unhurd which I came across some years ago, so I think their app gotten better thru out the years, if the playlist pitching and the marketing goes well I’ll come back and tell how it went
Not really much.
I feel like when it does get accepted it works a little bit. But majority of the song placements seem a little biased on one persons opinion. Even though each playlist is made by most likely one person I feel the curators need be a little more open minded other than just saying yes or no off PERSONAL preferences. Some have gave good criticism and feedback on why it wasn’t accepted but others denied because “It’s not their taste” which shouldn’t even be allowed. I feel like there can be better ways to pay for placements with a biased opinion from just one person. Don’t let apps like this stop you from making music. This app is SUPER OPINION BASED. Find a better way.

Firstly I’d Like To Apologise For Labelling The App A Scam… I Spoke To A Man Called James Today And My Refund Was Sorted Immediately. The Length Of Replies Before Speaking To Him Were Days A Part And Not Very Informative Hence Why I Had Thought It Was A Scam Vague Answers And No Real Response To What I Was Saying Or Requesting. James Sorted This Within An Hour…

Not very helpful
The idea of this app is great, but so far I have ran 2 campaigns and been playlisted on both, but saw not even one additional stream from these placements. The placement only lasts a week, and I’m not convinced this is anything beneficial beyond a payola pay-to-place program. I think this app has a lot of potential but it hasn’t proven to be worth any investment as my PR budget is better spent elsewhere.
Not what I thought
This app isn’t really bad there’s just something’s that should be fixed, like before they take your money it should just maybe be a hold so if they don’t put you on a playlist you get money back or maybe they should automatically suggest you to another because that feedback thing isn’t really doing anything and some curators don’t say anything

This app fell off and became a scam
This app used to be helpful and did not force you to pay to be on it. Haven’t been on in a while, it makes me log in and forces me to do a subscription plan. The benefits aren’t worth it the price. I wonder if they changed ownership but it’s definitely a shell of what they used to be.
Dated
Tested this app by connecting an artist profile and pitching some playlists. The basic functionalities are fine, but this is by no means an app to help you scale if you're just starting out without spending a good chunk of cash. You are better off reaching out to curators yourself or posting on social consistently. The acceptance rate for playlists was like 30% - which is fine but the impact itself was close to 0 - meaning no lift in streaming numbers from actual playlist placements. The offered playlists are honestly dead or followed by other music marketers and indie artists who only want results and aren't actual audiences. This app would probably work if you already have a robust following and setup. At the end of the day the industry is about connections and building a following organically. There simply isn't an alternative to that.
Underwhelmed
Saw this app on Dragons’ Den and thought to give it a go, as an indie artist. It’s an expensive shot in the dark, paying per song per playlist. Confused about what happens now after I’ve paid for a pitch to a playlist, and the handy ‘low/high’ probability indicators that were on your YouTube explanatory video didn’t show up. And how do i know you’re not inundating the same playlists with loads of other people’s songs, minimising my chance of being selected? Seems a minimal service for what it costs. Worth one shot in the dark, maybe, but not two.
Better than expected
Okay so I heard about This app on a random instagram ad, now I just signed up with a distributor (UM) and I really had no idea how to promote my music well enough to land on playlists, well this app literally knocked that out in less than 4 hrs, and it’s pretty simple to run successful ads on socials, sometimes it is a little iffy with connecting accounts like ig & TikTok. Overall it’s a great affordable platform to help grow and promote your music and get more traction & placements, I hope you all find the success you’re looking, you’re at the right spot.

Don’t use I had 3 of my artist accounts that I’ve had for years get permanently deleted because I wouldn’t pay the subscription use DistroKid it’s cheaper and better
One thing tho
It’s a great app to use as a independent artist. very easy to use and maneuver through. one thing most artists would agree upon, why would we pay for our songs to basically be “reviewed” to be placed on a playlist. Based off of the advertisement that I saw for this app, it sounded like pay and place type of marketing (like boost collective). Y’all never mention that ANY track that’s sent in, ISN'T guaranteed for placement on selected playlist. Good way to make a quick buck off of hungry artist🫡😭🙏🏽i bet it works amazing tho when you do place
A bit disappointed…
Thought I would try this app out, mainly to see if it’s playlist placement is any better than free solutions like Soundplate. To be honest the results weren’t great. £5.99 a pop is pricey and with no guarantees (regardless of how you tag the track) where it might end up. Mine ended up on a playlist completely unrelated to my genre, I raised this with support and it did eventually make its way onto a playlist with a closer mix , but not the one I hoped for. Those looking to land their track on a solid playlist should probably look elsewhere or work with their label or DJs directly. I won’t be using this app again for that reason, sadly.

Unprotected Attemps
Don't normally list my songs for playlisting but thought I'd give it a go for one - reluctantly paid a very unwelcome £7 for my song to be rejected for no real feedback as to why You don't get your money back if this happens, neither do you get the chance to submit it anywhere else. It's a complete waste of time and money at times. Do yourself one better and get your songs in free playlists with better audiences and more local reach. No point racking an audience in London if you're Newcastle based

Too basic & costly
Well the interface for the app looks nice and all but there are other alternatives. Paid €7 for a submission and got one sentence feedback. It is easy to use and navigate, but it doesn’t offer a lot of features towards artists.

Waste of money, don’t bother
I have submitted multiple songs and they have all been rejected to various playlists, with curators given the most picky and annoying reasons. The acceptance rates for the playlists are virtually nonexistent and you’d spend your money more wiser actually paying for promotion yourself through ads or whatever. Don’t even waste your time or money.
Very much still “Unheard”
I have used this app since seeing it on TV. I was expecting it to be a game changer and really upgrade my marketing strategy. However, my first track was rejected by all playlists, and even after nearly a month of “pitching” it remained unlisted. So I tried again with a newer release, and guess what. All pitched playlists rejected it, but it was accepted by another playlist that I hadn’t selected. This didn’t result in any streams. That same newer track was sent through Spotify’s own playlist submission service (for free) and ended up getting consistent streams from 22 playlists. The social media advertising service however was very useful. Advertising on FB and IG can be a real chore, this app made that easy, the numbers were high in terms of reach etc. However, this also didn’t translate into streaming numbers, which was the purpose of the ad campaign. While this app is full of promise, and the idea is amazing, It thus far has consistently failed to deliver. I think I will give it one more go on the social media ad service. If nothing comes from this then il be ending my relationship with the app.

Was great Now terrible
Before whatever update they did I was able to log in for free. Now I have to pay to even get past the log in screen. I was perfectly fine with paying a little more for playlisting without a subscription. But that’s a thing of the past you can only use the app if you’re willing to spend 18 dollars a month. I don’t know if the ceo of this app changed or just got greedy. Really sucks that it went from an app to help independent artists, to just another subscription based greed machine. Didn’t want to pay for the subscription but what’s done is done and I’ll be looking for another app. (Hopefully with less ai)

Our Music is available on most platforms, but I thought ok, let’s explore all avenues. I uploaded a Track, and pitched to a modest Rock Playlist of 17K, whereas other larger Playlists were shown as well. My reasoning being I felt we stood a better chance of acceptance. So, having taken my money I heard nothing, and so chased it up. The reply received was a bunch of excuses that Curator’s are busy people! Well over a week went by, then I saw my Pitch had ended. In fact what had happened was our Track was rejected, but the Curator, liked it, and felt we didn’t have the numbers (excuse me isn’t that the point of unhurd - it’s in the name right!). So the Curator placed it on a much smaller Playlist of 1K. Not surprisingly this very small Playlist has not widened the Audience for our track. There’s another issue : One is that the Playlists incorporate Music from established Artists, so the Platform is not solely for ‘unheard Bands’. Mixing Playlists may introduce new Bands if people are interested to listen to unfamiliar tracks. However, the flip side to that is, are New Bands getting a raw deal, and less likely to get heard buried in a Playlist with established Artists. The Curator’s seem able to do what they like, yet presumably are linked to unhurd. There seems to be little Management shown. My thought on this is that there is very little value in paying unhurd any monies. I didn’t pay for our track to end up on a 1K Playlist, which is no better than using free SM Platforms. I have had to write messages to Unhurd throughout this process, and wasted a lot of time in doing so. I have suggested they reimburse me, but haven’t received a reply on that. So they presumably feel that it’s ok to take my cash, and the placing of my track on such a limited Playlist is alright. May I just say that I’ve given Unhurd the benefit of the doubt, in that I don’t think it’s a Scam, as yes, our track is on a Spotify Playlist, but this experience will ensure they won’t be receiving anymore of my money. However, if they feel it’s acceptable for a Curator to have a 1K Playlist then I say be careful - how far does it go down to - a 100 Playlist! They get two Stars as at least I’ve received communication from them.
Real Deal
I’m an artist that goes by GrimeyTFG, and I have to say Unhurd is a service that gives you an unheard of experience that I can tell is botfree I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone that’s trying to get their music pushed through legitimate playlist. I’m going to use them for each of my releases, real talk. 5 out of 5.
