Amazing App for beginners
I had used Ross’s first app and this one is very similar - I like this new version better. First time using it today and it is definitely worth it! I had no issues using the app during my workout or switching workouts for available equipment at the gym. There are a few ways to subscribe and I found two web pages on the reps by Ross website, one that offered a 7 day free trial and another page that didn’t. The price also slightly varied. The free trial subscription was $4-$5 cheaper a month than the subscription without any free trial. His website does say sometimes he runs promotions. Unless you want to pay more, don’t subscribe through the Apple Store (to avoid the Apple tax). I’m already going to switch to the annual plan! I haven’t worked out for a few years, so all the videos available on the app on how to properly do the workout is very helpful. No looking videos up on YouTube, it’s all right there. You can even watch the videos before “switching” out exercises for available equipment/machines - or if I don’t like one exercise, there are 5-6 others I can choose from that target the same muscle. Also has a countdown for when to rest and when to start. If you want to see results, use this app! I’ve done it before this his app and will do it again! 10/10!
No flexibility, lacking features
Got this app to replace my previous online coach who I had for 9 months. Was disappointed to find that you couldn’t edit any of the workouts, it just creates you the plan and that’s it, can’t add or take things away. Meal tracking isn’t great either. Just gives you a meal plan but again you can’t add in anything you’ve eaten to track, can only add what the AI gives you. Realised this as soon as I got access and saw that it wasn’t for me but you can’t get a refund. If you want to be able to track your workouts with a plan that’ll allow you change the movement depending on what you have access to or to be able to track your own meals then don’t get this app! I wish I never had.
Pause
I wish there was a pause button if you take a quick bathroom break or close out of the workout to look at the food/other workouts. It totally stops the workout.
Constantly crashing
I can be mid way through an exercise session and the app will go back to the Home Screen if I look at another app. This will restart the time and I will have to start again. This app has had loads of issues but I’ve stuck with it , I’m now getting frustrated with it and thinking of cancelling.
Newbie
Day 3 of using the app and love it. Complete beginner and find it really easy to use and swap exercise s if needed 💪
Cannot cancel
This app is designed to keep people paying 26.99$ for ever. There is no cancellation process. All for money no guidance no customer service.
Good
The app is great the workouts and the meal plans are on point, Ross makes it super easy to know what you are doing and when…. My only complaint is the program auto renews with no email notification about charging you… The best thing you could do is give your customers notice before you bill them again. Might save your team and others a bit of frustration.
Abel
I already paid the money but after I inter my name and body fat percentage the app is stuck anybody can help me
First week
First week on bulking program totally feeling it Ross has it dialed in so pumped
Buggy experience, but okay content
Overall the content is good, it’s just the app is extremely buggy and unstable. For example, it fails to keep track of already worked out days.
No posture oriented exercises
It’s good but they need to target posture oriented exercises more
1st week
Like the fact that I can mix & match meals, also videos to show how exercise is done. Loving it.👍🏻
SCAM
They make it almost impossible to cancel the subscription! I have had to do a charge back through my bank. AVOID at all costs
Damn the price
Can’t believe the price I saw. I really love dickerson but… wow !
Best App
I’ve try many app but this one is by far the best app out here for men. I’m not sure for woman. Love it
App Update
I have read a significant amount of reviews since the upgrade and can understand the level of frustration. I can also understand that with change comes discomfort with new information and approaches. I don’t understand the staff with defending the upgrade with paying customers that have referred a number of new subscribers. I say this because, they have been a long time member and they have frustrations that are real. To reply with “other members like the upgrade” serves no valuable information regarding their thoughts and comes across as self serving. (and yes I have been a member for over a year ... so coming from a perspective of knowledge). I know I had sent twice 3-4 questions via email support and none of them have been answered. I’m not going to remark negatively regarding thoughts on their upgrade, just want to know if what has not been included in the past app will be added. The complaints as opposed to suggestions are a better approach to help prior members make decisions to stay or go elsewhere ... like Don Saladino’s app and approach, as an alternative. Anyways, I hope this helps those with issues and those considering starting to get a little feedback.
App
Great App. But could be better. Check out the Ladder app set up. I love your choice of exercises but if the app flow went just like Ladders this would be an awesome app! Just feedback
They deleted all my data
I wanted to go from monthly to the 12 month subscription price. I asked and confirmed 3 different times my meal plan and workout routines and previous history wouldn’t be deleted. They assured me it wouldn’t. They deleted all my info and I had to start from the very beginning (what’s my age, weight, my goals, etc etc etc etc). Aggravating to say the least especially bc I was working out then all my workouts just went away half way into my gym sesh. Messaged support several times to ask what happened now zero response after I have paid them for a yearly sub.
Excelente
Excelente app un cambio importante de acuerdo a la manera de hacer ejercicio por tu propia cuenta
Can I cancel my subscription or are you going to keep taking my money?
Overpriced. Your just paying for an app to organize stuff you could do yourself. The workout “plans” have me do the same thing 4 weeks over. And when I want to cancel my subscription there is no way to and the support team doesn’t respond to emails. Terrible service.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The meal plans are delicious and the customer service is phenomenal. I have changed my meal plan multiple times. They have always been super friendly accommodating. Every exercise has a video that goes along with it which is like a having A personal trainer there with you to help with proper form. This is my favorite exercise app and I have shared it with all of my friends! 100% worth it.
Beyond overpriced
$700 for one year of access to a 4 month program, the steroids aren’t even included…I hope nobody’s stupid enough to buy into this
Best Apps
This truly is one of the best workout apps in the game.

Best fitness tool ever
Been following Ross for years. Everything he puts out is quality, and this is no exception. Follow the plan and you’re guaranteed to improve your health, fitness, physique, and confidence. Awesome stuff!
Awful
I am extremely dissapointed with this app. i have no access to any of the workouts or meal plans.
