Super clean user interface! Love it!
“No ads. No subscriptions. Totally free.” This app, from a well established company like WISE, has a SUPER CLEAN look, and the SIMPLEST and EASIEST user interface (UI). My one minor complaint is that the eight predefined “Popular” currency conversions cannot be deleted. Many are of no use to me and I am forced to see them. Please give the option to remove the “Popular” list, just like we can un-check the star to un-favourite our own custom list of currencies. Thanks. Kudos to this app’s design team to stay focused on the core purpose of this app.👍

Mixed and basic
It should have a simple button to reverse the conversion instead of needing two separate lines. Furthermore the entry field should have a calculate functionality so you can enter an amount as a calculation like 570x15 instead of having to open another app to do the calculation. These two simple features would be a great improvement.
Pull to Refresh Option
Hi Team, Would it be possible to add a “Pull to Refresh” option on the “Rates” tab. With the newer iPhones with bigger RAM, the app stays in the background longer and sometimes the rates aren’t updated until I force-reopen the app or hit the “Convert” tab again.
Basic functionality missing
Why is it not possible to rearrange favorites so I can select which one is at the top? Why is it not possible to delete the popular ones? Who cares what is popular when I don't need any of them? They are just taking up unnecessary screen real estate.

I love this app because you can get rates sent to you email everyday! You will always know when it’s time to buy the currency you are using at the best time! I get the email and watch my favorite currencies so I know right when to transfer!
Buggy
I love Wise and their app for transfers. It is a groundbreaking service and has saved me hundreds over the years. This app needs work, is buggy, lags, and doesn’t come near to the efficiency or facility of the XE app for the same purpose. i downloaded this converter app solely because of my admiration of the Wise transfer app but it has a long way to go to become something I would use.
Time delay
It's works to get you in the ballpark of the exchange, but it lags behind what the current upto date exchange rate is.
Network error
Can't use the rates page due to A constant 'network error' error message.
Ok, could be better
In short, ‘Currency’ has a better app and widget. I’d like for this app to be better as I use Wise for payments - I use the ‘Currency’ widget all day, everyday. Hopefully this app will improve so I make the switch

Almost Perfect
The app works exactly as intended however, one thing that’s holding it back from a 5 star is the inability to download conversion rates on app. This seems pretty simple to do since the app is basically a calculator. I should be able to download my favorites (favourites) and use them in situations where I might not have network access.
Doesn’t recognize US dollar even when listed as converting to USD.
Problem using USD. When you click on link to figure out the exchange conversion the USD switches to GBD.
Favourites don’t do Conversions
I set up a number of favourites for conversion combinations eg EUR to USD, CHF to MYR and the time data is accessible but, if I want to convert actual sums, I cannot enter figures into the amount box of any of my favourite combinations!! There is under each favourite a link to run the conversion but you can’t enter amounts. This worked when I first downloaded the app but not now. I can only do it now but getting out of favourites and into the conversion section. Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max. iOS version 17.5.1 Please get it back. Thanks

Widgets broken in dark mode
The widgets look terrible in dark mode. There is a bug introduced months ago that hasn’t been fixed.
Love this app, but customer support access needs improvement
I absolutely love this app, but I can’t access the keyboard to key in numbers for the last 24 hours. I tried deleting & reinstalling the app multiple times as well as restarting my iPhone multiple times. I’ve also tried accessing the support templates within the app to no avail. It would be supper helpful if wise had a quick chat option for troubleshooting. I know low operational overhead keeps customer fees low, but there are just some things that need human connection to resolve.

You can’t change the default conversion. It sucks. Always GBP to EURO. If we could change that, easy 5/5
Clean — Room 4 Improvement
There are no ads and the app has a nice clean interface. I like the design. I only wish the currency converter wouldn’t default back to GBR/EUR, or whatever. Did your developers assume that British people were the only ones using the app? This forces me to search for the currencies I want to convert every time… almost rendering the app useless at the times I actually need a quick conversion.

Best of all, it’s free! Very clean design and easy to understand. This app is super quick, stable and responsive. Conversion rates are always up to date. Big plus, you can also send your conversions directly to Wise for seamless money transfers. Great app!

This app is not working anymore. When I open the app it shows a network error popup. Please fix it.

This app was a good one at first, and now it has constant glitches which happen at the worst time! I will be looking for another app that can be more reliable!

feature request: Show more currency convert
when we compare the two currencies, we need to compare them with the USD as a reference. Therefore, it would be better if more currencies could be added for comparison on the convert page. For example, I can compare USD of the other 2 countries.
bad widgets
The widgets are all ugly since the last update, the widgets window has two black lines around the side the background color or something is wrong. Please fix it it’s mad ugly like this…
Almost perfect
Love the simplicity of the APP, but please add a default currency option in settings or remember the last conversion currencies in the drop-down list. It very user unfriendly to default back to Euros and Pounds every time you open the app.

UPDATE: going from 1 star to 5. it’s working again. Thanks for fixing the bug! ….. I’m a Wise customer, and this app was so convenient. However, in the past week it has ceased functioning. There is no way to access the numeric keypad to input numbers. So the app is non-useable! Please update the app to fix this bug?

Excellent app and a smart move by Wise. It desperately needs the ability to reorder favorites, and the ability to select longer default timescales in the chart in favorites.
Network Error
I keep getting a network error pop-up in the rates page. It keeps asking me to check my connection even when I’m connected via WiFi.
Will be great once issues sorted
Widget is always blank. App cannot be customised. Would love to be able to set my ‘from’ and ‘to’ currencies, so that I don’t have to enter them every time I open the app. It’s surprising how quickly, and often, the Wise app is updated but not this one.

Visually appealing app perfect for quick reference. Unfortunately, it does not allow the user to place currency pairs in a preferred order.
Defaults to euro to USD
Would really love this app but the fact that it reverts to currencies that are not helpful to me and I have to set it up all over again. The website odd great.
Mostly useful- could be improved
Having the currency graphs is helpful, but the convert function is strange! The fee for conversion results in ‘sending’ less than the amount desired—this is different from the site! How much is 750 EUR in CAD? Answer: 1012$ equals 746 with fee. But I want to send 750 EUR, so how much in CAD for this amount; it’s not 746 EUR. Please make this like the website.
