Why that
Hi I just wanted to tell you the texting is not working for me for some reason it won’t let me text and people are trying to talk to me and so can you tell me why it well not work!?
Auto subscriptions and no cancellation
I have been auto subscribed to their AIE Grow where they charge $128 weekly and now they won’t cancel it. Pls be aware!
What is this app?
I’m just curious to what kind of app this is. For a few seconds i thought it was a dating app. is it? just questioning because my mom is on it.
Disappointing
This app has so many good possibilities, but there are glitches that no one has fixed over time. Notifications are inconsistent, and important messages missed. At this point, I no longer anticipate anybody will fix it.
Update needed
Need to change the settings so that any audio can continue to play while the phone locks.
Love Heartbeat
I searched long and hard for the perfect community app. Not just as a member, but also as someone who runs a membership. One of the things that made me use HeartBeat was the fact that the mobile app is so fantastic. They were the first ones who solved the problem elegantly of toggling back and forth between different memberships and toggling back and forth as a member and as a host. That, to me, was one of the biggest selling points. The app is nice and easy and super well streamlined. I highly recommend it.
Invasion of privacy
I downloaded this as recommended by a FB group I was following. Yesterday I went to put a comment in & tapped on first icon in error. It pulled up my entire photos. I have photo sharing turned off on my settings. There are personal things I do not want to share that’s why it’s off. I consider this an invasion of privacy.
Gotten so bad-phone worse than laptop
I’ve been using HB for 2+ years and it is wonky. My phone app will show I have a communication of some sort but refused to show me what it is. I have to get on my laptop to figure it out. That is only one of about 10 daily complaints I have about the system. Could so easily be better than this. And I’m pretty sure all those ultra enthusiastic reviews are from Heartbeat makers or paid reviews. No one could legitimately be that happy about this app 🧐
Great for Admins, not so much for Users
Great for me as a membership owner, but my users have so many issues logging in. I use ‘MS Clarity’ to track user experience and behaviour and see so many people not knowing where to click, and trying to access the community straight away. Having to download the app to get into the membership is friction point and many people just give up. Case in point I have 63 people abandoned out of 170.
Faster and Easier to Navigate…
The app has greatly improved in speed and overall usability. It’s easy to navigate and use. Love it!
Needs to be optimized for iPad
It a good community app, but it doesn’t work well with an iPad, especially in landscape view
Very Glitchy
The app is constantly freezing. I tried reinstalling and that didn’t help. Not sure what the issue is. If it keeps freezing then I’ll delete.

Greenlight!
Heartbeat has been an incredible membership hub for my Community and Signature online course. Because it’s has user-friendly features I get to create new experiences for new and current members. They keep expanding the technology so I get to expand with them. It’s a WIN-WIN!
Fast as a flatlined heartbeat
The features the app offers are great as far as organizing content and structuring a community is concerned. But if the app performance is non existent then what’s the point. It’s like having a car that doesn’t move. I find myself always waiting for chats to load, tapping for 30 seconds on a menu item before the app responds, overlapping content, and other similar performance related issues. Fix the performance and you’ve got a winner. Don’t and it’s a dud.
Not working correctly
I have experienced a lot of loading issues in the past few weeks. I go into the app but nothing loads! Its extremely frustrating. The screen seems to just freeze as well
Good app but some fixes are needed.
This app works great, however… 1. You can't change where you live unless you use the website 2. There is always an extra notification you can't find 3. Images take a long time to load 4. There is no permalink on the app, only on the website Developers, please consider these suggestions, it would be a great improvement to the current app.
Just keeps getting better
They keep working to fix prior bugs and make it better and better. SO much better than Facebook groups for an online community!!!
HATE This App
I literally hate using this app, but I have no choice because my provider uses it. It’s just terrible on an iPad. The log in forces you to go to your email every time, which is just ridiculous in this day and age. Then the frame is tiny even when expanded. They have incompetent tech designers. I will only log in on the web cause the app is useless. Don’t bother if you’re not forced into using it.
App very glitchy, keeps shutting down!
Initially was a really good app with great functionality but since iOS update 17.2 & 17.2.1 it’s now completely unusable. Can scroll through posts, but when you click to do anything else the app crashes!
On the fence
I like geneva right now but I want to give heartbeat a chance. I love the layout and thing I can potentially do. Not a fan of not understanding the back end like how got delete a community or how to do my backend set up on mobile.
Excellent alternative to Circle or Skool
I love the Heartbeat app. This is a cost effective solution to host a community as well as to host your synchronous meetings and message boards. The IOS app makes is easy to do DMs and have full control of the onboarding experience.

Repeated network error screen when trying to login after putting in confirmation code
Great Platform, App Lags
Whenever I open my app, it takes a long time to load. Sometimes the app crashes for no reason. It happened to not just me but my community members as well.
Please change the app icon

Best Community App Ever
Our new community absolutely loves the Heartbeat Chat app with it’s rolling feed and easy access to all functionality. It keeps us connected when we’re on the go. We even had a poll to choose which color the app would present in on our phones. Until recently, we were using another community platform that didn’t even have a mobile app, so Heartbeat’s app is a welcomed improvement!
Frozen
Anytime I open up the app it loads, but I can’t tap on anything or respond to anything. It just opens up on that one screen I can scroll up and down and that’s it.
Way too much white space, notifications are messed up
I prefer Slack to this. There is way too much padding, causing you to scroll for a mile to see anything. Notifications are funky and make zero sense. Sometimes they’re delayed, sometimes none show at all. Inserting images isn’t great either. Slack and Teams are much cleaner. 2/5 would not recommend.

Cannot edit profile. You are stuck with what you entered in the beginning. Seems like a good start however.

Scam
They never update the events like they make it seem. Also these app creators specifically charge you through a third party so you cant cancel the subscription through Apple, or anywhere.
Ok app that needs improvement; TERRIBLE support ethos
Support is non existent so don’t expect any help. The app is ok but they fail to think things thru before release. Eg no proper embedding and can embed vadootv in some places such as desktop but not others such as mobile. Many other issues just not properly considered.
Getting better and better!
Heartbeat keeps getting better and better! Their advancement and capabilities keep growing what seems almost weekly! You guys are doing a killer job and I’m super grateful for what you provide!
Unable to receive support!
Unable to log in to account to cancel the subscription. I have attempted to contact support and I have not received an email back. Meanwhile, I was charged $9.99 today. I am not happy at all 😒
LOVE!!
I have tried soooooo many platforms as a user and also a business owner. Heartbeat is my favorite! It's easy to use, my clients love it and the founders are extremely responsive and hold weekly meetings. The platform is always improving and growing! Way better than Skool or Might Networks!
Phantom Notifications
This app has a problem with notifications. The red notification on the screen drives me absolutely insane. I’ve tried turning notifications on/off, same for this specific app, I’ve offloaded it, refreshed it, I’ve even removed it completely and downloaded again numerous times and it is STILL THERE. PLEASE FIX
