Great app, easy to use!
My hiking group was being hugely gouged for money on a different social app and we just had to leave. Luckily, one of our members discovered Heylo. Since getting set up in it, we have found it works smoothly, makes using it easy, and it is not glitchy like the other one was. Very simple and easy to use. We love Heylo!
Buggy
Installed the app on iPhone and it asked for access to add events to calendar, so I granted add access only but it didn’t accept that. Then granted full access to calendar and it didn’t even add the event to the calendar. Bad first experience
Pretty good
Pretty good for managing a community. Some basic, yet small features missing though.
Only ok
App is ok except there’s no search functionality whatsoever. Frustrating.
navigation
Challenging to navigate compared to Meetup
New and now True to It
Started using this app once I move to a new state. And joined a volunteer/welcoming community. It’s a very clean and clear access accessible and links share very well to add more people to it. I love the ability to have a subgroup a sub conversation/chat
No Customer Support Available
I'm sure it's a great app, if only I could access its features. I've spent the past week putting in Customer Service requests through the Help Chat and several e-mails, but it's all crickets 🦗
UI issues in Iphone 12 mini
Hi, facing multiple navigation issues with the device iphone 12 mini. Simple navigations are blocked sometimes. Please help! Looks like the issue is fixed now. Increasing the star hence. Btw Is there any option to link Strava or other trackers with Heylo profile?
Notifications
Since the update, my notifications aren’t working. I checked my phone settings and they’re all on but nothing from Heylo
👌
Nice app
White Nationalism doesn’t belong in Queer Spaces
The subgroups formed in this app are organized by dangerous individuals who are also happy sex predators living among regular humans. “Thanks so much for your valuable feedback.”
rough bug in DoB field
happy to share it with the developer
Great connecting app
This is a great way to connect with your community and events in the area.
App
App is not consistent, very glitchy
Pretty good app
Some modules & things are kinda in the way and could be placed better. Not sure if flow was put through user testing. Notifications are a little wonky from a timing perspective. I’d like the ability to put GIFs in the chat. That’s just something users expect from a chat section now. Bring us GIF access!
A great platform
Hello is a very helpful platform for groups and clubs to stay connected and to manage gatherings and events. It’s a wonderful tool for helping members stay connected. It’s not perfect, but it’s darn close. I’m sure it will evolve overtime. If you are already a user or if you become one, I strongly encourage you to share your suggestions for how they can improve the platform. It’s nice that they ask for suggestions.
Runner club
The app should be renamed to runner club or something. There are only runner groups in any city I checked

Excellent App
Love everything about Heylo and it feels like updates are always right in time and for all the right reasons. Such an easy way to connect communities of people.
App down!
App won’t open my groups and I am in the middle of planning for an event. Will edit review when it is fixed. Current status - “our apologies. Something went wrong. Reset / Update / contact Heylo “
Buggy and empty for now
Crashed twice when I first tried to open the app. Then it seemed to work ok, but there are only 3 groups in Montreal as of now. I was referred to a hiking group, and it doesn't appear in that list for some reason. Maybe the "near me" location feature is too restrictive? The overall feel of the UI was inconvenient, confusing. I will check it out again in a few months.
The App for Connection
We use Heylo for everything. We looked at so many apps but this is the only that truly builds community for our groups.
Crashing
I have the American App Store, an iPhone 15, living in France. This app is crashing and useless for me - I have tried to re-download. It works for my French friend who has an android, there is a bug.
Ayuda registro
Al registrarme me dice que no fue posible mandar el código que intente más tarde, ya van varios días
Easy group planning
Great app that my fellow knitters & I use to plan our sessions!
Unethical business practices
Charged my credit card without consent, I contacted them and they were completely unprofessional and refused to correct their mistake Update: Professionals listen to feedback and make improvements rather than deny mistakes
Search function needed
This app would be amazing if it had a search function. When in big groups and you miss hey messages having to scroll back is soul sucking. Really wish this was prioritized.
Creating Community
I can’t say enough good about this app. It’s become our only hub for communication. We wanted to create a community and not just a club during our rebuild after COVID. Heylo has been a “huge” part in connecting our athletes to make that a reality. Also, customer support has been top-notch.
Can’t add phone number - can’t join
Your app doesn’t allow for dashes in phone number entry, but it requires them. I can’t move past this screen.
Eastside Mingles
I’m so grateful that we are able to continue our Meetup group where I’ve met countless, beautiful and enterprising people.
Horrible app, very little happening
Terrible UX. Very few groups and lots of spam.
