Love it! Game changer for me
Fantastic app! I read about IBS Coach on a best FODMAP app article and I'm really glad I did! It’s the complete fodmap plan, not just a list of fodmap foods that everyone struggles to use. So far, I’m loving the recipes, symptom tracker and daily education, and I’m looking forward to the reintro phase. Starting to feel good again. This is a great app if you’re beginning the fodmap diet and feeling overwhelmed. It will help you enjoy the diet, not suffer through it! Pros: it makes the diet easier. Great recipes, daily education, and a responsive team if you have a question. Cons: the reports are a bit basic, but the symptom tracking is good Totally worth the money for making my life easier. Thank you! I just started my plan and i'm thrilled with the recipes and meal planner... My other half loves the recipes so we don't have to cook twice now. If you're starting out, just get this app, it’s all you need. What I really like about the IBS Coach app is everything you need is in one app. I don’t need to think about finding recipes, writing shopping lists, or tracking symptoms separately. i thought this was more freeform but it is very guided (maybe to a fault). you cant record any meal unless its one of their recipes - its preset to skip lunch because you should eat leftovers (every single day??)
Nice tracker but disappointing
Pretty disappointing you don’t offer any assistance to vegans despite it being the fastest growing diet. It’s 2023, can’t be that hard…

So easy to use and so much help and guidance for IBS sufferers. I actually look forward to using it each day and tracking my symptoms
Frequent problems
The content of this app is good in that it has helped me manage my symptoms. However the app frequently breaks down making it impossible to follow an already restrictive eating plan and the benefits are diminished. Customer support are also extremely slow to respond and their response is often inadequate.

It’s a pretty good app. Very helpful as I’m trying to navigate this new diet.
Don’t love
The start date can’t be set back in time which means you spend four weeks on the elimination phase. If you get this app three weeks after you’ve been in elimination, then you’ll need to wait four more before you can get any information about the re-introduction phase. When looking at the weeks in the meal plans, you can’t go back in time to see what you had previously made and eaten. you cannot download recipes to PDF making them hard to save. Recipes are OK.

No help for vegans
Only AFTER they get my email address and I go through their little quiz do they tell me they “don’t care for vegans” and I should “come back later”. You should flag right upfront you don’t cater for vegans as you’ve got my data for nothing and wasted my time.

Really wanted this app to work but doesn’t even let me get through the assessment stage? Everytime I press to start it just stays on the same page.

This is an excellent app if you are new to the low FODMAP diet! Loved the structure and steps - i followed the diet and cooked from the large library of low fodmap meals (which are excellent) and my symptoms started to disappear. Can’t say thank you enough to the app makers!
I JUST WANT A QUCK WAY TO SEE WHAT I CAN EAT
I don’t need some app asking me 20 questions about my bowel movements I just want to know if I can buy arugula when I’m at the grocery store!!!!! If you need an AI to mange your symptoms, you actually don’t and are being taken advantage of by grifters, none of this stuff works

Cost per month
I would love to enjoy this app but not everyone can afford £19.99 a month but when I saw it used to be £139.99 for a month . I immediately regretted signing up for it and wish the app thought of people that are struggling with money . I am not happy with this . I was really exited for this app but now I can’t use it cause the price is stupid money!
Great recipes and help
This really helped knowing the foods and recipes to help me on my journey with Ibs. Little expensive but if your really struggling with Ibs it’s a great help. Limahl was really helpful when I had to sort my account out and the emails were useful.
Apps not supported
I loved the functionality of the app at first until I realised that after week one it wasn’t functioning. I don’t think they are supporting the app anymore as they won’t reply to help emails and the last version as you can see is very old. Try something else.
Great support
I was looking for something to help me navigate the IBS nightmare and found this via the only NHS support I got which was on their website! It has loads of articles and guided support coupled with recipe suggestions which are badly needed, especially in phase 1 elimination. The symptom tracker is good and has space to add notes. There’s a good variety of recipes so you aren’t stuck with variations of chicken salad!
An interrogation spyware
Kept asking me a million question , all very private. After the 45th question I decided to end it- why does it need my whole medical history , eating habits and personal facts just to let me use the app? Feels like spyware. Be careful

I used the free trial before subscribing and found it really helpful. The recipes and food directory as well as info was great. I felt a lot better using it and learned a lot after a long time not really getting anywhere. Thank you.

App Doesn’t work
Great reviews, so I spent the 39£! However the app doesn’t seem to work! The meals and recede section just shows an error message and the reporting section just says „oops, something went wrong. I’ve notified the tech wizard“ well that‘s great, but I have IBS symptoms and now have been waiting for days. I have also emailed the support twice and have not had any response back at all. I am hoping I will get a refund from apple as the app just doesn’t work properly and has promised a full 28 meal plan! Such a shame!
A great app for coaching to eat and live with IBS symptoms
My doctor “thought” I have IBS and suggested I try the low FODMAP diet. I did some research but it’s hard to keep on top of what you can and can’t eat, and in which quantity. IBS coach puts together a meal plan of low FODMAP elimination phase meals, with a shopping list, and they are delicious and easy to prep. My family didn’t notice we’re eating low FODMAP and I’m already feeling better. Each day you get to learn more - bite size - about how to live with IBS and it’s fascinating. I really recommend it! A few improvements proposals: - it would be great to be able to add the food we eat alongside the meal plan (chosen from the green foods of course) ie. A pre run snack - when symptoms disappear quicker than 4 weeks, it would be great to be able to move to reintroduction phase faster Thank you IBS team!
