Garbage
This software is garbage. I’m not able to find a way to change it from metric to Feet/Inches. There is no option for scale like 1/2”=12”. There’s no option to use the scroll wheel for zooming in/out. Not made for someone that knows construction/Architectural drafting to make your own floor plan/blueprints. I’m sure there is a lot of other things that don’t work like you expect for this type of app. I deleted it within the first 10 minutes of installing it. Yes, that’s not a lot of time but when you’ve already looked through every setting etc. and what you expect to find isn’t there it doesn’t take long to know this is garbage.
Major Missing Feature!
The app is amazing and I've been having a lot of fun designing with it. However, It's super weird to me that there seems to be no way for walls to snap in place? Like, when drawing a wall, It would be a lot more convenient if there was a way that it could snap to the meter instead of me having to zoom all the way in and line it up myself... If this was added to the app I would have no complaints!

Why isn’t there a stat window or “something” to show the number of rooms and square footage….and other important information for the buildings you design in the 2d view.

I love the program. I designed a 3500sq ft house and I have never designed anything. The draftsman only made a few changes to pass code. It was easy to learn and start designing. . I want to thank 4Plan for creating such a great app!
Does not state it costs money
I do not have a problem with spending the money for this product but why does it not tell you up front! You have to go through the whole install process and create an account then BOOM give me money. Tell me up front what it costs what else are they hiding?
Excellent tool
This tool has helped me to quickly take a space as a starting point. However, I still have to take measurements because it has an error within an 1 inch.
Horrible update.
I have used this app since 2023 or so and have never had anything to complain about prior to this update. the color options being expanded was nice i guess but the way the selections pop up completely blocks the view of whatever i'm trying to color and having to go back and forth just to see what i'm doing is very annoying. Also if i like a certain color but want it darker, i no longer have that option. The value slider is gone now and unless you have knowledge of how the color slider program works and color theory and all that , it's just harder to mess with.i have never left a review for an app before but this update bothered me so much i figured out how to do it just to make my point.
Almost great, wish it would stop forgetting hours of work
I’ve been enjoying playing with this, but since I’m slightly more serious than just doodling (professional planner, coming up with ideas to field with the community, but not an actual architect), it’s a little too simple. Pros: the catalog of objects is good, lots of stuff to put in the houses. There are lots of wall and floor textures. There’s some good edit-ability, like you can change the height, width and depth of pretty much anything. Cons: the biggest one is that occasionally, I will work on a project for an hour, then close the project and the next time I open the app, it has forgotten everything I’ve done since the previous use. It doesn’t seem to be associated with internet connectivity or anything, it happens when I’m on cell data and on wifi. The actual construction pieces of the app, like walls, stairs, roof shapes, are super limited. The roofs don’t snap except outside to outside edge of walls. There should be a snapping point that fits some standard eave overhang, doesn’t have to be a million options. It would also be nice if roofs snapped to each other. Dormers would be a good component to add. Also the gabled roofs don’t have side walls, just a big gaping hole on the side. You can’t even make a sloped wall to fill the space, the best I could do was make a wall in a bunch of segments of increasing height. There are no railings on the straight stairs, it would be nice if that was a toggle on the “edit” page so you can add “left” and “right” separately. The beds should be standard bed size by default, like twin/double/queen/king, instead they’re all random, and default to way oversized. It would be nice if there was a shape that’s a flat circle, for designing an ADA wheelchair turn-around, which should default to a 60-inch diameter. Currently I use a round table and make it 4” tall. It would be nice to be able to apply wall color and texture to an entire room, rather than each wall segment at a time. And finally, while there are a lot of doors, there are missing standard home doors like a double sliding glass door, and closet doors, like a double sliding door or a bifold. Just a little more polish would make this a really satisfying app, like I could make houses that 3D render to look like a place I might actually want to live.
Easy to use and looks great!
This app is a perfect tool for very precise room planning. I appreciate being able to switch between the 2D and 3D view so easily.

Please give a basement option!!
I love this app, it’s so great. Biggest wish is for a basement option to be added though, as a midwesterner where they are extremely common. More yard options would be nice, such as pools, pergolas, decking options, etc. Also, if there could be a “select more than one” option. For example, if you are choosing to do all exterior walls a style, you have the option to select many at a time. And maybe the option to do half wall designs (such as board and batton). Again, love the app, but it has room to grow!
Missing Features
Some seemingly simple additional features would make this a really great app. It would be great to group walls or room and move it to another area or mirror it and move it. You should be able to cut and paste between floors. On a higher level, the ability to create layers within each floor and locate electrical components and plumbing.

This is a handy app for basic home/room layout. I purchased the full yearly subscription. It is fairly intuitive to use and the learning curve is not too bad. So far no serious glitches or crashes. Some tools like text and measurements are not intuitively located. Concerned that support email address is not valid. Overall I’m happy with this app but feel it is a bit overpriced. Addendum: The developer contacted me regarding the contact email and it does work. That was likely my error.

I really like the app and making houses is very fun. I also really like the AR mode feature. I just think that they should add more free items, or lower the price of premium

This app is so aesthetic it is so satisfying so I’m getting a new room and it’s gonna be like a room like I’m sharing it with my cousin and the room is two beds. Two dressers a TV in the bathroom toilet a bathtub because like you know we need a bathtub and then a sink and just like a little dresser thing and it is so amazing like I said satisfying aesthetic and it just brings me so much joy and I get to show my mom on my cousin like the room idea cause my cousin has an app to. and yeah so it’s just like such an amazing app and I love it. Shout out to this app. It’s amazing it is just such a work of art. I am so happy whoever created this app posted it to the world because they really deserve it and I’m just so grateful for this app and it’s just amazing so thank you for whoever made this app.

To summarize, it’s great, but many higher quality things are locked for premium, and I can’t get a roof. Sorry but not paying the subscription! There’s a go back option you can tap to reverse your mistakes and to be honest, for teens, they could want something like a hidden room, or normally a basement, there’s no option for that as I can see, so maybe fix that please? Thank you, creators this app is overall an 8/10!
Good App, but a lot of stuff is locked behind a paywall
I’m an artist and I downloaded this app to design some rooms for my artwork. At first I liked it, but when I realized that a lot of basic stuff, for example an arched doorway, is locked behind a paywall, I decided to uninstall and switch to another app.
Ok
I think that the only way you can really get the job done and enjoy this app is to buy premium. Which is pretty upsetting. I can’t even add a roof without premium. Which is ridiculous. I would only recommend if you’re willing to pay a yearly fee of 30 something dollars or 9 dollars a month.

I have already left a review about how I’m able to view things in the app, but another thing that has been bothering is the fact that if I add the roof before I am completely finished with the build, then I’m not able to see into the rooms from above anymore. I think it would be great if an option to hide the roofs were added, similar to the one that can be used on the walls.

Absolutely top notch. I double checked the measurements after the room scanner and they were only a few inches off each time. I recommend going room to room to get the full floor plan as it sometimes kicks you out if you try to do it all in one. Otherwise impeccable.
DO NOT BUY THIS APP.

Easy To Draw Precision Floor Plans
I needed to draw up a floor plan to get permits for building in our basement. I tried a number of other apps and this was my favorite. I appreciated how smooth it was to create precise and to-scale walls. When lengthening or shortening, inside and outside wall dimensions were displayed by the inch. Then through the View menu at the top, you can enable of disable snapping and lock features. Another great feature is the ability to use the room inspector to setup labels for each room showing a combination of room titles, total square ft, or dimensions. At one point, I had a question about using the app and was able to get a response from 4Plan support the next day.
Not enough options
I’m redoing my room soon and wanted to plan it out. I decided to get this app because it had good reviews. Right away it seemed easy to use and I was really excited to start planning. I went to shelves and realized all of them were locked except for the first and worst one. I’m planning to have floor to ceiling shelves and the only option is a 2x2 cubicle shelf. I decided I could just imagine what the shelves would look like and could plan the rest of the room….nope. Almost everything is locked in every category. So if you want to pay money to virtually plan your room/home I think this would be good but if not then DO NOT download. It’s a waste of time.

Beginner friendly and must be creative
This app was so easy to learn and easy to maneuver. I wish it had more shortcuts, I found myself repeating so many tasks that couldn’t be duplicated (like wall textures/colors). I also wish there were slightly more options for the free version. BUT that is where the creativity comes in. I’ve made sooo many things improvising with my free options. Overall, I LOVE this app and it’s helped me gain so much inspiration and help into building my own home.
Cannot modify size of the text that shows the dimensions of a large room of a home.
I wish I could show a picture. Designing a mansion that’s 68x138 and the font size for the main rooms dimensions are so small I can’t see it. I’ve researched it exhaustively with ai and it’s just not in the cards. It’s a shame it’s a nice app

Приложение хорошее но есть пару недочетов. Из плюсов: - простой интерфэйс, даже ребенок разберется. - большой выбор материалов. - возможность задавать размеры стен/помещений. - даже бесплатно можно создать схематичный проект ( что где будет стоять/приблизительный материалы,цвета) Из минусов: 1.При постройке стен, приложение выравнивает их, друг по другу даже если это не нужно, из-за этого невозможно поставить стену (например создать коробку из стен в которую зашита труба), сделайте возможно для отключения выравнивания. 2.При увеличении ширины стены, расширения идет от центра в обе стороны, добавьте возможность выбирать в какую сторону нужно расширение, иначе мы снова оказываемся в ситуации описанной в первом пункте. 3.Понимаю ,от версии без подписки многого ждать не стоило, но если вы уж добавили каждого предмета по одному варианту, то и стиральную машинку стоило добавить( у кого сейчас её нет?) 4. Так же было бы лучше использовать абсолютно базовые виды предметов, которые доступны бесплатно, а то настенная полка в виде квадрата с 4 ящиками, меня весьма удивила. 5.Могла не заметить есть ли такая функция ,но добавьте возможность сделать балкон, не комнату, а именно лоджию.
Планировка
Не возможно нарисовать участок и расположить на нем дом и постройки: нет линий, соответственно их не соединить и не спроектировать, на тонких отрезках (всё что можно нарисовать) нет выбора толщины линии. Для дизайна (за деньги), может и получится, а просто чертеж/ проект составить - не подходит.
Оч скудно
Начертить стены норм, а вот по мебели оч скудно за такие деньги, нет возможности скачать дополнительные каталоги с мебелью, шкафы больше на комоды похожи, например шведской стенки нет, для проектирования 2000-х пойдет, но ни как не сейчас.
