What people like
- Clean interface with no app name under widgets
- Looks beautiful and highly customizable on home screen
- Transparency feature works better than competitors like Widgy
What they complain about
- Most features are locked behind a paywall
- Price is too high for what you get
- Widgets often fail to update or refresh properly
- New iOS updates broke the transparent background look
Paid for Lifetime — Worth It
I actually think this is the only app I’ve used that genuinely has beautiful customizability. The app is really clean with its aesthetic versus their competitors (the other ones just feel kinda janky). In all honesty I feel like the lifetime price is worth it (that is if the developers don’t change that and make it strictly subscription based after), considering how it looks on my home screen. I wish I could attach photos of my screen because it’s so cute now! I think my only recommendation would be if there was a way to make the text less blurry when you make the widget XL (it just looks a little choppy). I don’t know if you’re able to make it to where I wouldn’t have to use shortcuts for the apps I use anymore (apple sucks with showing you the notification that you’re using a shortcut) but it would be cool if you could. Otherwise, solid app!
Terrible
This is terrible worse than what I’ve seen your just money hungry like CapCut and I thought i could escape the ads but no. Everything is just pro. Fixed or not I ain’t buying shi. Unless you wanna buy stuff go get it.
Beautiful but not enough
I love the clean vibes and customisation, but there’s just not enough I would give 5 stars if they expanded and gave more widgets and possibly stand by themed ones too?
PAYWALL
Shouldn’t need to pay for simple stuff like customization
Too expensive
I have to pay for everything but the photos please add more free things.
Lov it
It's not really working but I love it anyways! (￢‿￢ )
Bad
You have to pay a lot
just one thing i need
this app is almost perfect - it’s not scammy the way literally every other widget app is, the name of the app doesn’t display under the widgets (super nice) and there’s a lot of customization built in. with that in mind i have ONE request. i use other widget apps so i can get exactly one feature this app does not provide, and that is a small widget calendar that shows all the months dates. they have a version for medium widgets but for small widgets it will only say the current date and time. please add this one feature and i will never use any other app again thank you.
Not enough widgets for $30
The widgets are super nice but they’re extremely limited, for the amount you pay it’s just not worth it.
Save ur money
I paid money to also have to pay for a membership. That’s like annoying.
Love it
Fun app, I love using it.
NOT WORTH ANY OF IT
completely a waste of money, don’t do it
Review of the app :)
It’s a good app, works well but should have a few more instructions on how to add the widgets on different parts of the phone for instance the lock screen.I have emailed about this, but still await a response.
Photos.
Image changed. I out in a widget to look but it changed my icon, doesn’t even say photos and don’t know how to change it back
Needs a few more options
Option to turn off the leading zero on clocks, also more font choices
I LOVE IT
❤️
Bug????
Just paid 30 dollars for the premium version, no matter what I do or try it won’t let me put any of my customizable widgets on the Lock Screen just a plain text box widget. Not impressed to say the least.
It’s great but needs more
I really like the widgets but some data doesn’t sync correctly such as battery life would show 50% on my phone, but the widget displays 52%. Also, similar to the weather - would render 6 but in the weather app it’s 5. It has to be accurate, needs some reviewing! Really good so far though!
To much stuff to pay for
I hate the fact that i cant use widgets with pictures without paying honestly thats the only issue i get that ur trying to make money but gosh
Buggy
Retro pad isn’t syncing correctly with Spotify.
Best app!!!
Easy to understand interface and lots of options to choose from
Horrible
I wasted an hour trying to create a transparent widget. Everything in this app is paid. The only thing that is free is the download button. You have to pay to color something. To add a photo. To add multiple photos. To blur the background. I’ve been using this app for years to create transparent widgets and now they don’t even let you do that for free. I couldn’t find anything free on this app as of currently. Everyone told me that to make them transparent you have to set the background, which I have done. But no one tells you how to actually set the widget on the Home Screen to be the transparent one, which you have to pay money for now. This used to be amazing but just became a massive money grab. Horrible, just horrible developers.
One of... The best widget customizer apps
I wish there were more customizations on individual widgets to choose what info is shown, colors, etc like the music widget. I previously used widgetpod for this - I like how customizable theirs was but it was just glitchy. MD widgets fixes the glitches but it's not as customizable. I wish we could customize the weather widget info that's displayed. Also I wish the music widget would update more frequently - I keep having to tap the album art to refresh it to the current song. Same with the weather widget - it doesn't update to my current location like the stock apple weather app would.
Great but overpriced
Super cute and easy to use… if you pay for it. You can add what you make to your home screen for free but it covers your added image unless you pay for pro. Sooo not free and not worth it.
App is missing title
The app title is blank on the home screen. Is this a bug?
Elegant Widget
I love this app, I’ve been subscribed to it for the longest time! It really sucks that Apple removed the API to stop allowing 3rd party apps to make borderless/non-outlined widgets after iOS26 launched. Great app nonetheless, that’s not the dev’s fault—just platform ceiling. Anyhow, I would love to see more options for the Liquid Glass clocks (I love the uniform one, but it’s just way too thin), and even weather—this would look so sick! I would also love to have an option to set blur backgrounds as before, but more aligned with the tinted Liquid Glass native UI. The only way I’m getting this effect at the moment is by using the native clear/tinted icons. Love the app! Keep up the great work! 🥰🤌🏻🙏
Useless!!!
All the widgets look amazing and elegant, but of course you have to pay a one time fee to use all the designs, which is for lifetime. They only give you like 5 free widget, which are mostly just for music. I wouldn’t bother downloading this app, unless you’re willing to pay $29.99 or if discounted $19.99.
Love but need more options
I really like this app! Loved customizing my home screen, but it is really expensive. I unlocked the premium but for $20 I did think there would be more options. Will more styles continue to be added and more abilities to customize the widgets? I hope so because it’s a great app but just need some more variety for the price!!
price
the app seems to actually be really good but the price for a lifetime is so expensive 😭😭 i really wish the price was cheaper for a lifetime use instead of a subscription
Lots of room for improvement
Only app there is that i’m aware of that uses a liquid glass widgets and allows them to be transparent, invisible through the wallpaper, but there are a lot of bugs and a lot of issues with some of the widgets, especially the eye board widget, which has an issue blending into the background. it’s a cool app and a really great concept but there’s a room for improvement.
I just love this app
It's fun to get all of the things you want. Together on your ipad
They got greedy
They turned off ALL their features and made it pro overnight. What they offer for $30 is laughable. Offer a cheaper price and subscription is scummy. Please don’t reply with a canned ChatGPT response. Not worth $30, I’d maybe be willing to pay a ludicrous $10 and that’s because I really needed these features but at $30 please. For what? What is on offer here that is worth that? Clearly not the only one thinking this. Congrats on pissing off your customers because you got greedy.
What happened to Liquid Glass??
I’ve been on the developer beta for iOS26 for a hot minute now and the widgets were Liquid Glass prior to the full iOS26 launch. Now, they’re blurry, not transparent and I’ve tried seeing if maybe any settings in my app changed, but no. So there’s no Liquid Glass, but besides that, I actually really like the app and have multiple widgets on my phone.
Transparent Background is Gone
Prior to the iOS 26 update, the transparent backgrounds were perfect and looked amazing. However, with this new update introducing liquid glass styled icons, the backgrounds are no longer truly transparent as you can now clearly see the outline of the icon. It takes away from the clean, seamless look and my Home Screen much aesthetically pleasing. Hopefully an update will soon address this issue because the original design was spot on.
transparent widgets don't work with ios 18 when apps are in tinted mode
i've used this app for a while n it's been really good and the transparent widgets were clean. the new update now that i've used it and figured out how it works since the ios 26 update the transparent widgets don't work on my iphone still running ios 18 unless i use the default or dark mode app icons. please fix this i want transparent widgets to work properly on ios 18 when im in tinted mode since i dont plan on updating to ios 26 right now as i am not a big fan of the new design.

Music
MD vinyl was really the only thing I bought this for and it doesn’t work. It barely updates when a song comes on, refresh doesn’t work, even if I delete the widget and put it back on. It only slightly worked when I first made the widget but was still incredibly choppy.
Great… until
It was working perfectly until the latest iOS updates. Things which have backgrounds that I set like the I board and other status boards become clear\glass and ruin the whole aesthetic of my device. When I switch to tinted mode .
Music widget keeps freezing
The music widget keeps freezing on one track and doesn’t update or refresh, even when I tap on it or close the app and open it again. I would expect the music widget to automatically update in sync with my spotify instead of me having to refresh it every time. Not a great experience.
Black background on every widget
For a few days now all my transparent widgets changed to a black background. I cant find a way to fix it. Great app, will go to 5 stars once its fixed.
Md widgets
Such a great app many things available to customize your phone. I love this app! Give it a try!
Just don’t download waste of time
Waste of time
Pls update
I’d like the album background to show its real color, not be tinted. Pls update
Weather wrong reading
The weather shows 270, 280 degrees etc. I've updated it but the issue hasn't been fixed which is a shame.
Worked at first but now not blank.
When you have a widget on the Home Screen, previously, there would be no widget name under the widget on the Home Screen. But now, there is a fuzzy icon name on the screen.
Underrated
This is a surprisingly quality app!!
tout est payant, ya que un truc qui est gratuit

Great Job!
Way better then Widgy with the transparency feature no more image anymore is way better as it doesn’t get offset when moving to the next page on your Home Screen.
Too much PRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s so annoying EVERYTHING is pretty much PRO! 😡😤
Great concept but it’s a bit unreliable.
I like the app and the concept, and was happy to pay for the pro upgrade. When it works, it’s great. However, I have my background change throughout the day and half the time the widget doesn’t update accordingly. Sometimes forcing changing the scenes back and forth fixes it, sometimes I need to reboot my phone.
