- App crashes frequently on some devices
An Honest Review! 🥸
Very cool artwork. I’m impressed with the quality of design. Not so impressed with the software but I suppose I’m comparing it to the design and artwork. It’s a bit expensive to subscribe but what isn’t These days.
Use backdrops instead of this app
This app doesn’t provide good value for the money they are charging 1. Pathetic navigation : Going through the collection is such a pain! 2. Poor wallpaper selection: The wallpaper selection sucks so bad that I had to run back to backdrops every single time
A major suggestion.
I love this app on my phone, but I was disappointed that the iPad version was just the iOS version but blown up. I would LOVE an iPad version, optimized for it. If that’s already in the works, great! I can’t wait to see it, but if not, it would be a great addition despite the work that it would take. Until then, 4 stars, but amazing app regardless. Although I feel like it is misleading that it isn’t clarified that the wallpapers were AI generated as another review has said.
AI Wallpapers
Some of these wallpapers are good but there are clearly AI generated ones there. They say they only use talented designers but should probably do a more thorough check that the designers aren’t using AI generated images to make their content. Defeats the entire purpose of having an app of curated wallpaper options.
More mesh gradients
I will get back to subscription if there are more mesh gradient wallpapers. Quality is perfect anyway. 👌🏻
Great App!
Recently fixed the bug I was having, all good now! Great app!
Terrible application
Full of bugs, I can’t even click on an wallpaper and view it
Suggestion
The app is great✨✨, specially the content, these wallpapers are so amazing in terms of design and quality. I just want to suggest if you can plan for the pc version. There are wallpaper I see we can to be a perfect much for the pc. But …
Open account
Why do you have to sign up before even looking at any wallpapers. Other wallpaper apps don’t do that put me off straight away one customer lost due to poor design. I like to look at what the app offers before giving any personal details.
Meh
Some of the wallpapers are good but the majority look like AI generated kids drawings. Do more that work with depth effect instead of silly drawings of fruit.
Great design
Great price
Buggies app ever
I’m interested in downloading this app, but I cannot see a single photo since the app is buggy and keeps crashing on me
Great App, but could do with a more intuitive design
The app features many great high-res wallpapers, but the design of the app makes browsing wallpapers difficult. It would be nice if there was also an option for a “feed-like,” browsing view, as well as the current unique view. The “free” tab seems like a half-implementation of this feature, although I do understand the purpose of it wasn’t quite what I have in mind.
Lots of app crashes and the wallpapers (with a few exceptions) feel so boring and uninspired.
L app
Awesome App! But…
1. Love the layout of the app 2. Pricing is fair 3. Love the free samples 4. Appreciate the high quality wallpapers. 5. Really like the being able to have wallpapers for all of my devices including iPad. However, 1. The wallpapers seemingly look alike or have about the same feel. 2. Need more variety 3. Need better detail wallpapers 4. A lot of the wallpapers seem more for a VERY young age group 5. Reiterating number 4 above but some of the wallpapers seem to kiddish. Nothing wrong with that but I need something more than oversimplified wallpapers. 6. I’m keeping the app installed hoping there will be an expansion on variety and more detailed wallpapers. I can’t subscribe just yet but I’m wanting to. I just got to see something with a bit more depth in there. 7. Good job though. What is in there is nice but it needs to be expanded upon much more.
Simply Beautiful!!!
Really love the artistic style of the wallpapers. Got the lifetime sub👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Not worth the money
Not worth the money there better apps then this one
Great wallpapers
Lots of great backgrounds. One feature request. It would be nice with a button to download all the pictures in a pack. Doing them one at a time is tedious.
Not the best
It’s a very basic app with ultra basic wallpapers, nothing amazing and mostly the type of Apple wallpapers you get if Wish designed them. Also a few copycats of already free wallpapers by BasicAppleGuy. I’d save your time and money and skip this. I much prefer Digital Chase and ispazio
AI art for a subscription
I don’t know if it has always been this way and I doubt it’s all of the wallpapers but many of them are very clearly AI. You can easily look for just a min and realize things don’t make much sense in some of the art. I get running a business and making money and respect it. Just felt like it was sold to me differently. Nice app otherwise and I wish I could pay for individual wallpapers rather than sub. The AI and the Subscription model is what led me to uninstall, other wise I wish you the best!
Amazing Wallpapers!
Just what I have been wanting for years. A nice clean app that has amazing wallpapers for my devices. No annoying ads either. Thank you for creating this!!
AI generated wallpapers
You should not recieve pay for selling AI generated images. They are so hideous when you look closer. Disgusting practice that should be banned everywhere
Well made app but could use some updates
The content and UI of the app is very well-made and polished. Some of the best wallpapers that I’ve used in years. Although, there are a few things that could be changed about the app. The download button doesn’t exactly seem like the download button at a first glance. My first impression when seeing it was thinking that it would swap to the next wallpaper in the pack. Additionally, the app randomly crashes when scrolling through different Wallpaper packs, or exiting the “optimized” view of a wallpaper in a pack. Overall, the app is very well designed, but I feel as if a few minor tweaks would make the experience better.
⭐️⭐️
Nice UI and there are possibly a few wallpapers that I would use, however not worth the annual IAP. I realize you must pay the artist for their work and need to make money, however selection is just so-so to warrant any subscription. Especially at $19.99 a year!
Needs to be subscription - lifetime option
Just got the yearly subscription and now for the same price basically there is lifetime.. so i am robbed of lifetime because i bought the yearly a bit too early? Quite annoying…
Wow
This app is great. There are tons of amazing wallpapers in here. Keep them coming.
Doesn’t work
App requires signing up. Unfortunately, you must use the email app on your phone to activate your account / sign up. Moreover, the link I’ve received doesn’t work. Shame.
It’s mostly good..
I do so like this app and the wallpaper has high quality, But I wish that you could get at least one wallpaper on the premium for free? But if is good.
Great wallpapers but you will need to pay
I find that most of the wallpapers in this app look great but you will need to pay. You can only get 1 wallpaper and even if you try you can’t get any more. But the wallpapers are all high quality and look pleasing.
iPad support and more wallpapers
With the way the app is designed to add wallpapers every month, that means since it’s such a new app there are very very few wallpapers. It will take about a year or two until there are a good amount. Too bad initial users will have to wait that long. I would also like ipad and Mac support. Update: all the packs have the exact same art style and are too basic. Some more variety in styles and some more detailed wallpapers would make this seem worth it.

**Review of WallpaperZ Z** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently started using WallpaperZ, and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed! After trying various wallpaper apps, I can confidently say that this one stands out, especially compared to the Panels app. The user interface is sleek and user-friendly, making it a pleasure to navigate through the extensive collection of wallpapers. One of the biggest advantages of WallpaperZ is the absence of ads. It’s refreshing to use an app that allows you to enjoy its features without constant interruptions. This focus on user experience really sets it apart from competitors. The subscription options are straightforward, with only two choices available, which makes it easy to decide what works best for me. I appreciate that the developers have kept it simple without overwhelming users with countless plans. Kudos to the team behind WallpaperZ Z for the amazing work done so far! I hope they continue to enhance the app without sacrificing its current features. Keep up the fantastic work, and as a fan of Zone of Tech, I’m signing off with a cheerful reminder to maintain this quality. Cheers!
App keeps crashing on iPhone 14 Pro Max
App keeps crashing on iPhone 14 Pro Max
Great app !
The app is gradually specially the quality of the wallpapers. The only problem is that out of every wallpaper pack there is only one free wallpaper
Meh
Just a bunch of Ai generated images. Nothing stands out that’s worth paying a monthly subscription
great but not enough for me to keep
it's 50/50 not bad not the best with no offence to the makers of wallpapers they seem too simple and just not worth it i keep going back to the default wallpapers apple offers i just feel it's better designs
Better Than Panels
MKBHD ain’t got nothing on this app! I have both apps and I like both creators but this one is better for the user. No ads is the best!!!
The app is too difficult to navigate.
App has a terrible design and bad wallpapers. I can’t even properly navigate through the app it’s so annoying to use. I think you should redesign the app to be like other wallpaper apps with clean and simple to use interface. Make more free wallpapers available. Overall a poor design and experience but has potential.
The interface needs to have instructions
It took a lot of trial and error to finally understand how to view the packs, not to mention the subscription part. Only by touching the padlock you see the subscription information!! Why not adding written and verbal instructions to this app? I know you may have explained it somewhere else, this app needs instructions!!!
Not worth the money.
There’s no issue at all with the wallpapers I just don’t think it warrants the price. Not to mention there really is not very many wallpapers. With an app like Wallcraft you only have to pay $4.99 a year and you have access to thousands of very high-quality wallpapers. So again, I do not think this is a bad app by any means, and the wallpapers do look nice they just are not worth the price.
Okay
They have some nice wallpapers but you can only chose 1 per stack unless you pay premium.
I like this app ♥️
Nice design
Disappointed
Ain’t no way u paywalled ur app, at least add ads or something, this is bad, I actually liked some of the wall papers but they are pay locked 😢. I’m only 14 so my parents think paying for wall papers is waste of money. This is quite a letdown and disappointing
Hey 👋
Hello, Im curious if more wallpapers will be added, there’s only about 10 to choose from unless im missing something? Love the app so far though. I was curious how you maintain this app if there are no ads or premium version.
Seriously?
You want a monthly subscription for a wallpaper app? No. The wallpapers are fine but let me pay for individual wallpapers. I won’t subscribe out of principle. I’m tired of developers getting subscription greedy.
How do you subscribe?
Most mobile apps beat you over the head with subscription pop ups. I'm not complaining about that part as the developers are trying to run a business not a mobile app charity. This is the only app where I've been unable to decipher how to give them money. There's a reviewer who mentions eventually finding a padlock icon which they clicked and were then able to subscribe, but I spent about 10 minutes looking for the padlock and have so far come up empty. Maybe it's staring me in the face and I'm an idiot.. But designing mobile apps is a lot like designing equipment for the military... We're working towards the lowest common denominator... Which in this case is me, the standard issue simpleton. Help me out here.... I'll even give you $2!
Best wallpaper app!
This app is hands-down the best wallpaper app not only does it have no ads on the free version, but provides so much value upfront and is affordable for such high-quality 8K Wallpapers! On top of that, it is a great community that is supporting creators!

Getting there
Overall a great app with a clean and simple design. Compared to most apps, it isn’t expensive at all and having no ads is a plus. I do feel a lot of the wallpapers are a bit similar in design but then again this is something that’ll change with time as it’s brand new. It’s also because the designs are based off of the ZONEofTECH YouTube channel. I do also wish I could scroll through the packs by swiping on the wallpapers themselves instead of using the scroller beneath the pack but apart from this and the similar art style in wallpapers I would say it’s a great wallpaper app with a lot of potential. Would recommend.
I’m sorry but….
Charging for wallpaper(z) to me is a complete no go area, there are a billion free online or you can create your own unique wallpapers yourself. I gave two stars as I really like Zone of tech videos, sorry
Awesome but gets pricey
I have watched zone of tech videos for years, this app is a breath of fresh air. You get only 1 wallpaper free to download but would need a subscription of £1.99/month to access all the other wallpapers. If there was a free option to access all wallpapers during launch would have been great. If you change your wallpaper every week or so then the subscription and the app is worth the money.
