“The best wallpaper”
Finally a wallpaper app that truly delivers I love it.
I’M NOT PAYING TWICE!
No option to login with a google account. I already paid for pro version with google. Why is there only Apple ID log in with this app. All other iOS apps have both options except this one!
Steady decline?
Huge supporter since the first days, on both Android and iOS platforms, which you can easily check for my account. Bought everything there was to buy, every collection, in app, gumroad ones - everything. Wallpaper quality varying is a normal thing, and it's all subjective feel in the end. However for last several months, not to say a year, wallpaper quality seems to have steady decline. Walls are more and more basic and minimalistic, and not in a good way. It generally feels like a lack of effort or inspiration. All the recent streaks collections are kind of meh; sectors, circles, void, express, pro collection orbix... Pro Pack collection is completely forgotten, with fresh wallpaper every three months. Similar concepts are being reused over and over again. Please get some of the old inspiration back. UPDATE: Also a lot of AI mess, unfortunately. Since one of the taglines of the app is "original", I think it's failr to remove that. Old original designs mixed with AI slop, would be a better fit for current state of backdrop designs.
Desperate for some artists
This used to be one of the best wallpaper apps but for a while now the releases are not good and infrequent. The app itself is great but the AI Slop art is less than desired. I’ve considered deleting the app after having it for years
Can’t connect with Google account…
I have a paid subscription on my android phone with a Google account, but the iPadOS version supports only an Apple account. Could have been an amazing app had it been possible to login using a Google account.
Fabulous
All the other apps in Apple Store charge real money before we try anything so that makes this best
AI Wallpapers
This app has so many horrible AI slop wallpapers. I regret buying it years ago.
Still waiting on the dark app icon
Love the app. With the addition to this streaks section, when you claim the free coin you can’t click on any of the other tabs immediately. Also the bottom bar sometimes doesn’t stay to the Liquid Glass design and flash bangs you with a white bar. Lastly I still believe the app looks choppy when scrolling
Shell of what it used to be
With the most recent update, they somehow managed to add micro transactions to this app. They also removed previous purchases from collections tab. Many of the wallpapers at this point are now just AI slop.
“Wall of the week”
I’ve had the pro version of this app for years. The “daily” wallpaper changes weekly. I wouldn’t mind that if it was advertised appropriately. Also this app significantly better on android; more wallpapers, more categories, and the daily wallpaper updates more often. Not sure why they don’t care as much for users on iOS.
I have requests
can you please tell apple I want dynamic backgrounds for iOS 26 because in the stock settings back on iOS 18 there is only 1 dynamic background to choose from and in iOS 26 there is animated art work for Apple Music I would like to see apple opening dynamic backgrounds to developers I would love that and I want dynamic backgrounds to have options to choose how fast and slow the dynamic backgrounds to go
Used to be the goat - not anymore.
I’ve used this app for years, even paid for pro. Now you’ve got a streaks feature? Why would you do do that when every single other app is begging for attention from us as well? Things must be dire if my wallpaper app is begging for attention just so I can unlock some mid AI generated wallpapers. Good luck to everyone else, I’m uninstalling.
Good app with some issues
You get some really nice options and there are a TON of walls. My only nitpick is the “daily wallpaper” is not daily and some of the wallpapers look AI generated, especially in some of the paid packs. No thanks
App works and looks great!
I simply wish the dev would put more time into it. I have the Android version on my Google Pixel and it's nowhere near the same quality and missing a ton of features.
Average at best
This used to be a really good wallpaper app with the only monetized thing being the pro option. It’s now heavily monetized with multiple purchase points and diminishing value for pro users. Lots of retread wallpapers and no real innovation or bang for your buck in years. This is a very average app which would’ve been deleted had I not paid for pro.
One of a kind.
Unique wallpapers, no ads, what more could you want? I do have the pro version, which was cheap for a lifetime of ad-free wallpapers. I have legitimately never seen any of these wallpapers on any other website before. All of them are either illustrated, digitally designed, or photographed. I would be legitimately shocked to learn that any of their wallpapers are AI, considering the very high quality of each photo. I’ve used this app for years and it’s never failed me. Thank you!
Insanely greedy
This guy makes you pay for pro just to view the whole wallpaper before you save it to your phone lol I’m not going to pay for such a basic feature, especially one that was in the app unrestricted before. That’s hands down one of the slimiest things I’ve ever seen. What a loser.
Tap the up arrow to save! Then edit.
Found this little gem about 2015 or so and it’s only gotten better with time. Give it a try.
Low resolution wallpapers
All the wallpapers are way too low resolution to use on an iPad. Not sure if they’d be ok on a phone due to smaller overall screen.
Sign in with Apple doesn’t work
I like the app but unfortunately sign in with Apple doesn’t work.
One of the best wallpaper apps.
All of the wallpapers you could ever want!
Restore premium
Unable to restore my premium account facing blank screen error
How do I restore purchase of pro from android
This app is fire and I had gotten pro on android but I can’t restore that purchase on iOS. It gets stuck in the loading screen
Don’t bother with the free version
The free version of the app is very limited. If you browse a few wallpapers, you’ll have to watch a 30 second ad to continue. Only one download per day.
Great for iPhone only
I love the wallpaper app and the wallpapers but almost all wallpapers is suitable for iPhone only. Resolution is not great with iPad or Mac.
Love this Wallpaper App
I love this app. Everything about it. Awesome wallpapers with themes that are good quality(not blurry)Ex: graphic, colors, nature etc. Wallpapers are easy to download. Also, has no trials. I’d say that it’s a win/win to me.
ai slop
Why would I give you guys money for hundreds of images from Kxnt that were created in mid journey? I don’t think so.
great app but...
has a nice variety of wallpapers, the app is laid out nicely and makes it easy to find what you're looking for. I like it a lot. BUT I paid for the pro version and have had it for a couple years and there's rarely new pro wallpapers added. They add new free ones frequently but not for pro. honestly you're good with the free version, you won't miss out. wish they added a new pro wallpaper every time they added a free one, that would make the purchase worth it.
Used to be good; now riddled with AI garbage
Backdrops used to be THE app for wallpapers; I used it for years on Android. Unfortunately, it’s now been completely overtaken by AI wallpapers everywhere. You can thankfully still see the old, good ones. As far as I can tell, though, most of (if not all) of the new wallpapers over the last year have been AI-generated. This utilitarian philosophy of “the way the image was made does not matter as long as it serves its purpose” is a total letdown from an app that I genuinely enjoyed. It completely undermines their entire tagline “Original. Beautiful. Designs.” I cannot recommend.
Great for 4 years until NOW
I've had this app, paid for the PRO version since at least 2020 when i got the iphone 11 Pro...ALL OF A SUDDEN, they've created a new PREMIUM LEVEL of 4 categories previously part of the rest that COSTS $9.99...🤔🤔🤔 WHY? and if this is new, instead of a rude surprise, let us know, possibly even allow for options especially to those of us ALREADY subbing the PRO...I'm glad I had a few out of reach wallpapers saved prior...SMH
Excelente
Los mejores fondos de pantalla para mi en particular
used to be good
This app used to be the goat, unfortunately now its overtaken with crappy looking ai generated whatever. The ads before were just annoying, now being FORCED to watch an ad to download a wallpaper??? That’s where I draw the line. I have deleted the app now.
Great work
Really great backdrops I must say for the photo and editing also thank you for such wonderful work.
AI reigns…unfortunately
Too many walls made with AI and it’s glaringly obvious
Good but…
The app is beautifully designed so much so that I paid for premium. But the “Wall of the Day” section that implies there is a new wallpaper everyday isn’t updated daily. Please curate content regularly or the purchase was almost for nothing. :(
🤩
Dang I love this app. Such a good selection.
Used to be great
This app used to be good until they made it so you have to watch an ad or have to buy pro do download or view a background. Sleeezy.
Good and the ugly
This is hands down one of the best wallpaper apps I have got on my phone. I tried a lot of other apps but I always come back to backdrops cause it’s awesome. The UI is great, less ads, decently priced for pro packages and out of all they have really great Collection of wallpapers. But I want one feature that would have got this app a 5 rating is the feature to automatically change the wallpapers from the collection. I bandit want this feature. If I download wallpaper, my photos app will be a mess and somehow managed to add shuffle wallpapers on IOS. But I would want the app to automatically change between wallpapers.
Commercials commercials
With the latest update you’d have to watch a video between downloading every two wallpapers. Sometimes there’s a commercial video between every other pic. I’m not sure if this app is useful without subscription any longer.
Heats up the iPhone
Just minutes into the app , either browsing through or just simply downloading wallpapers my phone overheats, within a few minutes of opening the app. That is the only serious issue with this app.
Just Great
High quality, fun, interesting, easy to save and get, you don’t need a + account to get great backgrounds, the free version is just as good with just a few ads. 10/10 OVERALL
Now with more ads
Great app but version 5.0 has trashy fullscreen video ads and more paywalls than before. Please don’t ruin this app, I’ve been on this slippery slope before
Bring back down swipe to close
Nice update but swipe down to close is essential. Please bring that feature back.
Where are all my favorites?
I have been a considerable advocate of this app as a long time user between Android and iOS. The recent update removed all the favorites I had catalogued over the years which is the first bummer. The second bummer was noticing that the past year has had limited new wallpaper drops after having purchased the Pro version from the very beginning. That was supposed to include exclusive wallpaper and now while I retain my Pro account without my saved wallpaper favs I have to make individual purchases to individual collections? No thanks, I’m out I’ll just download elsewhere. :(
This app heats the iPhone like hell!
I started using this app recently. It has great wallpapers and thumbs up to the developer for that. The UI is also great. But one strange thing I noticed is that it heats up my iPhone SE2 in no time. Almost after 5 minutes of usage, the phone heats up to an extent that I have to close the app and put it down. Hope the developer fixes this soon... P.S. The app shows an unusually high number of adverts (which is quite annoying). And paying to remove ads from a wallpaper app feels stupid. It would be nice if the developer reduces the number of ads or at least show them at the bottom instead of popping them on the whole screen.
Paying for a wallpaper? Its worth it
I heard about this app after the whole other wallpaper app controversy, and decided to check it out. It offers great free ones, and paid options, which I did buy the pro for. It was a single one-time purchase and in my mind, worth it to have it go towards the app developers and its creators. It’s a reasonable cost that isn’t required for the app and there are some absolutely incredible wallpapers on here! Sometimes, I don’t want to go searching around the web to find wallpapers, having it in one spot is great!
Dumb update
Previously banner ads and occasional video ads after downloading a wallpaper, now you have to watch a video just to download a wallpaper. Much worse. Uninstalling
Good wallpaper but pathetic ads
I get unnecessary adult ads, without any warning and its awful and I hate that. Regardless of that I am only giving 4 stars because of the wallpapers.
So wait
I paid for the pro and now I have to pay again for the premium? They’re good wallpapers but it’s not the only game in town.
App is making my phone heat up
Hey There, I like the content in the app and gui that you have implemented, really good. But there is a problem with app, when I’m on it, my phone gets heated up and it is preventing me to use it regularly. Please fix this. I'm using iPhone 11 with iOS 14.3, fyi
