Great + Finding Artist To Collab!
This app is dope obviously it’s better if you get the pro plan, but even the free plan gives you enough tokens if you repost to run a campaign a day! And also I have found it useful for finding artist that are willing to work in collaborate thank you for the platform RepostExchange 🙏 🖤
Used to be good now it is trash
This app used to be a good place to grow if you were first starting out and needed some real views to get engagement going. It uses an in app currency called credits and you can buy them with real money. to start a campaign to promote your song, you would pay 50 credits, or about 3-5$, and if you played it right, you could get 1000 views. Now it costs 200 credits or about 12$ to get one started and it is wildly inconsistent. Will be my last time using this
Repost Exchange Review
Yo what’s up dis sunny i been using repost exchange for over a year & a half now. & it’s gotten me crucial soundcloud plays. That the algorithm usually doesn’t reward you with. Before the new update, people will do things like not like your track, or not listening to it while STILL commenting, or fake comment like they like it 😭💔 but since then it’s changed & they rebalanced the credit system.
Turned into a cash grab
It is super unfortunate you raised the base amount you have to contribute to a campaign(now 200) when it used to be 50. It costs $25 for 500. So basically you’re charging $10 per campaign. Due to the fact you have to do 200 now, it forces you into a situation with people that have “large followings” repost, and take more than half your points. So you spend $10 to get 3 reposts. Sure, you can work the system to earn points, but that’s painstakingly slow. Put the minimum back to 50. Y’all gonna ruin your app over trying to take so much from people, while giving so little back.
Works for the most part
The settings in the menus don’t save when you change them, even if you hit save; So I keep getting requests from genres I don’t want. Doesn’t work on the pc either. I do like the service though, just needs bugs fixed.

Pretty good
Repost is a really good way to get ur music promoted within the sound cloud universe. Unfortunately sound cloud is one of the more money hungry companies and inorder to take full advantage of what repost has to offer, you have to monetize ur tracks through sound cloud, pay the pro membership fee and then there is the repost “artist plan” fee you must pay on top of that. By doing this they have 100% legal distribution rights over your music and they collect 20% royalty fee. So to sum it up. To take full advantage of what repost does, one must pay x2 subscription fees, plus bend the knee to a 20% royalty fee if one of ur songs manages to go viral. It is fun though and a great way to connect with artist and hear new music. Just make sure your ready to pay a bunch of money.
TERRIBLE UPDATE
The new update makes everything so expensive… i like how you actually have to listen to songs but theres not really much difference in having 700 followers and 20 followers now, no matter what ur pay 10-25 credits to them for a repost. Its wild. The old repostexhange was way better

You guys really did a disservice with the aesthetics of the redesign, the old layout was 100 times easier to navigate and not so bright either ( i prefer darker backgrounds instead of everything being white ) I went from easily being able to find things to being so confused i feel like i cant navigate the interface anymore
Authentic Engagement, Listens/Plays.
I’ve been an avid fan, user, and personal promoter of Repost Exchange for years now. The only platform that I can see has real authentic engagement with other artists to like and repost music to other fans/listeners on SoundCloud. This most recent update as of the end of Oct/beginning of Nov 2024 is not the most user friendly … I definitely like the old layout much better. Most of my repost requests that come in on the app are not able to be played unfortunately. The overall layout is just not as easy as the previous version of the app. Love it for pc, wish the app was the similar like for example the option to add songs to your personal SC playlists from the app like on pc. Overall, honestly a win is a win!💪🏾 Love repost exchange!🔥 Would highly recommend for any artists who needs cheap, affective promo. 🔥 Definitely a continuous effort but worth it!💪🏾
Reduced Value and Accessibility in the Free Plan

Please Add Clickable "Like" buttons!
i have already spent hundreds of dollars to promote my music through ReEx. i'm not completely satisfied. Please add clickable 'like' buttons so that people can like my songs without reposting them. i want to 'like' other peoples' songs without reposting them. i can't. Everybody who uses the app would benefit. the like buttons don't work. i can ONLY like a track through re-ex through the repost form. The "heart" buttons don't work AT ALL. They re-direct to MY soundcloud profile, not the song i liked or the artist's profile. If i try to like a song through re-ex i get re-directed to my own soundcloud profile. I see no way to contact the developers through the app itself. That's weird, because at one point, Re-ex scheduled an interview with me about my user experience. I am a fan of this platform, but it is causing my songs to have more reposts than likes. That's not cool. It shows everybody that i'm trying too hard to promote the track. it isn't even fair, because people can't click like without reposting my track. you can only repost 12 tracks a day. I hear new music i like on Re-Ex. I'd have clicked "like" if i heard it on soundcloud. Please improve the functionality of Re-Ex.
Unnecessary change
Ive been using this app for a long time and it has been helpful getting my music out there but after the recent change I don’t see myself using it as often they charge 10 credit’s minimum now and take of 5 credits as a “fee” this makes it take 2 times longer to gather enough credits to promote my music and instead of dropping the price for purchase they left it the same I would much rather now invest my money into a promoter instead of this app unless they drop the price I don’t see myself using this app as much as I have before

Ich habe in den letzten Monaten mehrere Tracks hochgeladen und durch den Algorithmus von SoundCloud auch ein paar Clicks & Follower bekommen. Als ich meine erste Kampagne gestartet habe, hat sich meine Followerzahl in 3 Tagen verdoppelt, ich habe unfassbar viel Feedback in den Kommentaren bekommen (wirklich unterstützendes und hilfreiches) und habe das Gefühl, endlich in der Szene angekommen zu sein. Die Website tut also genau das, was sie verspricht! Die App ist allerdings etwas ausbaufähig. Überall sind kleine Bugs versteckt, die die Nutzung anstrengender machen, als sie sein sollte.

What’s happened?
Used to be really good, but recently I’m becoming more than frustrated since the last update. Change in layout looks both cheap and amateur in design and functionality. Struggling to stop a campaign and increase credits which prevents me promoting it effectively - now need to wait for campaign to run down to zero which stops many reposting my track when a campaign has few credits remaining. The charts have also increasingly become biased towards those who spend rather than quality of the tracks. It’s amazing since I stopped buying credit packs that none of my tracks make the charts anymore, when previously they consistently did. Please rectify the situation or provide guidance how to navigate the app better (as very little guidance online since update)

Really enjoying Repost Exchange so far… some limitations with free subscription but it has not only been helping me get my music out there but has also been a great way to get exposed to others’ music I wouldn’t have otherwise discovered… give it a go!

Support is very limited in as much as trying to get material meshed with Repost Exchange A better detailed guide is needed. I’ve paid for service and at day four still am not posting anything on Repost Exchange.

to support others artists or bands , otherwise I would be an A&R at the @umg #UMG , but in that case I’ll be payed 100.000$. p.yr. . It’s a little bit frustrating, but Repost as a Distributor, till today it’s Ok , I can’t say more , because I’m in the middle of a CLASS ACTION against DISTROKID , whose stolen me ( and others 3.247 musician around the world ) about 750.000 downloads in 3 yrs . So now ... it’s about 2 month I’m with #repostnetwork , and I wish I could speaking well of them in the nearby future . my tracks are on soundcloud.com/andywalker-4 since about 2010 , so I said ...why not ... if Repost it’s a Soundcloud property.... who can tell ... you must live for acting .
The BEST Organic Growth For Starters (I’ve Seen)
It seems to me as though most of the users critical of this app do not understand how to use it. Re-Ex is very straightforward about what to expect from their platform! I had my first track reach 1k plays off about 50-60 reposts, and this was a year BEFORE Soundcloud added First Fans! If you aren’t having even a little bit of success, you aren’t using this service right, or your music quality simply isn’t good 🤷🏽♂️ I’ve connected and grown with like-minded music family globally, which wouldn’t have happened without Re-Ex. Run a campaign, ask for feedback, send/repost tracks with similar ambitions as yours: it really is that simple. ~Ursinae

Really good app I just wish you can repost more songs with the free plan like 10 songs every 12 hours is crazy for people who actually wanna grind the app and get good and get plays n build a following because sometimes reposting 10 songs can only get you like 25 credits and it’s 50 for a campaign meaning you gotta wait a whole 24 hours get 50 to start a campaign for a guy with hella followers to repost you take all your credits and you only get 3 plays from that is so stupid and I also don’t like how the app isn’t as good as the actual website online so please fix all that and this app will be popping and would bring SoundCloud back up to being popular again by the way I’m not the only one who thinks these are problems I’ve seen at least 100 people say the same things I’m saying
Good website, bad app, ugly history
Repost exchange has been a game changer in my music career, having the ability to share other peoples music in exchange (no pun intended) for credits and using those to get your song promoted by other creators. Their app before would work like a. Charm no problem. But since the update I’ve been unable to sign in with the app using my Google account as it doesn’t comply with G-secure browser policy. Such a shame as this would’ve allowed me to use this on the go. Guess it’s when I’ve got my laptop with me only

I have been trying for the last month to login to RepostExchange and I am always unsuccessful. Every time I login, their is some error that happens and it keeps telling me to reload the page. I want to promote my music on this app but it’s just annoying how logging in is stopping me from doing that. Please fix this devs

Very helpful platform with a few things to consider
I just got the app yesterday and my first impressions were that it may be a little buggy. When I was trying to type into the fields to sign in it kept acting as if I was pressing enter when I had not completed typing my details.. minor issue as I am now signed in and it seems to be streamlined and easy to understand. I also feel like the credit system should be more generous to those who pay for the artist or network plans and I don’t know that making it more costly to request repost from artists with more followers is really helping to get someone’s music out there. I also feel like the credit reward system for sharing track upon track is so low it encourages spam-like sharing from users rather than a more engaged approach with tracks that they really like. It’s better to post 10 tracks you truly believe in and your following will likely believe in than spamming hundreds of tracks a day just to get credits and without any real interest in sharing the artists music.. All that aside, this platform over the past two weeks has helped me immensely in turning what has become quite a stagnant SoundCloud profile back into a more thriving page where people regularly come to listen to my music.. two weeks and I have gained quite a lot of momentum so I will continue to use the platform as it is helping to get my creations to a wider audience

Been using this app for a day and not only have I managed to gain some plays and followers on my tracks I’ve also found some good music, one thing I’d say to the devs (if they still actually update the app) is that the app could definitely benefit from an updated ui as the current ui is really outdated looking and probably puts off a lot of people
Nice app with some flaws
I do enjoy the app and the idea behind it, you can network and connect with heaps of other musicians. The app is still extremely buggy and there’s room for improvement. - if you reposted stuff it should not come up again in your feed - if you reposted a track the site should not refresh so you have to scroll to where you have been before - should be easier to get exactly the genre you want instead of similar genres

Credits being ripped
Some campaigns work but after done a few times the results get super dull, i had a track with 140 credits left got a 4 reposts and 3 likes and it went down to 122 and then i got 1 repost later and it finished the campaign. dont know where my other credits went to, this app is inconsistent and feels like a robbery, credit packs are pricy they need a 10-15$ option, loved this app at first but im noticing flaws as i go this stuff needs to improve really need support on this i buy credits frequently i want them to be used as promo
