Tennis - Live Scores reviews
4.0 out of 5, based on 109 reviews.
What people like
- Super fast and accessible scores
- Clean interface is easy to use
- Radial format for tournament draws
What they complain about
- Scores don't refresh automatically
- No replays or major players
- Terrible navigation and poor tracking
- No push notifications available
Much improved
Scores are fast and uncluttered. This is my new go to app for tennis. And check out the radial format draws in the tournaments section - the best way to follow a tournament
No news
I can get scores just about anywhere. Sad they got rid of need and stories.
Good
All you have to do is add notifications. Thanks!
Out Dated
Navigation on this app is terrible Results tracking poor Looks like a side gig for college crowd
Good for iPhone, bad for iPad
Great app but it does not have a landscape version so it is not usable for an iPad
It’s about scores!
As a casual tennis fan, I enjoy keeping up with the big tournaments, and the Tennis.com app makes it easy to check scores and tournament draws. It's quick, clean, and to the point, all about the scores. I really love the new direction the app has taken. Bravo, Tennis Channel!
Terrible reboot
I’m a little late on this but not having the scores from a player’s recent matches has officially moved this app out of the useful category. I need to know how the player has been playing, especially with newer players. The player profiles are virtually useless now. Classic case of fixing something that wasnt broken. Also probably every other sports app has this feature of seeing previous scores so please put this feature back.
I like it, but
Overall the app works well, scores section is good, the news section can be better. After reading an article the news resets to the top, forcing user to scroll back to last spot , please fix!
Not Worth the Cost
This app is great for up to date news, current tournaments, etc., however you don’t get to see the major players in the major tournaments. Not even replays. Quite annoying! I understand the streaming legal rights but it’s quite the let down when you only watch tennis and don’t need ESPN or Dish with a million other sports. Only tennis!
App was better before USO
I appreciate the reshuffling of the app to prioritize live scores, but the scores don’t actually refresh so it’s kinda pointless on the consumer end. Additionally, I love the tournament tab for showing the draw as well as the schedule, but the schedule for multiple tournaments is waaaay messed up, to the point that several show ‘Day 367 of 9.’ So. Again, nice idea, terrible execution. The app functioned better before the USO, and on the whole I prefer the prior version. Should the developers choose to address the issues they created, I would definitely prefer the current version.
New update is outstanding
Scores, schedules and tournaments + ranking info are now… all super fast and accessible! Big improvement. Thanks!
Horrible mandatory update
Can’t read the scores as well. No news I want the old version back.
Very Good, Not Great App
This app will get five stars when it enables push notifications.
Difficult to get past the lack of iPad support
Having to use a phone app on an iPad is … well it’s just ugly. It’s difficult to want to use the app and, for that reason primarily, I find myself not using it. There are other apps that are universal and, as such, are just visually more appealing. Related question … why release an app before its ready for prime time? This would give the impression of a rushed app … or other possible deficiencies simply because of its appearance. I will revisit if/when this app becomes a universal app.
Like this update!
This update improves the user interface and it no longer stops my music when I open it
No version for iPad
I didn't realize that it was just for the iPhone. Very disappointing.
Easy quick and useful
super easy to just check what i need and if i want more info… just a click and i’m there! great way to keep track of the scores.
Latest update is not working correctly
The overall rearrangement is not user friendly. But the real problem is that when you go into a tournament the currents date does not populate! You have to work to get the current date to see match lineup. PLEASE FIX!
The redesign looks 🔥
Updating my review as this update fixes most of my past complaints
Slight problem
There’s a slight problem with the app. Like it’s not totally live along with while going through to see the scores. It disappears
App update
better interface, more video, easy access to tournaments and SCORES! Hoping push notifications to follow.
Finally!
I’m very pleased to see that Tennis.com is in the App Store now. Version 1 looks good keep it up!
Love it
Nice update. Much better than before.
